If someone invited Avril to the beach, she wouldn't refuse at all. Quietly, Zed watched Avril from the rearview mirror. Avril's happy expression was visible and Zed's feelings warmed up at the same time.
Physically, Zed has a handsome face and a well-proportioned body. Zed had the right muscles. Avril could see them because Zed often wore short-sleeved shirts, so when he folded his arms across his chest, Avril could see his muscles. That's what made the cheer team members go crazy and not focus on training. Zed
In the distance, Venice Beach came into view. The stretch of sand on the outskirts of the city seemed to be the townspeople's entertainment to take a break from their tiring daily lives. The sand seemed to tempt Avril. Hey! Come here and join me barefoot! Maybe, you can find a hot guy here? Avril chuckled as she realized her strange thought.
"Oh, my gosh! The beach is beautiful!" Avril said happily.
"Oh, you say that every time you come here, A!" Zed said amused.
"What? Oh, I think I can say it a thousand times!" Avril said immediately. "I wouldn't change it even if it bothered you!"
Zed laughed amusedly in response to Avril's remark. "Good! Do what you want like a typical Avril Marie Miller."
"I will," Avril said happily. "Let's go ice cream hunting!"
Perhaps, Avril needed to recharge her batteries after today's incident in the corridor.
Zed repeatedly looked in his rearview mirror to check on Avril. The girl was enjoying their evening stroll immensely. There was something inexplicable earlier when Zed saw Avril enter the field. Somehow there was something in Avril's eyes that bothered him even though during cheers, Avril was not bothered at all.
Avril was smiling now, watching the sky above as she felt the afternoon breeze at the edge of Los Angeles. The palm tree seemed to promise the pleasure Avril was looking for. The palm tree was a sign that Avril was almost at her destination and ready to let go of whatever was bothering her at the moment.
Meanwhile, looking at Avril's hair flying in the wind, Zed couldn't stop himself from feeling happy. Zed had said earlier that the more time he spent with Avril, the more he fell under her spell. His feelings were rising sharply and Zed would take as much time as possible to dominate Avril Miller. This was a good opportunity for Zed since they were alone together.
As the sand came into view and the wind grew louder, Avril held her hair as she sighed. This is it! The sweet sea. Avril wanted to hurry up take off her shoes and enjoy the beach. Why does Avril never get bored, huh?
Moments later, Zed managed to find a parking space. Avril smiled happily and quickly got off the bike and took a deep breath of beach air. Oh my God! This is the best thing that's ever happened today. It is! Zed followed later. He noticed Avril and her big smile. She was so charming!
"Avril!" Zed called out.
"Yes?" Avril said.
Avril's hair was blowing in the wind and Zed thought this was the best moment he had with Avril. It would be even better if they could walk holding hands on the beach. But, Zed doubted Avril would want to do that. Zed didn't want to push Avril any further. It would be a lie to say that Zed was satisfied with all this. Of course, every feeling hopes it will be reciprocated. And so it was with Zed Castellar. At least, Zed felt grateful for what happened today.
Zed walked over to Avril. Avril was very excited to go to Venice Beach today. Once in front of Avril, Zed saw the twinkle in Avril's eyes. The way she smiled made Zed's heart skip a beat. But, Zed wasn't nervous at all. The pounding of his heart was clear evidence that Zed was truly in love with Avril Marie Miller.
"You look happy," Zed said.
"Of course! We're going to Venice Beach" Avril said excitedly.
"We come here all the time," said Zed amused.
"Oh, I told you, I won't get bored at all" Avril replied amused.
Zed nodded in agreement. Avril was still smiling broadly and Zed's heartbeat seemed to be forming its melody. Zed felt it was unfair that Avril Miller was being so casual. But, what could he do? Zed seemed to need time to make Avril fall in love with him. At least, it would be a near-impossible mission with all of Avril's rejections now.
"Yes, I can see that. But, A..." Zed said.
"Yes?"
"As much fun as you're having, don't forget to take off your helmet!" Zed said amused.
Avril seemed to have completely forgotten her helmet. She reached for the helmet that was still perfectly worn on her head and smiled a little. How silly. Zed smiled at Avril's behavior. Before the girl removed her helmet, Zed did so willingly. He unfastened the safety on Avril's helmet and then gently removed the helmet. Afterward, Zed gently smoothed Avril's hair.
Avril was silent. Her distance from Zed made Avril feel a little strange, especially with all the attention the man was currently receiving. Actually, what kind of situation is this? Why is Avril confused about her next move?
"Well, now, I'll be your personal tour guide. Come on, Avril!" Zed said afterward while putting down Avril's helmet.
Oh, Zed! The man was very good at diverting the mood well. Zed acted normal afterwards and Avril cursed herself for being so stupid. Why couldn't Avril have done anything earlier? Whatever happened earlier, all Avril knew right now was the Venice beach in front of her.
"Come on!" Avril said excitedly, almost jumping. "Are we playing tour guide and visitor?"
Zed laughed beside her. "Oh, I can do that! You know I'm smart, A!"
"Oh, I know someone even smarter!" said Avril.
Zed laughed. When he was with Avril, he laughed a lot.
