Ch. 4Bab 4

One day latter.
Mrs. Franklin's request. Oliver came to the main mansion out of Franklin. Today, he started working as a bodyguard for the youngest daughter of the Franklin family.
And here Oliver was, in Franklin's main mansion, while carrying his suitcase.
"You've come, take a seat. I'll call my husband," Ashley said kindly. And smiled at Oliver.
"Thank you, Mrs. Franklin," Oliver replied with a sly smile.
Ashley called Lucas into her private room to meet with Oliver and explain what his duties were today.
"Honey, Oliver is already downstairs. You'd better come down and see him," Ashley said, smiling as she adjusted her work shirt.
"Huh. Are you sure that guy can be our little princess?" asked Lucas, doubting Oliver.
Lucas was skeptical of Oliver, not sure. The man could take good care of his little princess. For some reason, something was nagging in his heart, like there was hesitation in accepting Oliver to be Yoursa's bodyguard—his little princess. But, seeing his beloved wife assure him, Lucas dismissed those doubts. And believed.
"Darling, put your doubts away. I'm sure Oliver is the right man to look after Yoursa," Ashley assured Lucas-her husband.
"It's not that sweet. I'm just a little doubtful, and for some reason, my heart is a little uneasy."
"I know your concern for Yoursa. But, if we don't try to hire Oliver, how will we know how Oliver will deal with your little daughter," Ashley replied, gently. While giving Lucas a quick peck on the lips.
"Sweet, don't let me eat you in the morning," Lucas warned. He finds his wife pecking while teasing him.
"You're the one who can't contain your desires, Luke! Remember, you're not young anymore. Keep your perverted brain at bay."
"TSK...! Even though I'm old, I can still score many times, do you want to try?" asked Lucas, chuckling.
"You perverted brain! Hurry up and get out, or you won't get your rations for a week!" threatened Ashley, disgusted by Lucas' unfiltered words.
Lucas was surprised by his wife's threat. Over the past few months, Ashley had never threatened him with the kind of cruel words that always scared him. In fact, Ashley never played around with her words if he didn't comply.
"Your threats always make me twitch in horror."
"Then hurry downstairs! And I'll call Yoursa." Ashley left Lucas, who was holding back his arousal, due to a brief peck. However, it could arouse his male desire.
Lucas cursed in annoyance at his wife's treatment. He was really made to fly high and then dropped just like that, and only Ashley was able to make Lucas even more crazy.
----
Lucas was now in the main room of the mansion, approaching Oliver, who was sitting on the sofa.
"Hmm…!" Lucas woke up Oliver, who woke up and looked at him.
"Mr. Franklin, sorry I didn't know you were here," Oliver said as he got up from his seat.
"Sit down," Lucas said, telling Oliver to sit back down.
"So, are you ready for your assignment?" asked Lucas sternly.
"I'm ready to carry out the task you've given me!"
"Very well. Then I will prepare your contract, and in that contract, there are several points that you must pay attention to, especially that you cannot fall in love with my daughter. If that happens, the consequences will be that you will be fired and cannot work wherever you apply, are you ready?" asked Lucas. Explaining the important points in the contract agreement.
"I am ready to accept the consequences, Mr. Franklin," Oliver replied firmly. With a sly smile that Lucas couldn't see.
"Good, I like your firm attitude. And for today, your job is to drive my daughter to her college. Remember one thing you should know, my daughter has many ways to deter her bodyguards and make them quit this job. I hope you can be patient with my daughter's mischievous behavior. Don't let your first day of work make you dizzy with her attitude, especially since my daughter has a thousand and one ways to escape supervision."
"You don't need to worry, I can handle your daughter well. Just trust me with everything." Oliver was so confident that he could bring Lucas' youngest daughter to her knees, even though Lucas' little daughter was very different from her older brother.
After seeing the confidence, Oliver had to deal with his little daughter. Lucas explained the other tasks. He hopes that Oliver can make Yoursa's attitude change and be more responsible.
Not long after, the two women of different ages went downstairs. As Oliver looked around the room, his eyes fell on two women who looked very similar. The only difference was their age.
"Daddy," called Yoursa, the Franklin family's little daughter.
"Oh, my little princess," Lucas replied. Greeting his daughter back.
"Is daddy working today?"
"Why do you ask that?" Lucas turned to ask his daughter.
"Alaric told me to go to his penthouse today."
"That boy! Always leaving his responsibilities behind, huh!" Lucas sighed harshly, slightly annoyed with his eldest child.
"Father," called Yoursa.
"You can go to your brother's penthouse after you finish your studies! And remember, Daddy doesn't want to hear about you being absent again," Lucas emphasized. He glanced at Oliver.
Yoursa, hadn't noticed Oliver's presence since she was focused on her daddy. Ashley, on the other hand, just rolled her eyes to see Yoursa clinging to her husband's arm.
"Are you going to continue like that, Kimberly?" asked Ashley. Calling her daughter's first name.
While Yoursa smiled innocently. She knew that if the big lady called her by her first name, something would happen that would make her ears burn. But before that happened, Yoursa gave her father the code.
"Sweaty, never mind, your daughter was just playing with me for a while, don't be jealous!"
"I'm not jealous of you, Luke!"
"So?"
"Do you see what time it is? Are you going to keep spoiling your daughter, huh!" snapped Ashley, telling Lucas to look at the clock in his hand?
Instantly, Lucas looked at his watch. It was eight past fifteen, and he had a meeting with his business partner in twenty minutes.
"Ah... Damn! Why didn't you remind me, sweetie? I'm going to be late at this rate!" said Lucas.
"Blame yourself, who keeps spoiling Yoursa!" retorted Ashley, not wanting to be blamed.
"Why me, mom! I was just asking Daddy about Alaric, is that wrong?" asked Yoursa, feeling partly to blame by the big mistress.
"Mommy doesn't want to argue with you! And Oliver, I'm sorry if the atmosphere in this room makes you uncomfortable."
Ashley's words made Yoursa look at the man who had been watching their argument.
"No problem, Mrs. Franklin," Oliver said, smiling.
"And for mommy's daughter, starting today, Oliver will be your bodyguard, wherever you go, Oliver will guard and protect you, don't make any more trouble, remember that!" Ashley warned her son.
However, Yoursa did not hear her mommy's words at all. Her gaze was focused on Oliver, remembering the man's familiar face.
