Hearing Daniel's voice was like a command that was very difficult to refuse. Emily tried to chase Daniel, who was getting away. Finally, with a sharp intake of breath, Emily made it to where Daniel was standing.
Thawatchai, their travel agent, greeted them with a warm smile. "Can we go now?" he asked excitedly, which was only answered by a small nod from Daniel.
The travel agent gave some recommendations of nearby restaurants that were famous for their delicious Thai cuisine. After looking at a few options, Daniel and Emily tried the local restaurant suggested by the travel agent. The restaurant was famous for its Thai specialties. Just hearing the menu already made Emily feel hungry and couldn't wait to taste the delicious food.
After a while, the car finally stopped at a local restaurant recommended by the travel agent. Daniel and Emily walked into the restaurant, but suddenly, accidentally, Emily almost hit someone who was about to get out of the restaurant. Seeing that, Daniel swiftly pulled Emily closer to him, preventing her from hitting the person.
"Th-thank you, sir," Emily said, but Daniel didn't seem to respond and entered the restaurant at a fast pace.
"It's so cold! I feel like I'm talking to a wall. Why do I have to be stuck in a situation like this? Dad, I miss you," muttered Emily with dramatic feeling.
"What are you doing there?" asked Daniel with a cold and sharp gaze directed at her.
Emily immediately moved towards where Daniel was standing. After they entered the restaurant, Emily and Daniel chose a place to sit down. The aroma of delicious food immediately wafted into their noses. Emily's stomach was already rumbling with hunger.
Daniel took out his cell phone and seemed to be busy with his own business, regardless of Emily's existence. After a while, their dishes were finally served on the table. Emily immediately took out her cell phone and started taking photos excitedly, capturing the dishes in front of her.
Meanwhile, Daniel could only shake his head at Emily's demeanor, which looked just like most people who were more interested in taking a few photos of the food before eating it. Emily seemed to forget for a moment that she was with Daniel at the moment.
"Eat before it gets cold!" said Daniel in a stern tone, making Emily realize she was with the 'Ice Prince'.
"Wow, it looks delicious," Emily said excitedly, then immediately tasted the food. Her eyes widened perfectly when she felt how delicious the dish in front of her was.
Meanwhile, Daniel looked a little spicy because he was not too strong with spicy food. He continued to sip his drink until it was almost gone.
"Is it very spicy, sir?" asked Emily with concern.
"Mmm," Daniel replied briefly.
Emily was a little surprised to learn that Daniel had a weakness for spicy food.
Although spicy, Daniel still ate quickly, so he had to wait for Emily, who had not yet finished eating. After they finished eating, Daniel and Emily returned to their hotel. Emily actually still wanted to walk around and enjoy the beauty of the Thai city, but she knew well that they were here for a business trip and had to follow a predetermined schedule.
"Tomorrow there is the Loy Krathong Festival here. This festival is famous for releasing floating boats we call krathong in the water. It's a way to honor the river goddess and wish for good luck. I only recommend it. Maybe you're interested in seeing the festival," Thawatchai explains enthusiastically.
"Festival? Really?" asked Emily with interest. She was so intrigued by the idea of this interesting festival that she momentarily forgot about Daniel's presence by her side.
"Yes, Miss. Apart from releasing the krathong, the Loy Krathong festival is also filled with various activities and entertainment. There are traditional dance performances, music, and art exhibitions showcasing Thai culture. People can also enjoy delicious Thai specialties, as well as take part in games and competitions held during the festival," Thawatchai explained.
"Wow, it seems very exciting," Emily looked very interested in joining the festival.
Suddenly, Daniel looked at Emily with a look in his eyes that was very difficult to interpret.
"Sorry, sir. I'm just interested. I meant nothing by it," Emily said, bowing her head. She realized that the purpose of her trip this time was for business, not for vacation.
"Well, we'll go see the festival tomorrow," Daniel said suddenly, making Emily stare at him in disbelief. Throughout the trip, Emily couldn't stop smiling because Daniel had agreed for her to go to the festival.
After arriving at the hotel, Emily was still excited that she could finally enjoy her free time in Thailand, even if it was just to see the festival.
"Thank you, sir," Emily said as they waited in front of the elevator.
"What?" asked Daniel in a cold tone.
"Thank you for going to the festival tomorrow," Emily said with gratitude.
"Why are you thanking me?" asked Daniel, wrinkling his forehead in confusion, then entered the elevator that had opened, followed by Emily.
"I thought you were going because of me," Emily replied shyly.
"Of course not. I was just curious about the festival," Daniel replied.
Emily felt embarrassed because she had mistakenly thought that Daniel wanted to go to the festival because of her. When the elevator chimed, they finally reached the floor of the room they wanted to go to. They separated to go into their respective rooms.

The next day, Daniel arrived in the meeting room with his team of key executives from his company. They had all prepared presentations and relevant materials for this meeting. Daniel sat at the end of the table, with Emily, his secretary, sitting next to him.
Daniel's business partner, Mr. Anuwat Sombat, was also present in the room. Mr. Anuwat is an experienced and reputable man in the Thai business world. He sat on the other side of the table, a friendly smile on his face.
"Good morning, Mr. Anuwat," Daniel greeted, extending his hand. "I am very pleased to meet you today. We are very excited to forge a strong and mutually beneficial partnership with your company."
Mr. Anuwat accepted Daniel's hand with great friendliness. "Good morning, Mr. Daniel. Thank you for this opportunity. We also look forward to a successful partnership with your company. We have carefully studied the presentation and proposal that you have sent us."
The meeting continued with intense discussions between Daniel, his team, and his business partner. Productive dialog and collaboration took place between both parties to reach a mutually beneficial agreement. After agreeing, they then signed a cooperation contract agreement. A standing ovation greeted the cooperation between the two big companies.

After nightfall, Emily's heart was beating slightly because they were going to attend the festival. She put a little makeup on her face to perfect her appearance tonight. Suddenly, there was a knock on her hotel room door from outside. When he opened the door, he could see Daniel standing in front of him right now.
"Are you ready?" Daniel asked.
"Yes, sir," Emily replied.
Daniel walked at a brisk pace, as he always did, and Emily tried to keep up with him. Emily's face radiated unstoppable happiness and enthusiasm. When they finally arrived at the lobby, Thawatchai was waiting with a cheerful smile on his face, welcoming them.
"Wow, you two are wearing the same color clothes. You look like a couple, hahaha!" Thawatchai said with a giggle, unknowingly making Emily feel nervous and panicked.
Emily just realized that she and Daniel were wearing the same white shirt. But Thawatchai's laughter instantly disappeared when she saw Daniel's cold, cynical stare.
"Umm, I'm sorry, sir. I'm too excited today," Thawatchai said politely. "Come on, I'll take you to your destination."
The three of them walked to the car waiting in the parking lot. Emily looked very enthusiastic, as she had not had the chance to explore the beauty of the city during her time in Thailand.
Their car soon left the hotel, taking them to their long-awaited destination, the Loy Krathong Festival. Emily sat in the car with her eyes full of admiration, enjoying the stunning night view of Thailand. The glittering lights of the tall buildings and colorful street lamps created a magical atmosphere that was hard to forget.
As they strolled through the Thai cityscape, Thawatchai excitedly explained various interesting things about the places they passed. He gave in-depth explanations about the history, culture, and uniqueness of each place they passed.
In contrast to Emily, who was full of enthusiasm to hear Thawatchai's explanation, Daniel looked calm, with a slightly cold stature. Although behind his calm expression, he was still enjoying the beauty of the city.
After a few hours of traveling filled with excitement and beauty, they finally arrived at their destination, the Loy Krathong Festival. The festival is held near the Chao Phraya River, one of the largest rivers in Thailand.
"We've finally arrived!" said Thawatchai with a smile.
"We've arrived, haven't we?" asked Emily with sparkling eyes.
Emily and Daniel stepped together among the crowds of people crowding the banks of the Chao Phraya river. Emily felt her heart flutter when she saw the crowds attending the festival. Her face was filled with joy that radiated from her eyes, as if all the workload that had accumulated over the years had vanished in an instant.
The Chao Phraya River reflects the light, creating a dazzling sparkle. Rows of food stalls with the distinctive aroma of Thai food tantalized Emily's senses, making her stomach feel hungry.
"Sir, how about we eat first?" Emily asked excitedly.
"Mmm," Daniel nodded in agreement.
"What would you like to eat?" asked Emily with interest.
"Whatever you want," Daniel said simply.
Emily pondered for a moment, watching each food stall carefully. Her eyes were drawn to a small stall that looked simple, yet attractive. There, a young woman was kindly welcoming customers.
"Let's try the food at that stall, sir," Emily said as she pointed to the stall.
Daniel just nodded in agreement. Being too enthusiastic, Emily didn't realize that someone was running towards her.
"Look out!" Daniel shouted.
