Emily was surprised, afraid that Daniel had heard her voice. But she was relieved when she realized Daniel had taken out the earphones that were in his ears.

Fortunately, he didn't hear what I said earlier, Emily thought with a sigh of relief.

"You're really annoying me, Em," Daniel said, in a snappy tone.

Did he hear what I just said? Didn't he have earphones in his ears? Can he still hear what I'm saying? Emily wondered.

"What do you mean, sir?" asked Emily, confused by Daniel's meaning.

"Your snoring," Daniel replied sarcastically, his eyes glaring at Emily.

Daniel's short answer made Emily have to think a few times to digest what she had just heard. "Do I snore?!!" asked Emily in a raised tone, shocked, realizing that she had embarrassed herself in front of her boss. But a second later, she quickly shut her mouth when she saw people were noticing them.

"I can still hear you, Emily," Daniel said in a voice full of annoyance.

"So-sorry, sir. I-I didn't mean to yell. I was just surprised, sir. I'm sorry, sir. Maybe it's because I'm too tired, that's why I snore. I'm rarely like that, sir. I'm sorry, sir," Emily explained at length while apologizing that her presence had disturbed her superior's comfort.

Daniel massaged his furrowed mid-brow. He was very upset with Emily, but was trying to calm himself down.

Emily felt a huge burden for making her boss angry. "I'm sorry, sir," she muttered under her breath.

After several long hours, they finally reached their destination, Thailand. Warm air greeted them as they stepped out of the plane. When Daniel and Emily disembarked at the airport, a typical Thai atmosphere greeted them. Daniel walked confidently with his neat suit and stride. Meanwhile, Emily seemed to walk rather quickly behind Daniel, trying to keep up with the fast pace of her boss.

As they walked towards the arrival area, a man approached them with a friendly smile. His face radiated warmth and Thai hospitality.

"Are you Mr. Daniel Winston from the global distribution company?" the man asked in fluent English.

"Yes, I am Daniel Winston," Daniel replied with a friendly smile.

"Hello, I am Thawatchai, the travel agent who will assist you during your visit here," Thawatchai said politely as he extended his hand to shake Daniel's. Daniel accepted, and they shook hands.

Emily greeted Thawatchai with a bright smile, relieved that they had someone who would help them during their business visit to Thailand. After exchanging introductions, the three of them headed to the baggage claim area to collect their luggage.

On the way to the hotel, Thawatchai enthusiastically shared valuable information about Thai culture that would help them on their trip. Daniel and Emily listened attentively.

Upon arriving at a five-star hotel on the banks of the Chao Phraya River, a breathtaking view from its elegant lobby greeted them. The classic decor and luxurious feel reflected the elegance of Thai culture. The friendly and professional staff were ready to serve them with warm smiles, creating an inviting atmosphere of comfort and warmth.

Emily could not hide her amazement at the beauty of the hotel. Her eyes were open in disbelief, transfixed by the beauty and luxury of her surroundings. This was her first time staying in a five-star hotel. She felt like she was in a whole new world, where beauty and luxury came together in one place.

Thawatchai, being a considerate travel agent, helped Emily and Daniel with the hotel check-in process. He made sure that everything went smoothly and without a hitch. Once the check-in process was complete, the hotel bellhop kindly helped Daniel and Emily with their suitcases, ensuring that they felt well taken care of.

With warm smiles, the hotel staff ushered Emily and Daniel into their very special room. Daniel, as the main guest, was assigned the most luxurious and expensive room in the hotel, 'The Royal Suite'. When the door opened, a luxurious and elegant atmosphere greeted Daniel. The spacious living room was adorned with luxurious furniture, such as a plush sofa that was stylish and gave a touch of elegance.

Not only that, but the Royal Suite also has a private terrace that offers stunning views. There are comfortable lounge chairs, where guests can sit and enjoy the view of the sparkling city at night, or absorb the serenity of the Chao Phraya river flowing calmly during the day.

Meanwhile, Emily was assigned a room that was smaller than the Royal Suite. However, when Emily entered her room, she could not hide her amazement. She stood in the center of the room, letting the beauty and luxury of her surroundings possess her heart. Without hesitation, Emily threw her body happily onto the cozy bed. She felt very lucky and grateful for having the rare opportunity to enjoy such excellent five-star hotel facilities.

Emily took out her cell phone with enthusiasm. With the new SIM card she had just bought at the airport, she immediately selected her father Fred's number to make a video call. Her heart was pounding as she couldn't wait to show him the beauty of her current luxury room and tell him she had safely arrived in Thailand.

After a few seconds, Fred's face appeared on Emily's phone screen. Fred's eyes were full of joy at the sight of his overseas daughter. "Hello, dear! How was the trip?" asked Fred in a warm voice.

Emily, with a big smile, replied, "Hello, Dad! The trip went smoothly and I've arrived in Thailand. You won't believe how beautiful the hotel room is!"

Excitedly, Emily turned the camera off her cell phone and showed the beauty of the spacious living room, with luxurious furniture and elegant atmosphere. The breathtaking view mesmerized her father through the large windows that stretched from the ceiling to the floor.

"Wow, Emily, your room is absolutely marvelous! I'm so happy to see you having such a wonderful experience there," Fred said.

Emily felt warm at heart hearing her father's words. She felt lucky to have a father who cared so much and supported her in every step of her life. "Thank you, Dad. I'm glad I could share this moment with you. I hope someday we can visit beautiful places like this together."

The two of them continued to chat happily, sharing stories and laughter. Emily was happy to be in touch with her father, despite being in a distant country.

"By the way, where's your boss?" asked Fred curiously.

"What does Dad mean? Of course, he's in his room right now," Emily replied.

"You're not in the same room, are you?" asked Fred with the worry typical of a protective father.

"Of course not. We sleep in two different rooms. Dad, don't always think badly of me."

"Where's the company team he told you about? Are they staying at the same hotel as you?" asked Fred.

"No, they're staying at a different hotel," Emily replied.

"So you two are the only ones staying at the same hotel?" asked Fred again.

"Dad, take it easy. Even if we're both stranded on an uninhabited island, he'll never see me as a woman. So, Dad doesn't have to worry about it," Emily explained with confidence.

Suddenly, the door to Emily's room felt like it was being knocked on from outside.

"That's it, Dad. I'll call you back later," Emily said quickly. Without waiting for an answer from her father, Emily hung up the phone.

When Emily opened the door to her hotel, she looked surprised to see Daniel in front of her. The man had changed his clothes into something more casual, wearing a T-shirt and jeans.

"What's isir?" asked Emily in astonishment.

"Let's eat!" said Daniel.

"You didn't change your clothes?" asked Daniel when he noticed Emily was still wearing the same clothes from the plane. Emily felt a little embarrassed that she forgot to change her clothes because she was busy calling Fred.

Emily smiled, embarrassed. "It's okay, sir. I'll just keep wearing these clothes," she replied, not wanting to make Daniel wait any longer because she had to change.

Without another word, Daniel immediately turned around and led the way with firm steps. Emily followed carefully behind. However, Daniel's steps suddenly stopped, causing Emily to bump into his back.

"Ow!" Emily screeched in pain as Daniel's burly body slightly hit her nose.

"Are you my bodyguard now?" asked Daniel when he saw Emily walking behind him.

"So-sorry, sir," Emily replied with an embarrassed smile, then walked beside Daniel. After that, they walked back. Daniel's footsteps were so fast that Emily had a little trouble keeping up.

Finally, they arrived in front of the elevator. Daniel crossed his arms in front of his chest, waiting patiently for the elevator doors to open. Once the doors opened, Daniel took wide steps inside, followed by Emily. When they reached the bottom floor, Daniel continued his journey with wide strides, leaving Emily far behind him.

"He walks quick. If I walk behind him, he gets angry again. But I can hardly keep up with his pace," Emily grumbled.

"God, why do I have to be stuck with an arrogant and cold man like him?" muttered Emily.

"What are you doing there?" Daniel's voice broke from Emily's reverie.
