[Alessia’s Point of View]

The final day of our vacation, or as we like to call it, our "honeymoon," has arrived. Blade and I decided to take some time apart and enjoy our own company while on this beautiful island.

The view is breathtaking, the gentle breeze is soothing, and as I relax on the beach chair under the umbrella, I can't help but feel completely at ease. I want nothing more than to savor this moment, free from any distractions, especially work. Tomorrow, reality will kick in again, so I must make the most of today.

Feeling the need to treat myself, I decided to head to the spa for a massage. I doubt I'll have the chance to do this again anytime soon, unless there's another vacation on the horizon. Blade is aware that he doesn't have access to my villa, as I scrolled through the photos I took, contemplating selling them online.

After posting the pictures for potential buyers to see, I entered the spa, ready to indulge in some much-needed relaxation. As I approached the reception desk, the attendant greeted me.

"How can I assist you today, ma'am?"

I simply smiled.

"I'd like a full body massage, mani-pedis, and a seaweed scrub, please."

These are treatments I rarely indulge in, so I figured, why not give them a try.

"Right this way, Miss."

I followed her into a room where I changed into a robe and stored my belongings in a locker. Once ready, I proceeded to another room where a therapist was waiting to pamper me.

"I adore this lifestyle." I gasped with pleasure,

I needed some time alone, and I knew she appreciated it too. However, instead of isolating myself, I decided to hang around nearby so I could still watch her. I was on a floating bridge by the sea, observing her every move.

Alessia was unaware of my presence, as I had informed her that I would be fixing something close by, to which she had agreed.

She was easy to get along with, but I couldn't shake off thoughts of Kycine and what had transpired between us. I needed some time to myself as well. Just then, my phone rang, displaying an unknown number.

“Speak to me,” I answered.

"Hey, I was just wondering how you're doing," the voice on the other end said.

As I gently stroked my forehead, I recognized the voice as Kycine's. even though our relationship had ended, she still lingered in my thoughts until I met Alessia. Unsure of what to say, I abruptly ended the call.

"I know you'll be fine. Say hi to Uncle and Auntie for me," she said with a hint of laughter.

"Please stop. Given our current circumstances, I think it's best if you keep your distance from now on," I replied.

I could sense the sadness in her frown, a feeling that resonated with me deeply. My parents had never approved of our relationship, never wanted to be involved in what she and I had built since our college days.

I couldn't quite understand why they disliked her so much, not even a little bit. But instead of keeping it a secret, I decided to go along with their wishes and told them that I had cut ties with Kycine for good. All this, just before I was set to take over my father's position as CEO.

Kycine, she's just an ordinary girl. Sure, she has a higher IQ, but she doesn't come from a wealthy background. Perhaps that's why my parents have reservations about us being together, especially after that one incident where they thought she was using me for money.

"Alright, I have to go," she said as she turned off my phone. "I know things have changed since then, but Kycine never gave up. I'm only doing this to clear my name. I can't believe it has come to the point where we need to consider marriage, but I can't afford to ignore this news."

Maybe, just maybe, after all of this is over, I can finally marry Kycine. I'm sure she would understand. I tossed my phone onto the bed and made my way out through the sliding door, ready to dive into the crystal-clear water. As I floated, I allowed my mind to drift away, carrying all the conflicts with it.

Once I was thoroughly soaked, I climbed onto the mini deck of the floating room I had purchased and dried myself off. I took off my shorts and wrapped a towel around my lower body when suddenly, my phone rang. It was a notification from Alessia.

"She's selling her villa!?!"

As the night ended, I completed my appointment. Surprisingly, I wasn't feeling hungry because they insisted on providing me with food, free of charge. However, I politely offered to pay, knowing that they must be exhausted. I even promised to give them a tip if they refused my payment.

Afterwards, I decided to walk back to the villa to sort out my belongings. I knew we would be returning early in the morning. Approaching the front door, I noticed the lights were on, giving the impression that Blade was inside. The delicious aroma wafting through the air hinted that he was cooking. Without hesitation, I entered without knocking and found Blade shirtless, engrossed in his culinary creation.

I didn't mind his casual attire or his lack of attention towards me. I simply made my way to the bedroom to organize my things. Once everything was neatly packed in my bags, Blade surprised me by suddenly pushing me onto the bed.

Confused, I looked at him and felt his grip on my wrist tighten.

"Blade - it hurts," I exclaimed, hoping he would release his grip.

He continued to stare at me, and then unexpectedly spoke up.

"I know you're considering selling this villa, but please don't. It holds sentimental value," he said, tossing me a catalog filled with luxurious villas, some with exorbitant price tags.

Perplexed, I questioned, "What does this have to do with the idea of me selling this villa?"

He remained silent, his hand now in his pocket.

"Choose one from there and let me know over dinner. Money is not a concern; just pick one," he declared.

I was left speechless, my mouth hanging open at his unexpected proposition.

"Don't sell it; it's a place filled with memories. If you don't sell, I'll buy you another one," he concluded, leaving me utterly bewildered.
