ZEUS
It's been a week, and I'm still here, eagerly waiting for someone to free me up. I sit on the golden couch, elbows leaning on the table, while my chin rests on both of my hands.
Boredom kills, and it really sucks.
I thought it could kill me at any moment.
"I want to die now. What's the point of living anyway if I couldn't enjoy my life?" I mutter as I stare outside.
The clouds are crying again. Woah. Damn. It's raining again. Maybe someone is really sad today that it even made the clouds cry and rain a lot of tears.
Okay. Let me see. That someone must be close enough here in this place.
As I'm still in that position, boringly watching the rain outside, I see someone crying.
A girl wearing a black hoodie jacket. It looks like she's still at a very young age. She has hazel brown eyes that somehow look familiar.
She's at the lake in front of the bottle where I’m staying. I give it time to watch her silently. The young lady is sitting on a rock, while I'm literally in this golden bottle floating on the lake.
I don't have any idea why she keeps looking down, biting her lips, then will suddenly look up. I think she's kind of playing that nodding-biting-lips-game. It makes me feel dizzy watching her doing those things over and over again.
She's holding two flowers. Then she throws them on the lake saying, "For you guys. I miss you both so much." Then she sits back on the giant rock.
"Who is she talking about?" I say to myself. I look around to see if there are two more people on the lake.
Ah yeah. I nod while gently pinching my chin.
I am such an idiot.
How could a powerful guardian lose his common sense?
I stare back at her, still watching and listening to her rants.
"I'm tired. I am really, really tired of everything," she says. It seems like she's about to cry but she manages to save her tears by biting her lower lip.
I try to answer even if she will never hear me, "Tired of what?" I ask.
"I'm tired of everything. Why do I have to live like this?" She speaks to the wind. She picks up something from her bag. Looks like an envelope or something.
"Well. I envy you for being normal," I say.
"Dad. Look. I got the highest honor. I can finally go to college," she says while smiling. Then she suddenly looks down. She bites her lips again, trying to stop herself from crying. "My graduation is real soon. Who's going to escort me?" She adds.
"Probably your dad," I say while nodding.
She suddenly looks up and stares at the sky, "You left me real quick. You are so mean."
Oops.
I apologize. I shouldn't talk back again. I didn't know why I keep on answering when I'm not in the right position to do so.
She is really miserable. I can feel it now. I can see the sorrow in her eyes. I have never had that kind of problem, I guess. All I've been worrying about for the past few years is how will I escape from this damn bottle. I never thought that someone would have bigger problems than mine.
I somehow felt that I do care when someone is having a big trouble in their lives, but there's a certain part of my mind saying that I don't have any care for anyone. Lol. I guess the biggest problem here is none other than me.
It's kinda confusing.
I was about to go somewhere; I even started to navigate my bottle when the girl suddenly says, "Woah. Is that a golden bottle?" She gently wipes both of her eyes and shouts, "Oh my...that really is a golden bottle!"
Damn.
Did I hear it right? The bottle will only be visible to the eyes of a certain someone, which will be my master. I was about to look at her and see her face when the crystal necklace suddenly shone, making my eyes close for a while.
The moment I opened both of my eyes.
"Where am I?" I say as I look around.
I'm standing at the front of the lake. Trying to remember what just happened before.
Right.
That woman.
Where did she go?
I try to find her and search for her. But I fail. She has the ability to see this golden bottle, and she sets me free. She really is my master, and I need to find her.
A few minutes later, I go back in front of the lake, and then I sit on a big rock where the woman sat a while ago. Wearing my gloves, I pick up the crystal necklace from my pocket. The moment I lift it up, I see it change.
The crystal necklace was white since the voice gave it to me. But it changed.
"Why did the color change to blue?" I ask myself.
I don't know exactly what's happening. Every time I feel like I'm almost close to my happiness, something really confusing comes up. Woah. This is really unacceptable. Why do things like this always happen? Did it really have something to do with my past? What exactly happened before?
I wish I could remember everything. From the day that I was born, up to now.
I wish I could grant my own wish, so that I would never feel like this. I'm drowned in deep thoughts and lots of confusing events and questions.
I stand up and decide to walk. While on my way, I can't stop thinking about that young lady.
"Where did you go, master?"

❝This is fine.❞ I said to the old man. I'm currently buying a house so I could have a place to stay while looking for my runaway master.
I ended up buying a simple house near the lake. At first sight, you can define it simply, but when you are already inside this house, you will see stairs, which will lead you down to the underground place where the perfection begins.
Some rooms are elevated but not that high.
Everything about this house is perfectly fine, including the garden, the living room, and the kitchen.
❝Let's make a few little changes. ❞ I said to myself.
I did some magic that will hide the underground place. Well, I want that place to be private, and only those people who have my supervision will be allowed to see it.
I went to the underground place after I finished organizing everything. I sat on my golden couch, facing my golden table, where the crystal necklace is leaning.
I noticed that the brightness of the necklace suddenly fades a little bit. It used to shine so bright that I couldn't even stare at it for a very long time, but now, it seems different.
What should I do about it? Should I worry?
I do have this kind of thought that maybe the crystal would never shine the same as before because I lost my master. Maybe my tasks are considered failed now.
It can't be.
Maybe there is another reason why it fades all of a sudden. Maybe I have to do something to bring back the shine it had before.
A few minutes later, I decided to take a walk outside, bringing the necklace with me. While passing by the bridge over the lake, I decided to go to the forest. Maybe when I get there, I will be able to think about everything properly.
Reaching the forest didn't take a long time. Not longer than a few minutes, I'm finally here. I walked straight to the big tree while looking around. And then the moment I reached it, I sat beside the tree and leaned on it.
❝No place would be more peaceful than this forest.❞ I said, then I smiled a bit. ❝Ah. It feels so good to be here.❞ I added as I put both of my hands at the back of my head, leaning on it.
My face is slightly facing the sunlight shining through the small spaces of the leaves.
At that moment, I was lying down on the branch of the tree, with my eyes closed. The fresh air continuously gives me peace.
I suddenly heard a couple of footsteps crashing the dry leaves on the ground.
I stood up and tried to take a peek of who that person was. Then a few seconds after, I saw a man coming towards the big tree where I'm standing.
He put his hand on the tree and made it bloom.
He made the big tree even more attractive than it was a moment before.
I was thinking about doing that too, but since he already did it first-- wait. How come he did that?
We can both make a tree bloom.
He does have a magic power similar to mine.
I decided to vanish and appear at his back, the moment he turned around, he saw me.
❝Who are you?❞ I curiously asked.
He is currently staring at me with very unexplained expressions written on his face.
Maybe he is kind of surprised.
❝How did you do something like that? What are you?❞ I said while pointing at the wonderful big tree.
He looked back at the tree, trying to see what I'm actually talking about. He's also surprised, maybe he never thought that he would accidentally reveal his powers in front of others.
He looked down thinking about something, I guess. He cleared his throat, as he stared back at me. ❝My name is Dionysus, and I am a guardian.❞
