Chapter 25
Giovanni Pov
After jhenny left the mansion, bella went to the kitchen to eat breakfast. I followed him to talk to him about what happened and what he thought about what he saw earlier.
Because grandpa and nanny glor are gone now. Only a few maids were with us who were now busy cleaning the pool. Someone had breakfast ready for us before nanny glor left to buy some stocks at home.
"Shouldn't we eat together?" bella was now sitting while taking food from the table when I entered. It looked like there was no problem with him earlier, but I couldn't help but think about something.
"I already ate." I answer her before I pull the chair on her side. I sat there watching him get something to eat.
"Did you eat with your girl earlier?" I stared at her because of that question. Does he think we went together? Is it that a big deal for her?
"No, she just invited me tonight. But I didn't agree."
"Inviting?"
I nodded. "He wanted me to join him for dinner tonight. But I refused."
He nodded twice as if he understood what I said. "Is that your girlfriend too?" my mouth parted for her second question again.
Damn. I've never had a girlfriend since before. But when I met bella, my world suddenly revolved around her.
"Of course not, bella. You're my only girlfriend." her lips form a beautiful smile after i said that.
"Why does he say you have a secret? What is your secret?"
"Isn't that important, bella. And I don't like her. I don't want any other girl."
She nodded while looking at me. "Why don't you like other girls? I'm the only one you like?" I stopped for a second while they were starring each other. I didn't expect that she'll go to ask this.
"I just don't want another girl, I just want a unique one like you. I don't want someone similar."
"Are you saying I'm weird?" I nodded while smiling. I realize that bella is very important to me, as if suddenly my life changed. I don't want to hangout with other girls anymore, it's like my system is saying that only bella is enough for me.
This is really ridiculous.
"Your a precious one like a gem. No one can match it."
His brow furrowed as if what I said confused him. "So that's just your friend?"
"Yes, bella." i lied at her because i can't admit that jhenny is one of my flings. I don't want to say that, I don't want to share my past before because he might not like me anymore, he might turn his attention to others.
And that's the thing that I won't happen.
"He's your friend, but why did you reject him?"
I sighed before crossing my arms. "I don't want to talk about him anymore. Just eat, aren't we going to church now?"
"I know, that's why I got dressed. I'm just going to finish my meal."
I did not respond to what he said. I let him eat while I just watched until he finished.
"Grandpa and I used to go to church here, I thought I would never be able to come back here." I looked at him after he said that. After an hour we already reached the church. We were in the middle where the mass had started earlier.
"Just listen, bella. Don't speak." I didn't look at her, but I know she's pouting her lips based on my vision. He kept looking behind because the singers were there. His eyes are spinning and none of his focus is on the person speaking in front of him.
"Can I sit here?" Because there is still space next to it. A man has already gone there to ask bella if he can sit there.
Bella nodded in agreement. Since we were in church, I couldn't be that bad even though I knew they were next to each other.
I'm a little worried about the guy next to her because he keeps glancing at Bella. Well, everyone caught her attention. I think everyone who sees it will really praise him.
She looks stunning on her dress, she is even more beautiful because she tied her hair which is very suitable for her style.
I think I was not in a good mood for almost the whole mass. My head just got hotter because when we were holding hands, the man did the same thing to bella. I was the one who couldn't focus properly.
"Hey miss." We were about to leave the church but Bella suddenly stopped to look at the man who called her.
And when I saw that guy, it was that guy that I already hated.
"May I know your name?"
"My name?" I struggled with Bella's question. He's really going to talk to this guy right in front of me?
"Yes, may I know your name?"
"My name is Belinda." the young man smiled at bella's answer.
"Your name is beautiful, just as beautiful as you are."
"Really? Gio gave me my name."
"Gio?" bella nodded before pointing at me.
"He is Gio." he smiled at me but I just raised an eyebrow at him. "Uncle brother gio."
"Oh, he's your uncle?" bella nodded. "Nice meeting you, sir. I just want to know her name."
"I'm not happy to see you, just don't talk to her." I grabbed bella's hand to pull her out of there. I know I was rude in that part but I don't care what that guy thinks.
"Why are you talking to him?" He blinked twice after I propped him against the car door.
"Is it forbidden?"
"I already told you, bella. I don't want you talking to any man!"
"You didn't say anything like that, gio. You said that I shouldn't have a boyfriend with someone else."
My forehead furrowed slightly because of what he said. Is that what I said?
"It's the same, bella. I know that guy likes you, that's why he's talking to you!"
"He didn't say anything, he just asked my name."
"That's where it all starts, he'll ask for your name so he can search for it on facebook. When that happens, he'll send you a message!"
"Kaloy said I can't accept someone I don't know on Facebook."
I sighed. "It's the same in person, if you don't know someone. Don't talk to them."
"How can I get to know him if I don't talk to him?"
I washed my face. "That depends bella! Just follow what i'd said!"
He snorted before looking away. "And what did you introduce me before? Uncle? Big brother?"
"You said because I shouldn't tell others that you're my boyfriend. That's why I said that." I closed my eyes before biting my lip. I also stroked my hair before making out in front of him.
"You have a point, but if you didn't know them. Just tell them that I am your boyfriend."
"If I don't know them?" I nodded.
"Yes, don't talk to someone you don't know again, is that clear?" he looked down before nodding.
"Yes." I sighed before nodding my head.
"Let's go, we're going to the mall."
He looked up at me and I saw that his expression had changed.
"Shall we go for a walk?" I nodded.
"Don't be stubborn, just follow what I say." he quickly agreed before I opened the door. He was smiling as he entered there until I sat next to him.
But her sit didn't have a nice view. Her skirt was too short to cause her legs to show more upper.
"Fixed your sit, bella. Close your dvmn legs." he looked at me as I started the engine.
"Are you still mad?"
"I'm not angry." i face her after i said that. But I can't avoid her legs because I admit that part is my weakness. Every part of her is losing my sanity and strength.
"Then why are you cursing my legs?"
I blinked because of what he said, if I could curse that to satisfy me I would have done it. But instead of being annoyed, his reaction made me laugh.
"Adjust your seat so I can't see your legs."
I continued driving after saying that. He followed my order so I won't have any more problems.
Because it's a week now and there's no work. I decided to take bella for a walk so she wouldn't tell me that she was always at home.
It only took us half an hour to reach the mall. There was quite a bit of traffic where we passed, so we spent a lot of time on the highway. But it was obvious that this guy with me was not bored because he just kept looking at what we were going through.
"I like that." I looked where it was pointing and there I saw the teddy bear in a stall. The only thing is not buying that, there's a game in there where you have to hit a standing toy to win it.
"I don't know how to use a gun, bella."
"Gun?"
"I need to knock that toy down to get the teddy bear, but I don't know how to shoot. I'll just buy you."
He snorted and shook his head a few times. "I want that teddy bear!"
I sighed before stroking my hair. "Fine, I'll try it." because he wants to get it. We went over there to actually try the game, but no matter how hard I tried I couldn't really hit the toy. I just ran out of patience until I gave up.
"I don't want to!" I put the gun down because I almost missed it. I also held his hand to take him away from that place. It's embarrassing for the girls watching me as if they expect me to win it.
"I'll just buy you new clothes, whatever you want. Anything." he nodded at what I said, but it was obvious that he was forced by my suggestion but I didn't pay attention to that because he would surely have fun later.
"This is the dress you like right? Do you want another dress?"
He shook his head. "It's just this, it's too many. I might not be able to wear them all."
"Then what do you want to buy next?"
He thought for a moment before answering me. "I want new books."
"Sure, we were going to buy a new book."
As he likes, we went to the books to buy new things for him to read. That's not beyond the pale because bella isn't too extravagant with things like that. Even though he knows I will give him what he wants, he is not that trained. It's like he's just satisfied with what he has and what we gave him.
"Don't you have anything else you want to buy? Maybe you want food, snacks?" He shook his head at my question. It's as if something is missing in him now because his mood suddenly changed.
I held my breath because of that thought. It's like I have an idea why he's acting like this.
"Let's go to the ice cream parlor before going home, would you like?" It just nodded again to my question. Because of that, I led him to the said place to go and immediately ordered ice cream for us. While he was eating, I said goodbye for a while to go to the bathroom to do something for a while.
But the truth is that I never went there. I lost almost ten minutes before I returned it to his place. The two ice creams I ordered for him are almost gone.
He looked up at me and immediately his eyes landed on the thing I was holding.
"Wow! You got it, gio!" he stood up to come to me. He quickly took the teddy bear from me and immediately hugged it tightly.
"Are you happy now?"
He smiled at me. "Did you knock over the toy?"
"Yes." that's my answer even though the truth is that it's not true anymore. I just paid the man a lot of money to give it to me. Since bella wanted it, I took it without joining the game.
"Gio is great! He got you, because then I'm going to take you home!" I'm glad to see that bella is happy now. Even when we left the mall, he almost couldn't give me the teddy bear that he really hugged until we got to the car.
"Since gio got you, what I'm going to call you now is van, baby van!" I looked at it with almost a frown on my face.
"Where did you get that van?"
He smiled at me before answering. "By your name, you are gio and this is van, giovanni!"
I just shook my head because of his thought. But deep inside I am happy even with such a simple thing.
