Their teacher entered for their second subject, Charmer. This subject was where they would train their powers. Blaire's eyes turned purple again.

"In my call, come to the front to show your powers," their teacher instructed. Blaire's classmates eagerly nodded, smiling as they were eager to showcase their abilities.

"Trenety Costinies," the teacher called a female classmate. She promptly went to the front with a wide grin.

She closed her eyes, and soon bubbles emerged from her hands. She opened her eyes with a smile on her lips. She controlled one bubble towards a classmate and immediately trapped them inside.

"Let me out of here!" the trapped classmate shouted in fear while floating in the air. She released them, and they fell to the ground.

Everyone applauded except Blaire, who remained quiet. The teacher called on Blaire's classmates one after another. One classmate released exploding black roses with poisonous thorns. Another levitated objects. Another turned into a panda, and another multiplied, and so on.

"Aubrey Tsaves," the teacher called Aubrey. She looked at Blaire as if waiting for something. Blaire just nodded, but Aubrey still gave her a smile. She went to the front and closed her eyes.

All of their classmates straightened up as lightning and thunder struck outside. They gasped as Aubrey's eyes turned white.

"Impressive! Okay, that’s enough," the teacher commented, applauding. Aubrey returned to Blaire's side with a smile and immediately turned to Blaire with a scrutinizing look.

"You're not going to say anything?" Aubrey asked teasingly, with a hint of sadness in her eyes. Blaire looked at her, her eyes now blue. Aubrey was taken aback because Blaire seemed to be on the verge of tears, although she was still surprised by the change in her eyes.

"Oh no! Why do you look like you're about to cry? Omg, I'm sorry, I'm not mad, okay?" Aubrey said in a panic. She didn't know that Blaire always had empathy, but even she was confused about herself. Whenever Blaire looked into the eyes of people who were happy, sad, cold, crying, or angry, she would also feel their emotions.

"Calm down," Blaire said, her eyes seeming to well up with tears. Aubrey quickly followed her advice, and Blaire's eyes gradually returned to purple, and she calmed down as well.

Aubrey breathed a sigh of relief when she saw that Blaire had calmed down completely. She shook her head because she didn't expect that from Blaire.

"Blaire Peachthrees Mackenzie." Blaire stood up when the teacher called her name. She wondered why the teacher didn't say her full name, maybe they were just lazy.

"Good luck, Snow," Aubrey added.

Blaire went to the front and immediately conjured an ice ball without closing her eyes because she was familiar with her power. The teacher applauded, and Blaire returned to her seat.

"Yieee! You're amazing, Snow," Aubrey praised. Blaire didn't pay attention to her seatmate's chatter, fearing she might be affected by it.

The teacher continued calling on their classmates who hadn't been called yet until the class ended.

"Snow, let's go. I'm hungry," Aubrey invited her. Blaire simply stood up and started walking.

As they walked, some students still ogled at Blaire. "Wow, she's really like a goddess," her companion exclaimed. Blaire walked as if no one else was around her, while Aubrey kept chatting away.

When they reached the cafeteria, Aubrey quickly scanned the area and spotted an empty long table. She pulled Blaire towards it and sat her down.

"Just wait there, I'll get our food," she instructed Blaire, who didn't respond.

Blaire felt someone approaching her. She kept her gaze on the table, not looking at them. They sat down in front of her and beside her. She was puzzled by their presence, so she looked up, but that was a mistake. She locked eyes with Lucy, who was grinning at her. Blaire thought smiling was a mistake because she wasn't used to it. Her eyes turned green this time.

The Royalties' eyes sparkled as Blaire grinned widely, showing her dimples. Other students dropped their spoons and forks and began to comment in amazement because they also saw Blaire smiling.

"Oh, uh, ahm… Snow, here's your food," Aubrey said, trying to cover up her surprise. Blaire glanced at Aubrey with a smile on her lips. Aubrey was surprised because she had never seen her friend smile before, so she couldn't help but smile too.

"Eeeiii! You're so cute," Sophie exclaimed, pinching Blaire's cheeks. Blaire's eyes widened with nervousness as she realized what she had done, but she quickly relaxed when she saw that Blaire was still smiling.

Aubrey sat down next to Blaire and placed their food on the table.

"Hi! You're probably Blaire's friend, right?" Lucy asked with a smile.

"Yes, yes, she's my friend. This is Aubrey Tsaves, 18 years old, and a thunderbolt user. Aubrey, meet Lucy, Scarllet, Sophie, Alexis, Kade, Acel, Miles, and Parker," Blaire enthusiastically introduced to Aubrey, causing their lips to curl into smiles.

"I wish she'd always be like that," Parker whispered, but Blaire didn't pay him any attention.

"Hi!" the Royalties greeted Aubrey simultaneously.

"Um... Hello," Aubrey replied shyly, managing a smile.

"Don't be shy, because from now on, we're friends," Lucy said warmly. Aubrey smiled broadly, and Blaire especially.

"Gosh, Blaire, you're so cute!" Scarlett praised. They furrowed their brows when Blaire's eyes suddenly changed. They returned to purple as her emotions shifted to coldness.

They glanced to the side and saw Chaos standing with no emotion. He sat beside the guys and started eating.

"Oh," Lucy exclaimed. They were confused by Blaire's sudden change in emotion.

"Let's eat," Sophie invited, and everyone started eating.

"Aubrey, are you and Blaire dormmates?" Scarlett asked Aubrey while chewing.

"Yeah, we're dormmates," Aubrey answered with a smile, while Blaire remained silent, eating quietly.

"I'm moving in with you guys," Lucy interjected, now everyone's attention was on her, except for the two stones.

"Why?" Alexis asked bluntly.

"Well, hehehe... Because Blaire's there," Lucy replied.

"Stupid, you can't do that," Scarlett disagreed. Lucy just shrugged and looked at Blaire. "Too bad," she muttered softly.

"Hey, Kade! Stop staring at Blaire! She'll melt!" Sophie teased Kade, who had been staring at Blaire earlier, but now she was silent and unresponsive to those around her.

"Tss, just say you're jealous," Kade retorted, almost making the princess nauseous.

"Yuck! In your dreams." She rolled her eyes and continued eating.

"Snow, are you okay?" Aubrey asked Blaire. Blaire just gave her a quick glance before returning to her food without saying anything.

Blaire's attention was caught by Chaos's plate, which had two mushrooms. It was as if she was hypnotized because mushrooms were her favorite.

Blaire immediately stood up and tried to reach for the mushroom on Chaos's plate. Her companions' eyes widened in surprise because they didn't expect that.

Chaos just looked at Blaire, who was trying to reach for his food. He couldn't reach it because they were a bit far from each other. He furrowed his brow, feeling a little sorry for her, coinciding with the change in her eyes to gray and the sadness in her expression.

Even though Chaos was surprised by the change in Blaire's eye color, he chose to remain silent and handed his plate to Blaire. Without hesitation, Blaire took the two mushrooms and immediately ate them.

Their companions' eyes sparkled instead of being dismayed. Blaire returned to her seat after that, chewing silently.
