In the second year, her farewell party was scheduled second time Tara had to reach college in the afternoon for college decoration and other arrangements.
Due to the operation of Mr Ahmed's eye, there was a lot of busyness in the house, people were coming to visit Mr Ahmed and Tara was very worried because of his bad health, but being a class GR, she also had to go to college.
Seeing Mr Ahmed sick, she was very sad and did not want to go anywhere leaving him but forced by her responsibilities, she went to college.
She was very confused sitting on the steps to decorate the stage of the college and the rest of the girls were probably getting ready from the beauty parlour.
She wore a simple suit of maroon and green color and her green scarf was rustling because of the wind from her head and she was trying to fix it while working.
By the time the arrangements were completed, it was five o'clock in the evening and the party was expected to go on till late night.
One of Tara's friends knew what condition Tara was in and forced her to come to the party so she brought a black color frok for Tara from home which she forced Tara to wear before the party started.
She was repeatedly going to Rumi and asking "Are there any calls coming from home?, Rumi would tell her that Baba had been calling repeatedly asking why they had not come home yet", and she would get more confused.
The party was still going on and the food was not started when Tara took Rumi's hand after repeated interruptions by the teachers at 8:30 at night she walked out of the college.
Rumi was five years old Tara's age and the way to go home from college was horrible. There was a fear that going through the forest with this child in the darkness of such a night would not be right.
At some distance from the college, there was the house of Mr Ahmed's sister and Tara decided to stay there for the night.
They reached Aunt's house and on reaching there, they told Mr Ahmed "You should not worry, we will stay here for the night".
He didn't say anything to Tara at that time, but at home, he fought with Mrs. Ahmed a lot and insulted her for keeping Tara so high on her head that "she didn't care about my honor. She comes home at night from college trips and sometimes late-night parties attended when I have forbidden to attend such functions, then where did she get such courage, that's why I used to say that daughters are kept within their limits, they are more educated, If they go, they start doing their own thing and forget our honor and position".
Mrs. Ahmed was listening to everything silently and in her heart she was also very angry with Tara that "every day this girl does some such thing which causes I have to endure so much disrespect from her father".
Tara didn't sleep all night, she walked into the house, she knew that" Mr. Ahmed would be very angry and tomorrow when I went home, I don't know what would happen to me".
On the other hand, Tara used to take all the responsibilities but the principal had given the prize of second-year class GR to another girl.
She was not worried about not getting the prize but she was worried that the principal hated her too much and she was lost in many silent thoughts with moist eyes.
As soon as the morning dawned, Tara immediately turned to the house, took some kitchen utensils and some fruits for the family, and the two siblings reached home.
How was their night? When Tara greeted her mother in fear, she went out of the room without answering. Tara's younger sister Soni told her that there was chaos in the house and don't forget to go in front of Mr Ahmed otherwise something unexpected might happen.
She was locked in the room crying continuously for a long time and she was asking herself again and again "Why did I make such mistakes that took me away from Baba instead of bringing me closer to him".
She could not enjoy a trip or a party like other people, nor could she avoid Mr Ahmed's anger and scolding. He regretted that he had given Tara so much freedom that she was taking wrong advantage of that freedom.
Mr Ahmed bluntly stopped Tara from going to college and was also rude to her teachers. Tara was silently bearing everything and she was very angry with herself.
There was nothing to do but cry because Tara was making Mr Ahmed whom she wanted to see happy, the teachers whom she respected were being disrespected and she was going to make Mrs. Ahmed criminal who she thought was the best and most sincere person in the world and the house was restless and restless where she could stay calm.
I didn't want to argue with anyone!
She was caught in the whirlwind of circumstances and circumstances beyond her control, she felt very weak and helpless.
Instead of succeeding and becoming good in Mr Ahmed's eyes, she was losing her place in Mr Ahmed's heart and that was the reason why she was feeling like a failure instead of being successful.
This was Tara's last party that she attended.
Mrs. Ahmed loved Tara very much since childhood because Tara was her first daughter as well as her friend. She also knew that Mr Ahmed's anger and scolding had taken away Tara's childhood and innocence prematurely, so she would have taken more care of Tara and would have been closer to her so that Tara would not suffer from an inferiority complex.
Mrs. Ahmed never scolded Tara for her mistakes and cared and loved Tara more than her other children.
Tara also used to share every small and big thing with her mother from her childhood and thus she got a best friend in the form of a mother who always guided her towards the right path.
She used to see both mother and daughter less and friends more.
If Tara got a little bit of a fever, Mrs. Ahmed would not bother her, but Tara's fever would subside only when Mr Ahmed asked her how she was.
Mrs. Ahmed never made Tara feel that her father does not love her like other children and the relationship between father and daughter is not like that of normal people, but when Tara complains, she says that Mr Ahmed's nature is like that. No one is too close to him.
Tara used to have a complaint that she didn't deserve it too. She was saddened the most when Mr Ahmed's love was far from meeting his hatred and his anger because of Tara's part of scolding.
Mrs. Ahmed had to listen disrespect because of Tara and she did not accept that someone else should be punished for her mistakes.
