Aahan:

"Are you fine? Is anything wrong, dear?" I asked her.

"When will you be back to the home?" Vihana asked me.

"I will start to the home now. May be within half an hour, I will there," I said.

"Okay! Bye!" Vihana said.

"Bye!" I said and disconnected the call. I started to the home and reached as fast as possible. I didn't find Vihana in the living room.

"Mom, where is Vihana?" I asked my mom.

"She is in her room, Aahan. She looked upset today. I tried to ask the reason but she didn't say anything to me. Please take care of Vihana. I guess something is bothering her," mom said.

I nodded and went to the room. Vihana sat on the bed. I sat beside her.

"What happened to you, baby? Why are you upset?" I said.

Vihana didn't say anything but showed a file to me. The Venom is written on the file. I understood the reason behind her dullness.

"So?" I said.

"Aahan, the government handed over the Venom case to me again. I don't know what to do. Should I accept the case or reject it?"

"Vihana, if you ask my suggestion, I advise you to accept the case. Because it's where you lost your reputation. May be that's how you may regain your reputation. However, it's you who should take a decision," I said.

"But Aahan, if I accept this case, misunderstandings may arise between us again. I never saw love in my life. It's you who showed me the real love. You, mom and Chaitra loves me so much. I don't want to miss this love. I don't want to hurt my husband or my family. As your wife, it's my responsibility to keep you and our family happy," Vihana said in a worried and tense voice.

"Relax, Vihana! Just tell me one thing. What would you do if this Venom is not related to your husband? Would you accept this case or refuse to do so?" I asked her.

"Aahan, though I know the true intention behind the Venom, I would accept this case and arrest the culprit because I can't sacrifice the integrity of my duty. My duty is to catch the people who do crime and I promised myself to do the duty sincerely until my last breath on the day I joined in this job," Vihana said.

"Vihana, follow your heart. The criminal might be your husband, child or whoever it is, you should do the justice to your duty. That's it," I said.

"But I don't want to miss you or your love," Vihana said, holding both my hands.

"Vihana, you will never miss me or my love. In the past, I am rude to you because I thought you had acted as if you love me only to arrest me. But I realized that you didn't know anything about me at the time of our marriage.

Now even if you prove me as the Venom, I won't be angry with you because that's your duty and you should do your duty sincerely.

Vihana, I want to tell you only one thing. In the past, I am not angry with you for arresting me but I tried to take revenge against you because I thought you cheated me. So, don't worry much and do whatever you can to prove the case," I said.

"Okay, I will take up The Venom case. I will do anything to prove the truth and to save the team of the Venom as you all are in danger," Vihana said confidently.

Vihana:

I felt relaxed after listening to Aahan's words. I decided to take up the case of The Venom. I hugged Aahan and leaned on his shoulder.

"Just relax, Vihana. Look I am not against the system or the police department. I just hate those corrupted officers and the one who stoop low for their benefits. However, I respect and admire the officers like you who are sincere and loyal to the public and the nation," Aahan said.

"Thank you, Aahan. I love you," I said.

"I love you. Now get fresh up and stop bothering about these issues. This is our personal time and we should be happy with our family," Aahan said, cheering me up.

I nodded and got fresh up. I went to the living hall and got the sweet aroma mixed with pure ghee fragrance. I went to the kitchen and found mom preparing the gazar halwa.

"Mom, why are you cooking? You should have called me," I said to mom.

"It's okay, sweety! You are upset. So I thought of preparing your favourite gazar halwa with my hands to make you smile," mom said.

How lucky I am to get a mother in law of this kind! She is really a mom to me. I love her so much.

"Mom!" I said hugging her.

Mom hugged me back and then kissed my forehead.

"Taste it and tell me how it is," mom said, feeding me the sweet.

"Wow, mom! It's very tasty," I said and mom fed me again.

"Mom, this is too much. Are you going to feed the whole sweet only to your daughter in law and not to me?" Aahan said with a pout.

"Yes because my daughter is upset. It means you did something that hurts her. So there's no sweet for you," mom said, feeding me another spoon of sweet.

"Mom, you are wrong," Aahan said.

"Vihana, tell to mom that you are not hurt by me," Aahan said.

"But I can't lie to mom. As you scolded me I felt upset," I said to tease Aahan.

"What? When did I scold you?" Aahan said.

"Don't scare my daughter. I know you are rude. I am sure that you might have scolded her taking her innocence as an advantage. Aahan, I am warning you seriously. Don't hurt my daughter. You are lucky to have a diamond like Vihana as your wife. You are not realising that," mom said.
