Ch. 87Chapter Eighty Seven

Vihana:

"I know about your sincerity IPS Vihana. Okay let's make another deal. Arrest Aahan and Anoop in the women trafficking case. File the charges against them. Prove them as the culprits who abducted those thirty girls. We will leave your husband alive."

"No, I will definitely catch the true culprit behind this crime," I said.

"And you should leave your husband Aahan forever."

"What?" I asked.

"Yes, only then you can see him alive or you will find only the dead body of love of your life, Aahan," that person said.

"Why do you want me to leave my husband?" I asked.

"I tried a lot until now to separate you and Aahan a lot. But, you both ruined all my efforts and stayed together until now. My only target is to separate you and Aahan and ruin the life of Aahan forever."

"Why do you want to ruin Aahan's life?" I said.

"You no need to know about anything. Just do what I said and see your husband alive. Or wait to see him dead. Bye!"

"Hello! Hello!" I said.

The call was disconnected.

"Who is that, Vihana?" Megha asked me.

I told everything to her.

"No, Vihana! You shouldn't do this. Because arresting Aahan and Anoop and going away from Aahan will give no happiness to Aahan. Please wait. Let's do something and find out where is Aahan. We will save him. They are trying to force you to do the same mistake which you have done earlier. Arresting Aahan and going away from him is the same thing which you did earlier. Don't do this again ever in your lif. Whatever it is, Aahan stays happy only when he is with you," Megha said.

"No, Megha. I am not thinking to arrest Aahan or Anoop. I don't know what to do to save my Aahan and catch the real culprit. Somehow I should find out where is Aahan," I said.

In the past, when I arrested Aahan, that's because he is the Venom and the real criminal for whom I am searching for. But, now he is not the criminal. I can't do injustice to my profession and frame the innocent as the culprit. Aahan and Anoop are fighting for the women who are trapped in this women trafficking mafia. I can't put them behind the bars by framing false charges against them.

I love Aahan. Saving my husband and family is my responsibility. However, to keep him alive, I can't ruin his reputation in the society. If I arrest him, everyone will think that he is behind this women trafficking. No! Aahan sacrificed everything and even lost the love of his mom, sister and wife in thr past for his mission of saving women from trafficking. If I arrest him as the one who involved in women trafficking, it will be the biggest punishment to him in his life than death as he is fighting against women trafficking every moment putting even his life in risk. I should save him and also his reputation.

I think I should contact Anoop once. He may help me in tracing Aahan. I called Anoop immediately and told everything to him.

"Vihana, please be brave. Don't lose your strength. We will do something to save our Aahan. Nothing will happen to him. Don't worry," Anoop said.

I tried tracing Aahan with the help of those people who are close to me in my team. However, we didn't find any information about Aahan.

God, where is my Aahan? Save him! Please, save him! I can't live without my Aahan. Nothing should happen to him.

Aahan, where are you? How are you? Sorry for my helplessness. I don't know how to save you. I love you, Aahan.

I cried and hugged Aahan's photo. Two days passed by quickly without any information about Aahan. That day evening, I got a call from the private number again.

"Hello!" I said.

"Hello Mrs Aahan. Don't try too much. You can't find your husband unless you do what I say.

Okay, if you can't do what I said earlier, then do what I say now. Otherwise by tomorrow, you will get the giftbox in which your husband's dead body will be wrapped," that person said.

"What should I do?" I said.

"You should degrade your character and make Aahan leave you. You just need to go to a hotel room and get arrested in a raid. Knowing that Aahan will leave you. If you do this tonight, by the time you reach the court, we will free your husband or tomorrow early in the morning, we will gift you your husband's dead body," that person said giving me the hotel room details.

The call was disconnected and his words echoed in my ears. Hotel raid? It means I should get arrested as a prostitute. If Aahan comes to know this, he will hate me and will leave my hand forever. They want me to repeat the same mistake which Anirudh forced me to do earlier. But, I have very less time and I must save my Aahan. I closed my eyes and took a decision.

I decided to save my husband. I will do anything for that. I can't regret my helpless after losing my Aahan.

In the evening, I went to the hotel room as he said. The room was locked automatically as soon as I entered it and within a few minutes, the police arrested me and a guy they sent in the raid. The next day they took me to the court. The judge asked me to pay the fine and I came out paying the fine. The media covered the news and added nonsense to their coverage.

I came out of the court and found Aahan looking at me. Thank God, my Aahan is safe. I thought to go to him and hug him but stopped remembering his words in the past. I stood there looking at Aahan with tears. Aahan came to me and my heart beated faster with fear. What if Aahan slaps me or accuses my character again in front of everyone? I bent my head without speaking anything.
