Ch. 80Chapter Eighty

Aahan:

"Vihana, what did I do now? I didn't do anything wrong," I said.

"Shut up, Aahan! Please let me stay in peace. I lost everything because of you. My reputation, respect, value and everything I lost just because of you. Stop suffering me more," Vihana shouted at me.

"Vihana, I have apologized you many times for my past deeds," I said.

"Vihana!" Vihana's mom shouted at her and we both looked at aunt.

"Is this the way to talk to your husband? You are spoiling your life with your stupid behaviour," Vihana's mom scolded her.

"Aunt, that's okay. Vihana is not wrong. She is talking everything out of the pain she had faced in the past because of me. I deserve every word Vihana said," I said.

"Aahan, what are you saying? What happened between you both?" Aunt asked me.

I was about to say what had happened between us but Vihana cut me off before I could start.

"Mom, nothing happened between us. I am just in some stress and showed it off at Aahan, that's it. It's my fault," Vihana said.

Aunt looked suspiciously at both of us. However, Vihana didn't give scope for another question and started serving meals to us. In the night, after the dinner, I went to her room. I knocked on the door of her room and she opened the door. She glanced at me.

"What do you want?" Vihana asked me.

"Let me come in. I am so tired. I want to take a rest," I said.

"What the hell are you talking? This is my room and I don't want to share my room with you," Vihana said.

"Then where should I sleep? There are only two bedrooms in this house. Aunt took one room and you are in one room," I said.

"Sleep in the hall or on balcony or anywhere you wish. I have absolutely no objection. But, you are not allowed into my room," Vihana said.

I remembered my harsh words to Vihana where I asked her to sleep in the living room when I thought to marry Hasini in anger at Vihana.

"Okay!" I said.

I slept on a couch in the hall. In the midnight, I felt it's too cold. I couldn't sleep and searched for a blanket in my luggage. Unfortunately, I forgot the blanket and I don't want to disturb Vihana at that time for a comforter. I am sure that Vihana would shout at me if I disturb her sleep now. I slept on the sofa calmly trying to bear the cold weather.

Suddenly, I heard the footsteps of someone and I closed my eyes suspecting that it's Vihana. The footsteps approached me and I felt Vihana covering me with a blanket. I smiled as I understood that still Vihana cares for me. Before she could leave, I held her wrist and pulled her towards me. Vihana fell on me. I stared into her magical eyes.

"Is caring not a sign of love?" I asked Vihana.

She looked into my eyes silently without answering to my question.

"Come to our room. Here it's too cold," Vihana said. I nodded and went to her room. I slept on the bed and Vihana turned another side to avoid facing me.

I smirked and passed my fingers on her waist. I drew patterns on her waist observing the change in her breath. I turned her towards me and cupped her face.

"I love you, angel. Please, forgive me once," I said softly.

Vihana chose silence as her answer once again.

"Take your time, sweetheart. I won't force you to accept me soon," I said.

I turned another side to sleep but Vihana place her hand over me. Then, she hugged me tightly. I turned towards her. Vihana didn't speak anything but slept on my chest hugging me. I embraced her in my arms happily.

"Don't ever leave me if you want me to forgive you," Vihana mumbled.

I caressed her hairs.

"I will never leave you, my angel. Whatever may happen or whoever may try to separate us, I will never leave you. I understood how dark my life would become without you," I said, placing a kiss on her cheek.

"Aahan, I want to say something to you," Vihana said.

"Tell me, dear!" I said, caressing her hairs.

"I don't know whether you will trust my words or not but I want you to know this truth," Vihana said.

"I will definitely trust your every word from now," I said.

"I didn't abort our child," Vihana said.

"I didn't get you," I said.

"I didn't abort our child because of the anger at you. I was never intended to kill our unborn baby. Without my notice, our child was dead in my womb," Vihana said, shocking me.

I got shocked listening to Vihana's words.

"What do you mean, Vihana? If you didn't abort the child, how did our child die?" I asked cupping her face.

Vihana cried hugging me.

"Vihana, please relax!" I said, caressing her hairs and kissing her.

I couldn't see Vihana in tears. She sobbed continuously without speaking anything. It might be because of the pain which she had hidden from the day our child died. Of course, it's really tough for a mother to bear the death of her child.

"Though I am angry with you, I loved our child as a mother. I didn't want to kill our child. I thought to use your love for child to change you and make you stop your criminal activities," Vihana said.

"But, I don't know how our child was killed in my womb. When I was in my office, I got stomachache and went to the hospital immediately. The doctor checked me and said that the child was aborted due to the contraceptive pills which I had taken. But the truth is I hadn't taken any pills for abortion," Vihana said.

If she didn't take the pills, someone might have added those pills in her food to kill our child. Who is that and what's the benefit they get if they kill our child?
