Ch. 22Part22

After a night of thinking about ideas to make Natalie reveal her true identity, Hans and Maria finally decided to make Natalie eat seafood that should make her allergic if she is Jessie.

Previously, a person who Maria asked to find information about Mr. Mac finally got information if Mr. Mac did not have a daughter even until his wife died. This makes Hans and Maria even more convinced that Natalie has hidden her true identity.

Meanwhile, Natalie, who was preparing to go to work, had to check her cellphone which suddenly rang. Natalie opened the message that was apparently from Hans,

"Natalie, what if this afternoon we eat together? I really miss you," that's the content of the message Hans sent to Natalie.

Natalie rolled her eyeballs lazily, "Did he do this behind my back too? What a rancid bastard!" cursed Natalie who felt annoyed.

"Alright, I'll wait at the restaurant where we usually meet," Natalie replied through her message.

In Hans' room,

"No, just tell him that you'll pick him up and take him to a place that only sells seafood, if he dodges it you can be sure he is Jessie," said Maria who looked excited at that time.

"You're right, well I'll send another message," replied Hans who then fiddled with his cellphone again, "No need, I'll pick you up later," the message Hans sent to Natalie.

Finally the two agreed to have lunch and Hans was the one who would pick Natalie up.

...

Meanwhile, elsewhere, Ken and Evan continue to search for the whereabouts of Natalie's kidnapper who has not yet found a bright spot.

"Your eyes look red Evan, rest first don't you have to take care of your hospital?" Ken, who realized Evan was tired from staying up all night, told Evan to rest.

"It's okay, there's still my dad there, after all which owner has to work hard an owner does have to relax, right," Evan replied politely.

"Ahh, you're like that even though you have a lot of staff that you have to look after too, you pay too much attention to your girlfriend," Ken again gave Evan advice.

"Ken, she's not my girlfriend," Evan said with a glum look on his face.

"So-so what did she tell me? You're in unrequited love? Your love is unrequited? Like this?" asked Ken as he practiced his hand slapping the wind.

"Right, it doesn't sound right, but it's okay, he's my childhood friend, I can't possibly tell him how I feel," Evan explained to Ken.

"Why not? Don't you want to be with her, protect her?" Ken asked.

Evan was silent and sighed, "I will always protect her, so let's continue the search, ha ha," Evan looked very sincere to Natalie.

"You're crazy because of love," said Ken, who was surprised by his best friend's behavior.

Evan just smiled and looked back at the laptop in front of him.

...

Lunchtime arrived, Hans hurried to pick up Natalie at her boutique. After driving for a few minutes, he arrived in front of Natalie's boutique.

"Where is Miss Natalie?" Hans asked Natalie's employee, who turned out to be Grace.

"Miss is in her room, sir," Grace replied, inviting Hans into Natalie's room.

"Natalie," greeted Hans who suddenly entered Natalie's room. At that time, Natalie was going to the toilet, so Hans walked towards Natalie's desk. At that time, Natalie's cell phone rang. Hans, who was nearby, checked the cell phone.

Hans was a little surprised when he saw Evan's name on Natalie's cell phone screen, "Wh-what? Evan? no way," said Hans who then picked up the phone.

"Hello, Jes .." said Evan.

This certainly made Hans surprised and immediately turned off the phone. Evan, who was still with Ken at his house, was suspicious of this. Evan hurriedly took his car keys to Natalie's boutique.

"Evan!" shouted Ken who didn't know why Evan was in a hurry to leave.

Hans who felt confused was trying to calm down "Jes? obviously he called Natalie Jes? wait a minute, Evan is Jessie's best friend since childhood, no way, no way how can Jessie still be alive," said Hans silently. During the confusion that Hans was experiencing Natalie also entered his room and surprised Hans.

"Hans?" said Natalie,

"Oh yes, umm I heard you were in the room so I just went in but you weren't there," explained Hans with a little stutter.

"What's wrong with you, are you not feeling well?" asked Natalie who was surprised at Hans' attitude.

"N-no, umm let's have lunch," invited Hans, hiding his surprised face. "Natalie or Jessie, let's find out the truth," said Hans in his heart.

As soon as Hans and Natalie left the boutique, Evan came to see Natalie. "Where's Natalie?" Evan asked Grace who was arranging clothes there.

"She just left with a man," Grace replied, and without another word, Evan left the boutique and went after Natalie.

"Is she really that popular?" Grace looked puzzled as the two men searched for Natalie.

...

In the car, Evan kept calling Natalie, but because she was with Hans, Natalie deliberately ignored Evan's calls. "Jessie, where are you," Evan said as he continued to drive the car.

After a few moments of silence, Evan finally remembered the application that he had deliberately installed on Natalie's cellphone to know her current location. Evan pulled the car over to make it safer while checking Natalie's location.

Evan turned on his cell phone and saw Natalie's position, which was now at a sea food restaurant. "What? sea Food? no way this must be Hans' trap, Jessie can't eat seafood," said Evan who looked very worried.

While Natalie was currently confused by the food on her table, she could not possibly eat the food because she would definitely get hives due to allergies and the worst thing about allergies is shortness of breath and loss of consciousness.

"Natalie, eat up, I heard you love seafood," Hans said as he put a piece of spicy octopus in Natalie's bowl.

"Emm, i-iya thank you," said Natalie who was still reluctant to eat it.

"I remember very well, back then my first wife couldn't eat food like this so I had to go alone to enjoy it, now there are you who can accompany me, I hope we can be like this forever," Hans recalled while provoking Natalie's reaction.

"Oh my, Hans still remembers that, what do I have to do to get out of here, do I have to go to the toilet? but it's not if I stay in the toilet," Natalie said in her heart.
