He didn't answer me again and was really busy in his meditation. Due to running out of patience, I put my mouth close to his ear. “LISTEN, MAGNUS! I SAID, BELIEVE WHAT I SAY! WHIT!” I screamed loudly to this deaf man.

"Don't shout me. I can hear you," his seemingly blank response eased my troubled heart.

I was almost there. I thought he didn't really see my presence anymore. I was about to lose my mind and cry here but luckily my suspicions were wrong. My Alpha's brain is really just too complicated. Shocking.

"Are you on a trip?"

"No. I'm just giving myself a little meditation." He even closed his eyes with a sigh, "Mute yourself."

"That can't be done! I have something to tell you! It's shocking."

"Is it more important than your life?"

He is crazy. He's the one I was helping, but he's still threatening me?

I was overwhelmed with exhaustion, "Probably, what other person would love and be happy with someone who is already hurting?" I was strong enough to pull. Do I have experience in love? Shocking.

"And I really regret the pain I made her feel," he said coldly, looking far away.

After a while my system suddenly stopped running when I saw how the edge of Magnus' lips arched up slightly which really shocked my whole being!
