Chapter 9

Dennis' Pov

I called my brothers to where I sat and played the recording again and we could hear our mom threatening Cassy to stay away from us. My brothers and I cringed in anger as our hands turned into a fist at the same time.

"What's wrong with mother?!" Daniel snarled, gnashing his teeth in rage.

"Mother will regret trying to kick Cassy out of our lives!" Derrick added, his wolf growling angrily.

I was mute not because I wasn't upset but because I was angrier than my brothers. How could our mom torment us this way? Does she think we'll be okay if Cassy leaves our lives? Never! We can never allow that to happen. I sprang up from my seat and gripped our car key. "We're going to see, mom," I announced to them, my voice resounding through the entire office and it was obvious that my wolf was already out of control.

My brothers also jumped up and we stormed our way to the car park. "Can't Mom see that we're dedicated to this girl? Why is she trying to push her away?" Derrick questioned as I started the car and I gritted my teeth. Derrick was definitely right. Why was Mom getting in our way?

"We need to let her know that we'll never let Cassy go unless she would blame herself if Cassy ever refuses to be our mate again," Daniel bellowed, solemnly as he was trying hard to control his wolf.

"She dares not let Cassy leave!" I let out and drove speedily through the highway to her penthouse.

My brothers and I rushed into the penthouse kicking off the butt of her men that tried to stop us from seeing her with the excuse that she didn't need any visitors.

We bursted her door down and my Mom gasped at the sight of us, storming towards her. Our claws and canines were already out and we were ready to finish up the business. I reached out to the recording in my trouser pocket and clicked it to play as my mother's voice came into hearing. Her mouth parted in amazement. Thank goodness Cassy was smart enough to record their conversation so she won't have to deny it.

"Surprise right?" Daniel inquired from Mom and her countenance changed from being surprised to anger.

"That girl is a brat!" She snapped and our growl filled the office. If she wasn't our mother, we were already seeing her flaunting down on the ground but my Mom knew we can't do anything to her so she took advantage. "She's a deceiver and you can't fight me because I am trying to protect you boys," she stated and we all scoffed at the same time.

"Says who? You, mother?" I demanded from her but she kept quiet knowing what I meant. "You have no reason or excuse to tag her as a bad person because your crime is more worse than hers!" I taunted and she shook her head, standing up from where she sat, her face looking solemn.

"You don't have to say that, my sons. I regret my past and admit my mistake which is why I want the best for you all. Cassy isn't going to do all of you any good," she said.

Derrick let out a slight laugh. He was already calm but still angry I could tell and that was because he doesn't get angry for long, "And what has that got to do with you?"

"I see no reason why you are butting into our business," I added.

Daniel chimed in, "You can never stop us from being her mate. You have to know this now mother that Cassy is a different one this time. She's our mate now and we claimed her already so I will advise you to stay away from her cause the next time you cause trouble for her or try to hurt her, we'll make sure you don't get away with it!"

My mother made a teary look and uttered, "You guys need to come back to your senses and get to know that Cassy is a cunning, tricky slut. She would end up betraying you!"

Her words made my wolf growl angrily at her and I took threatening steps to where she was. "You will say no more now, mother. Whether Cassy betray us or not, it's none of your business but if she does betray us then you will pay the price because you will be the one behind her betraying us!" I snapped and turned to leave as well as my brothers.

"You guys should listen to me!" My mother cried out after us but we were already deaf to her words. She can never convince us about the decision we already took.

We followed Cassy into her mansion after she accepted our apologies. She was a kind girl and soft hearted. Even after my mother almost killed her, she still decided to forgive us and invited us into her house. What a gracious girl she was.

My brothers and I just couldn't stop staring at her, especially her boobs since the dress she put on brought out almost everything she owned. She was just too good for admiration.

"Your house is nice and well equipped," Derrick complimented. He was right. Yet not big as ours, it was looking very exclusive both the interior and exterior design.

Cassy turned with a smile plastered on her face, "Thanks," her tiny voice appreciated and she pointed at the couch to take our seat. "What can I offer you?" She requested and Daniel was the first to answer.

"Water, please. I'm worked up."

"Water for me too," Derrick said and when I didn't speak up, still contemplating on what to ask, Cassy called out to me.

"What about you, Dennis?" She asked and I raised my head to look at her. Her gray eyes shining bright as usual, a smile creeping on her thin lips.

"I need a wine, please," I told her, asking for what I really needed at that point. My wolf needs to calm down.

I watched Cassy go into the kitchen and just then, her brother walked in. When he saw us, his face brightened and he ran to join us where we sat. "I can't believe the Wesley's boys are here in our house," he taunted and Daniel ruffled his hair.

"How are you kid?" He inquired and Nathan smiled at him.

"I might not be fine before but right now, I am excited!" He exclaimed.

"Anything to have fun with?" I asked Nathan and he pretended to think before he sprang from where he sat.

"Video games! Are you in?" He asked, gazing at us.

Derrick was the first to agree. Of course, the most playful among us. "Get it down, boy."

Nathan ran to the Television and put it on. While setting the video game in, Cassy brought what we asked for and we took it one after the other while mumbling a thank you to her.

"Video games? Nathan just wouldn't let his visitors off," Cassy pouted and we laughed.

"Who told you we're visitors? This is our home boy," Daniel spoke up on behalf of us and we all chuckled again.

"We'll play turn by turn. Anyone who loses is out," he said and gave the game pads to both Derrick and Daniel for them to start playing. The two didn't waste any time before they jumped into the game.

"What should I prepare for you guys," Cassy finally spoke up after a short silence.

"Anything," we all said at the same time. "Or rather we can have take outs," I added but Cassy shook her head at me.

"Care to join me in the kitchen?" She asked me and I nodded almost immediately. How does she know the kitchen was my thing?

I stood up and I heard my brothers saying we must cook the meal very well since two chefs were entering the kitchen. Cassy giggled at their words and when we entered the kitchen, she turned to face me. "You love to cook?"

"Pretty my best chores," I admitted and she blushed, turning back to start working but I couldn't help being beside her without having a taste of her. Without thinking for a second, I trotted to where she was, held her waist and sniffled in her scent as my wolf dangled happily in me. She swirled around to face me then wrapped her hands over my shoulder, giving me more access to have her. I moved her away from where she stood and pinned her to the wall before clasping my lips on hers.
