I woke up because I felt someone holding my hand. I immediately opened my eyes and saw the ceiling.

"My daughter you're awake." I heard a woman say. So I turned my attention to her.

I saw a rather old woman and her eyes looked at me full of longing, and I saw how tears fell from her beautiful eyes.

"Why are you crying?" I asked her weakly.

"My daughter…" She cried so I couldn't help but cry too because of her crying.

"I-I can't forgive that man for what he did to you and for being away from you for a few years." She said angrily and held my hand tightly.

We were in that situation when the door suddenly opened and a very beautiful woman entered if I looked at her, she looked like she was 18 years old. When he saw me looking at her, she was shocked and immediately ran to me and hugged me.

“Sister! She's awake, I thought we'd lose her again." She cried while hugging me tightly.

"Just wait, miss my baby got stuck," I said because she hugged me too tightly and my belly was too big, I might give birth prematurely.

"Come on, sorry sister!" Her voice was shrill.

"Crizia, see your sister's situation first and then you will torture her." The lady disobeyed her.

"Mom, I didn't mean it, I was just excited to hug my sister because she has been missing from our place for so long." Her daughter replied curtly.

"Wait a minute, I'm confused about you, what are you doing?" I asked them in confusion.

"Mama.." When I said that again, she burst into tears and hugged me.

"My princess already comes back to us." She said and kissed me on the forehead.

"Mama…can you tell me everything? How I was lost to you.” I asked, she nodded and sat properly in her seat, still holding my hand.

"You were so lovely back then until that child name Adam Reigo Ashford took you without our permission."

"He hid you from us for how many years and thank god we found you, but your dad is so mad when he found you in that situation." Her story made me cry.

"We did find you, but God will take you away from us again, and that's what your father and I will not allow, we want to be with you even for a little while, so fight for us and your children."

"Mom...I'm not promising that I'll be able to fight anymore, especially since I'm about to give birth to my second child with Reigo." I weakly answered her.

"You can…you can do it, my daughter, I know you are brave." She encouraged me, I could see the pain in her eyes, and she tried to smile in front of me.

"Your dad hired great doctors in the states to treat you and I know I have confidence in your dad, that you will get well and you will be able to be with us for a long time." She said I just smiled because I didn't want to hurt her more.

"Daughter….forgive me if I don't want to return you to the Ashfords." She said weakly.

"Mama….there's no need to apologize first because even if you don't say that, I really won't go back there." I smiled and said that to her.

"Thank you because you are not close to each other, especially since the Ashford and Aberra clans are enemies." Because of what she said, I was curious and wanted to hear everything.

"Why did our family become enemies with the Ashford family?" I asked, and he sighed.

"Daughter, the Ashford family is greedy for wealth, we are the second richest in the entire Philippines, and Adam's mother and father want to get our wealth."

"That's why their son kidnapped you to use you against us, but your father is not that stupid to not act."

"Your father did everything to make one of the Ashford's companies fail in the states so that their attention could be turned there and so that we could get you back and we succeeded in the plan to get you back from their power."

"Mom, in all the time I've been in Reigo's custody, he never hurt me, and I've never seen his parents in person," I answered her.

"I heard that Adam got married this morning, do you know that daughter?" She suddenly asked.

"Yes….and that's what I can't accept, he promised that he would come back to us but he didn't keep it. I relied too much on his promise." I said softly and tears started to fall from my eyes again.

"Husssh... it's okay, he doesn't deserve someone like you, and it looks like he just used you and didn't love you." When I heard what mom said, it was as if there was anger in my chest.

I don't want to harbor anger in my heart because I can't because every time I remember my situation inside the mansion for eight months, I feel like I hated him.

While I was waiting for him and continued to fight my disease for him, he was having fun and even married someone else.

"I will never forgive him..." I said bitterly and angrily.

"I'm suffering while his happy with someone else, he abandoned us..." I clenched my fist, I will make sure that when we meet again, I will not be the same as before.

"Mommy!" That's what I heard when the door room opened and saw my son coming to me.

"Baby Percy, are you okay?" I asked with a smile and wiped the tears from my eyes so he wouldn't notice.

"Yes mommy, because grandpa plays with me and he even teaches me how to ride a horse." He said happily. Just seeing him happy makes me feel better.

"Your grandpa is really good at teaching when it comes to horse riding grandson." Mom smiled and let Percy sit on her lap.

"Your right grandma, grandpa is the best grandpa in the world!" Percy.

"You're so adorable my grandson," Mom said.

"Look how he inherited his father's eyes, Mom..." I said softly while looking into my son's eyes, every time I saw his eyes I just remembered his father. My grip on the blanket was tight, I shouldn't feel angry with my son.

"Don't ever hate your son, Eleanor, I know what you're thinking." When mom threatens me.

"Mom, I will never hate my son, even if I hate his father, that doesn't mean I hate my son, he's the only one I have when I have nothing to hold on to," I answered bitterly to mom.

"You don't know what I went through when I was pregnant with Percy, I almost crawled in the mud just for him to live, even if I can't eat, just seeing him full makes me okay." My sob story.

"What are you saying? Don't tell me that the son of the Ashford couple has been abandoned?!” She asked angrily and emphatically.

"Percy, go outside and play with your grandpa first." She said calmly to Percy.

"Okay, grandma!" He answered happily and left the room.

"Now tell me what you went through at the hands of the Ashfords?" She said harshly to me.

"Mom, I regain my memories 5 months ago... I remembered how much Reigo took care of me, even though he never laid a hand on me." My introduction while remembering all the past between Adam Reigo Ashford and me.

"It's funny how a heartless billionaire can be gentle in front of me," I told the story with a smile.

"But if I hadn't left the house at those times, I wouldn't have experienced living on the street and begging."

"I've been involved in an accident that caused me to have amnesia, after how many years Reigo found us again and kept us in their mansion."

"He showed me all our album pictures for me to believe him that I'm his wife…" I said gargling.

"But he had to leave for the states because he said he had to fix something and he promised to come back to us, but you know what hurts feelings? His promise that he would come back to us in one month turned into eight months and he still hasn't informed us and I just heard that he got married to someone else while we were still there, but he didn't... I don't even know if we are married because even my memories came back, I don't remember the two of us getting married so maybe it's just that easy for him to marry someone else." The pain and bitterness can be seen in my voice as I say it in front of mom who is now looking at me pitifully.

"Don't feel sorry for me... Because I feel like everyone around me feels pity for me."
