ELEANOR MIA POV

"Wife, I will be gone for a month, I need to fix something in States." He calmly told me while we were inside his room, I've been in his house for almost a few months now and I'll admit I'm used to having him by my side all the time.

“Does it take a month?” I asked him.

"Yes, I promise I will come back, I will come back to you and to our son, so will always take care of our son." He said before caressing my hand and pulling me onto the bed so I was hugging him now.

"When are you leaving?" I asked him but he didn't bother to answer me and just kissed me.

"Wife, can we make love?" He asked me for permission.

"Why asking my permission?" I laughed and said, he smiled and said that he kissed me eagerly.

His kisses and his holding me are careful, and I feel like this is our last meeting but I'm not sure. I let myself be swept away by what he was doing. I gave myself completely to him because I knew I loved him very much.

"H-hubby…." I said weakly.

"Hmmm..." He responded while kissing my neck and I didn't realize that he had already undressed me.

"I'll give my soul, my heart to you just promise me you'll come back to us..." I spoke softly to him because I felt he would never come back. I saw how he was stunned by what I said.

"I just want to hear from you myself, because I’m only going to hold on to your promise," I said softly to him.

"I'll promise." He said softly and continued what he was doing.

I was dizzy when I felt a cold feeling so I opened my eyes when I opened my eyes I felt the weight of my chest.

I looked around the whole room and I didn't come across Reigo who was looking at me every morning when I woke up.

I changed my mind, trying to tell my brain that he might just be in the mansion's kitchen cooking our breakfast. I just smiled and believed what I was thinking before getting up and going to the bathroom to take a shower.

It only took a few minutes for me to finish taking a shower and went straight to the walk-in closet in the room and immediately got dressed without paying attention to my hair because I just wanted to see if Reigo was in the kitchen.

When I went down to the living room, I only met maids while they were cleaning, so I went to the kitchen and it was as if the earth and the sky had thrown me down when I couldn't find Reigo.

I turned my gaze to the table where someone was preparing to eat, just as a maid entered so I caught her attention.

"Miss, have you seen Reigo?" I asked her.

"Ah ma'am, sir left early in the morning, when he left he told us to serve you well, and ma'am, breakfast is ready for you and Percy." She said with a smile. I sighed.

"Please wake up Percy upstairs," I told her she immediately nodded and turned to leave while I sat on the chair and lazily spooned the food.

I didn't think that he was going to leave now, he didn't even say goodbye to me.

"Mom, will you just look at your food?" I was shocked because Percy was already sitting in front of me, spooning his food.

"I'll put it on, son," I said and put food on his plate.

"Here's some food," I told him.

"Mom, where's dad?" He asked while eating.

"Your Dad left early this morning and he said he will be in the states for a month but don't worry he promised to get back to us both," I said to him with a smile.

"Then only you will take me to school now that dad is gone." He says.

"Of course, I will always deliver you to your school, so don't worry." I replied to him.

We finished eating and I said I would help him get ready to go to his school and we could leave but he refused me because he said he was the big man now.

I just laughed and let him do what he wanted before I got dressed and went downstairs to take him to his school.

"Mom, let's go."

"Yeah," I said and held his hand, and we went out of the mansion and got into the car. There is a driver who will take us to their school. As soon as we got in, the car drove away from the mansion.

"Mom, what if dad won't come back to us? What would you do?” he asked.

"Your daddy will come back, he made a promise and while he has a promise for us, I will hold on to that son." I calmly answered him.

"Mom, always remembers that not all promises will be true, some promises are meant to be broken." What he said seemed to hit me but I just shook my head and hugged him.

"Son, I know you're smart, so don't give me a reason not to rely on your father's promise," I told him before kissing him on the forehead.

"Ma'am, we are here." The driver said that's why I immediately got out and supported my son on his way out before taking him right in front of the gate, I was only here because he didn't want to take me to his room.

"Be a good boy son," I told him while kneeling in front of him.

"Okay, mom." He responded and kissed me on the cheek before he walked in. When I saw that he was slowly disappearing from my sight, the smile disappeared from my lips, and I sighed before turning around and returning to the car.

"Are we going home, ma'am?" The driver asked as soon as I got into the car. I'm thinking of visiting manila bay because it looks beautiful to watch the sunset there.

"Just take me to manila bay after that, later you just pick up my son and please tell him I'll be there in the evening, please tell Sai that he will take care of getting Percy dinner," I said and I saw that he just nodded.

It only took an hour to get there, so I got off and told the driver to follow my instructions.

I even saw a few of us on the concrete bridge where you can sit and watch the sea. There are also street food vendors.

I just smiled because this is one of the places where I used to wander around with my son Percy when he was little and I carried him in my arms.

I sat on my old hangout here and smelled the fresh air, there wasn't much daylight today because it was still morning.

I can't stop thinking about everything and why I still can't remember anything, I thought of hitting my head but I only got nothing.

I just laughed because I thought about it while I was with him. I just held my breath, hoping that he would fulfill his promise that he would only be in another country for a month because I would continue to wait for him.

I don't know what time it was when I looked at the sea and didn't realize it was already hot. I looked at the time and saw that it was almost lunchtime, so it was already hot. I stood up and shook the dress I was wearing before thinking about buying something to eat today.

I just looked for a restaurant near here and I found a relatively cheap one, even though I have a lot of cash with me, I still know how to appreciate it.

I only ordered an eggplant with egg, a hotdog, and a cup of rice and I paid less than a hundred. I sat down at a table and ate peacefully.

While I was eating, I saw a happy family on the beach, the husband holding their son while his wife was hugging his waist and looking at the wide sea.

I don't know what time it was when I saw that the sun was about to set, I sat back where I was sitting earlier and immediately waited for the sun to set.

I can't help but smile because from what I see, I also want to experience that feeling that the family is whole.

It was so nice to watch the sunset slowly, I just smiled. I want when Reigo comes, I want us to watch the sunset together.

When the sun already set the night come and I feel cold because of the wind that hit my skin, I just touched my two arms before standing up and walking to the side, and to go home.

"Miss beautiful, buy some tulips so I can go home." A little boy was next to me, I looked at him and he was so cute that's why I just bought his remaining tulips.

"Oh, there's five hundred in change for you and go home because it's getting late," I said to him with a smile.

"Thank you, beautiful sister." He said happily and as soon as he left, I waited for a ride to go home.

As soon as I got in the taxi, I immediately told the location of the mansion so I could go home because it looked like I was going to be late. After all, the trip home to the mansion was still quite far.

"Sir, please wake me up when we are in front of the village of the Ashfords," I said to the driver and leaned against the car window before closing my eyes.

I didn't realize that my sleep was getting deeper and I just woke up with someone touching me.

"Miss, wake up, we're here." When I heard what he said, I immediately opened my eyes and rubbed my eyes. I also saw that we were in front of the village of house so I paid before getting off. I approached the big gate and the guard saw me before I opened it quickly.

I just smiled at him before nodding and walking towards the mansion not far from the gate.

When I entered, I was immediately greeted by silence, I knew everyone was asleep. I went upstairs and sneaked into my son's room to peek at him.

When I opened the door to Percy's room, I saw him sleeping in his bed while hugging his big teddy bear. I walked over to him and sat next to him before stroking his hair.

"Both are the same, you and your daddy's face, son, when you sleep, it's like a split fruit," I said and smile weakly.

I kissed him on the forehead before fixing his blanket and turned around to go to my room with Reigo and to rest because I felt so tired.
