"Just sit at your table and don't do things that can make you tired." He said while sitting on his swivel chair in his office.

"I've been here in your office for a few days, but you never once give any work to me, be honest with me, am I your secretary?" When I said that, I let out a deep breath as I stood in front of him.

He put down the paper he was reading before turning to look at me, his eyes were wide and the tiredness was obvious.

"Wife, I just don't want you to get tired." He said calmly that's why I walked behind him and signal him to lean back in his chair.

He did so I touched his forehead with my hand, and I saw him take a deep breath and close his eyes.

"Just go to sleep, even if it's just for an hour because, in the three days since we got out of the hospital, you haven't been able to breathe," I told him while continuing to stroke his head.

"It's not possible, especially since there are other investors from other countries that I have to take care of." He responded weakly.

"I will do all your work first." I suddenly said, but I was just joking because what do I know about transactions with his business partner?

"Wife, you see how exhausted I am in my work, so it's a big no if you're the one who will get tired; it's enough with me if I'm the only one who gets tired, especially since you're by my side, you're the only one who gives me strength,” he said.

"You're rich, why do you need more money?" I'm asking because he's really rich, especially when we got out of the hospital and we went to his house which was super big and I admired it.

"You still don't understand when it comes to business wife, and I have an opponent that wants to steal everything from me, and I'm not going to allow that to happen," he said.

"Also in business, there is an opponent? Does that mean you can die at any time?" I asked him innocently.

“F*ck wife that's not what I mean!” I was shocked because by his sudden shout

"Are you cursing me?" I only ask because I know the meaning of the first word he uttered is about cursing.

"No! shit I mean no, I'm not cursing you.” He answered nervously and calmly and immediately hugged me.

He also kissed my whole face including my forehead, I could feel his fear that he thought I would get angry but I wouldn't get angry over a small thing.

"Don't be mad, I didn't mind cursing in front of you and I'm sorry if I yelled at you." I could feel his soft voice telling me that.

"I am not angry," I said softly and looked up at him, and I could see his eyes full of love as he looked at me.

I smiled at him very wide and I saw the admiration in his eyes as he looked at me.

"How can you be this so beautiful, wife." He asked weakly.

"You are so innocent and pure even though we already have a child." He said.

"Really!" I happily told him, he nodded and kissed me on the lips before he kissed me on the forehead.

"It's almost lunchtime, let's have lunch." He said and took my hand before we left his office. There was almost no one on the floor we were on because this floor was just for him.

When we boarded the elevator, he immediately pressed the very first number that would take us to the lobby of his company.

As soon as the elevator opened in the lobby, I saw how his employees bowed and felt how his aura changed, it was not the same as before when we were just the two of us.

Every step he took was heavy while holding my hand folded in his large palm.

Everyone we passed by didn't even look at us because it was as if they looked at us they would lose their breath, especially the men he employed.

"Stop looking at my male employees, I might kill them." He said coldly that's why I just turned my gaze to him.

"Much better when you only look at me." I can see his smile but I can't help but admire him because his smile is so hot.

After we arrived at the parking lot, he immediately opened the door of his car for me and fastened my seatbelt before turning around and getting into the driver's seat.

"Are you that in love with me to the point that you can't take away your eyes from me." He said with a smirk and started to start his car.

"Nah, I just admire your handsomeness." I didn't hesitate to answer him. I noticed that his ear was red and I couldn't figure out why, so I got worried and held it to see if something had bitten him.

"Does your car have a mosquito that bites your ear? Because it's getting red." I asked him while still holding his ear.

"Ahem ahem..." He coughed so I removed my grip on his ear.

"Are you coughing too?" I asked him in wonder.

"Damn wife how can you make my stomach flutter just by using your sweet words." He was weak.

"Huh?" I asked confusedly because I didn't say any sweet words to him.

"Didn't I say I love you to you?"

"That's not what I mean, just never mind we're already here." He said and the car stopped in front of an expensive restaurant.

He got out of the car and opened me up again before he helped me get out, as soon as I got out he grabbed me by the waist and stuck me to him.

"I'm not going to be kidnapped to hold me tightly, hubby," I said softly to him as we approached the door of the restaurant.

"I know, there's just a lot of people here, I want them to know that you're my property." He says.

"Welcome, Mr. Ashford.” When a waitress at the side of the door welcomed us, I just smiled at her because Reigo didn't even look at her.

Reigo just walked in and walked to a table that was only for two people and I can say that he chose a good place because it was right next to the glass wall. He pulled me to a chair before he sat in front of me and took the menu that was placed on the table.

"What do you want to eat?" He asked while still looking at the menu.

"I can't be picky about food, so it's up to you," I answered him. He raised his hand and I saw that a waitress who was wearing a very short dress came quickly, to the point that she was only able to see it. Her chest also looks like she's about to spit because of the clothes she's almost wearing.

"What's your order, sir?" I don't know if I should laugh or what because his voice is like a pinched horse and it has something to attract.

"Give us Lobster, Stuffed Rigatoni, Carrot Purée, Corn Sabayon, strip steak, Kobe Beef," Reigo said.

"And for dessert give us 2 servings of Golden Opulence Sundae and serve us Screaming Eagle Cabernet Sauvignon wine." He said next and dropped the menu he was holding to the side.

"Noted sir, please wait for 15 minutes before serving the food." The waitress said flirtatiously and marched off.

I looked at Reigo and saw him looking at me so I was a little lost, I just took the menu he was looking at earlier to avoid his eyes on me.

When I saw the menu, I felt like I saw a ghost because of the high prices, especially the one he ordered earlier.

Lobster, Stuffed Rigatoni, Carrot Purée, Corn Sabayon, strip steak, Kobe Beef.

Price $150

It was so expensive, and it was like normal food, I gasped because of the size of the price. Next, if you look at the second order he ordered strip steak.

And the price is $120 Then the Kobe Beef is $177 I looked at him in disbelief.

"How good is the food here and that how expensive is it?" I asked him weakly.

"Wife, this restaurant is the most expensive here in the Philippines, and besides I don't want to take you to a cheap restaurant." He said as if he didn't care.

I looked down at the menu I was holding and my eyes widened when I saw the price of the dessert he ordered and the wine he also ordered.

Golden Opulence Sundae $1,000

Screaming Eagle Cabernet Sauvignon $4,640

"Oh my god, hubby, aren't you wasting it?" I asked him in surprise.

“Wife, I wouldn't be a billionaire; if I simply bought cheap foods to feed you, you're too lovely for me to serve you cheap meals.” He said.

"Seriously." I can't believe it as I asked him.

"Oh yeah, I forgot you're a billionaire so it's not difficult for you to take out billions of money." I just answered because what else could I expect from a billionaire I just shook my head.

"Are you mad? If you want I can cancel our order and let's go to the restaurant you want to eat with." He said so I shook my head quickly because it was a waste of an order.

"No, as long as you are the one who will pay." I quickly answered him.

I saw the waitress earlier approaching us while pushing something and I knew she was about to serve the foods that Reigo ordered earlier.
