Morning at Mr. Mac's residence. Natalie is having breakfast with her father.
"Natalie, instead of doing nothing in this city, how about you open a boutique? Well, just to keep yourself busy, you know, dear? Dad's money will never run out even if I throw it here and there, ha ha ha," Mr. Mac said, expressing concern for his daughter, who seemed to have no occupation.
"Dad always has ideas," Natalie replied with her sweet smile. "But Dad's idea is not bad either. How about collaborating with the textile company you helped last year?" she continued while still enjoying her breakfast.
"Hmm, I'll think about it again. Oh, by the way, there's a party at the Jandee family's residence tonight. Don't forget, you have to accompany me," Mr. Mac invited his beloved daughter.
"Don't worry, Dad, wherever you go, I'll accompany you," Natalie replied.
"Ha ha ha, enjoy your breakfast, dear," Mr. Mac told her with a happy expression.
Natalie just nodded, agreeing with her father's words.
...
That day, Natalie wanted to explore and find an empty building. She wanted to choose a building located on the roadside because, according to her, the location was very strategic.
Natalie asked for her father's permission, and Mr. Mac allowed her. Natalie started her car, the one she always used everywhere, and drove swiftly out of her luxurious home's driveway.
During the journey to find the location, Natalie felt lonely. She immediately took her phone and called Hans.
Meanwhile, elsewhere, Hans was in a meeting with his employees. Hans had put his phone on silent mode during the meeting. He checked his phone when it vibrated, wondering who could be calling him during the meeting.
As soon as he saw the name on his phone, Hans smiled. He immediately stopped the meeting with an excuse that didn't make much sense. But who could stop him?
The meeting was finally halted, and Hans quickly stood up and answered the phone.
"Hello?" a soft voice was heard, making Hans blush even more.
"Hello Natalie, what's up?" Hans asked.
"Um, I'm a bit confused right now. Can you help me?" Natalie asked while continuing to drive her car.
"Oh, of course. What can I help you with, Natalie?" Hans asked through his phone.
"I'm having trouble finding a suitable building for my boutique. Can you help me look for one?" Natalie asked hopefully.
"Ha ha, of course, that's very easy, Natalie. Where are you right now? Let me come to your location," Hans offered to come to Natalie so that Maria couldn't find out about this.
"Um, I'm on Sigura Street No.8. I'm in the parking lot right now. I'll wait for you at the cafeteria," Natalie replied while parking her car.
"All right, wait for me there. I'll hang up now," Hans said, closing the phone with Natalie.
Elsewhere, Natalie walked to the cafeteria and ordered two drinks: iced cappuccino and vanilla frappe with extra ice cream. Shortly after, Natalie's order arrived, and she enjoyed her favorite vanilla frappe.
After waiting for a while, Hans arrived and waved his hand. Natalie responded with a sweet smile.
"Have you been waiting long?" Hans asked while glancing at the table with Natalie's ordered drinks.
"Not really, please sit down; you must be tired. Have a drink first; I've ordered a drink for you," Natalie said while offering the iced cappuccino she had ordered earlier.
Hans looked puzzled when he saw the iced cappuccino. He frowned as if he found the drink strange. Natalie, noticing this, was also puzzled.
"Sir? Don't you like it? Should I exchange it?" Natalie asked in confusion.
"Oh! No, it's just that this is my favorite drink. It's a coincidence," Hans replied while looking at the drink Natalie ordered.
"Wh-what about vanilla frappe? With extra ice cream on top?" Hans looked confused again.
"Hmm? This? Yes, I really like the taste of vanilla, and also ice cream, so I added it. Oh, by the way, try smelling my wrist, sir. I'm also wearing vanilla perfume because its scent is so soft," Natalie chatted while offering her hand.
Hans then smelled Natalie's wrist, who was wearing vanilla perfume. Now Hans's face looked pale, as if he felt déjà vu within himself.
"I-it's just that Jessie is the only one who knows that iced cappuccino is my favorite drink, and vanilla frappe with double ice cream is her favorite. Even the vanilla-scented perfume, Jessie always wears it. What's going on here? Is it just a coincidence? Or is she Jessie?" Hans said to himself while daydreaming.
"Sir? Mr. Hans?" Natalie called worriedly about Hans's suddenly pale face.
"Oh, yeah? What was that?" Hans asked in confusion.
"My wrist, sir, I'm wearing vanilla perfume. Hmm, forget it, is today not a good day for you? I see your face looks very pale," Natalie asked.
Before Hans could answer, a male waiter accidentally spilled a drink right next to Natalie, making her skirt wet.
Natalie, who had always appeared gentle, was now furious.
"Aaaawwww!" Natalie screamed in surprise.
"Oh, I apologize, madam. It was an accident," the waiter said with a trembling voice.
Natalie stood up from her seat and immediately scolded the waiter.
"You! How could you spill it right next to me? So rude! Your salary alone is not enough to cover the dry cleaning costs for my expensive dress!" Natalie scolded the waiter.
Hans, who saw Natalie angry, tried to calm her down.
"Calm down, Natalie, maybe he didn't mean to," Hans said while holding the woman.
"No, sir, this dress is a gift from my father. I can't wear it again after being splashed with this drink. All of this is because of you, you stupid waiter!" Natalie cursed the waiter again.
"Enough, Natalie, let's find you new clothes," Hans suggested. And they left the cafeteria.
Throughout the journey, Hans thought hard. Initially, he thought the woman in front of him was Jessie, his ex-wife who had been declared dead. However, after the incident, he was sure that the woman was not Jessie but Natalie.
Hans remembered vividly when Jessie was scalded with hot soup in a restaurant. Instead of blaming the employee, Jessie blamed herself for not positioning herself as a customer.
This was in stark contrast to Natalie's behavior, who even discussed the employee's salary. Because of this, she was considered very rude.
Hans began to feel relieved because he thought maybe the drink was just a coincidence.
