The dining table atmosphere looks so quiet. Areum and Saga are sitting at the same table, but they continue to give each other the silent treatment.
"After treating me like that, he remains silent and doesn't apologize to me at all?" Areum is annoyed.

Because she is too angry, Areum cuts her meat quite forcefully, making a bit of noise. Saga, who has never heard or seen Areum like this, frowns in confusion. Saga is about to ask but refrains from doing so, seeing Areum's angry face.

Shortly after, Saga clears his throat softly, remembering Areum's request for a divorce. Hearing Saga clear his throat, Areum looks up and looks at the man who is still her husband.

"About your divorce request, can we postpone it for another month? The company is about to take over another micro-enterprise. I'm afraid this will impact the company's stocks if our divorce is heard outside," Saga says.

"Ah... I see. Alright." Areum agrees to Saga's request without asking too many questions or protesting. Areum then busies herself with eating again and doesn't look at Saga.

Saga sighs heavily and finishes his meal. "I'm done. I'll go to the office now," Saga excuses himself.

"Em," Areum nods without even looking at Saga.

Areum's current attitude takes Saga aback. Usually, Areum would be very attentive to him not finishing his meal. But now, Areum is ignoring Saga.

"Is it so painful that you don't have any feelings left for me, Areum_a?" Saga thinks to himself while continuing to stare at Areum, who is busy eating, to avoid eye contact.

Since the last conversation between Saga and Areum at the dining table, Saga keeps his distance from Areum. They no longer eat together, and after work, Saga prefers to stay in his office. Honestly, Areum is worried about Saga's health, but she doesn't want to show her concern to Saga. Areum wants to completely separate from Saga and leave no memories behind with him.

Tae Jun has just come out of his room; he overhears his parents' conversation faintly. Tae Jun stays where he is and abandons his plan to go to the living room.

"Half of Daehan Group's shares are already in Saga's name. As for Tae Jun, I gave him 1/4," Mr. Min says.

Tae Jun's eyes widen upon hearing his father's statement. "How is that possible? Isn't Tae Jun your biological son, the one more entitled to Daehan Group?" Mrs. Min wonders.

Mr. Min sounds slightly amused. "He's independent with his own company now. He no longer needs my support. Unlike Saga, since he came with you to this house, he has been so dependent on me, and that's why I feel like a complete father to him. I have to support Saga until the end."

Mr. Min's answer successfully makes Tae Jun clench his fists. "Once again, Saga is put in the number one spot," Tae Jun mutters softly.

In another place, Saga and Areum are in court. They are both filing for divorce. According to Saga's request to postpone it for a month, today is the day Saga thinks it is right to part ways with Areum. After leaving the divorce filing room, Saga walks behind Areum, unable to divert his gaze from her.

"Must we part like this?" Saga wonders.

Once outside the courthouse, Areum looks back and gazes at Saga for a moment. "Today, I'm moving out of the apartment," Areum says.

"Ah, why?" Saga asks, not believing that Areum is choosing to move so quickly. Their divorce hearing has yet to start.

"I feel like I don't have the right to stay there anymore. Besides, I already have another apartment, and my new job is not far from my apartment," Areum explains.

Saga doesn't respond immediately; he continues to gaze at Areum. Seeing Areum's face without any doubt, Saga has no more reasons to refuse Areum's request.

"It's up to you," Saga says and then leaves without looking at Areum.

Areum looks at herself in the mirror; today is the last day of her divorce trial with Saga. She gazes at her reflection, then takes a deep breath and gently wipes her face.

"Soon we will truly part ways and have no connection at all," Areum says while looking at a photo of Saga that she secretly stuck to the mirror, unknown to anyone.

Areum's hand reaches out and gently strokes Saga's face. Areum smiles faintly, but tears fall without command.

"At least I have been your wife, slept in your embrace, and been the luckiest woman to have you, Saga. I don't regret my choice to marry you. After this, be happy without me," Areum monologues.

At the front steps of the courthouse, Saga extends his hand to Areum. They are officially divorced now. Areum doesn't immediately shake Saga's hand; instead, she looks at Saga's extended hand.

"Don't want to shake my hand for the last time?" Saga asks.

"Ah? Why the last time?" Areum asks innocently, looking at Saga now.

Saga smiles faintly and then gently holds Areum's cheek. He also strokes her former wife's cheek carefully. "You don't want to meet me anymore. Then what else if not the last time?" Saga says.

Areum feels Saga's cold hand on her cheek; she feels the tenderness of Saga's touch on her cheek. Areum really wants to hold Saga's hand now.

"Be happy without me, Areum_a. You're a good woman who will find a good man. I'm sorry I couldn't be a good husband to you," Saga says.

Hearing Saga's somewhat sad words, Areum sheds tears. Areum rushes to hug Saga tightly. Areum then sobs on Saga's broad chest.
Saga pats Areum's back gently. He takes a deep breath and hugs tightly the woman whose freedom he took away by binding her with a fake marriage.

"Sorry, Areum_a," Saga whispers.

"Hello, why haven't you done it yet?" Tae Jun asks.

"Then when?" he asks again.

"I want you to do everything as soon as possible. There's no excuse anymore, so don't think too long. Execute quickly!" Tae Jun orders.

Tae Jun then throws his phone carelessly onto the table. Tae Jun looks at the family photo on his desk. Tae Jun quickly flips the small photo frame. He takes a deep breath and looks away.

The sound of a knock on the door makes Tae Jun shift his gaze towards the door. "Come in!" he says briefly.

Not long after, his office door opens, and his secretary enters with the file Tae Jun requested.

"This is the information file about Mrs. Areum, Sir."

"Eo, thank you. Now get out!"

Tae Jun's secretary nods her head and leaves Tae Jun's office. After his secretary goes, Tae Jun reads the information about Areum. Tae Jun's eyes widen at some of the assets Areum currently owns.

"Is this the reason they are getting divorced? So, all this time, their marriage was fake?" Tae Jun wonders.

Elsewhere, Saga has just left a cafe where he had an appointment with the office lawyer who provided the prenuptial agreement and some rights for Areum that Saga had prepared.
Saga is a bit surprised to see Areum running across the street with an envelope. Saga was about to approach Areum, but she had already seen him.

"Stay there! We need to talk," Areum yells from across the street.

Saga stops his steps and waits for Areum to cross. Areum then crosses the road after making sure no vehicles will pass. Unexpectedly, a Range Rover quickly approaches her. Seeing this, Saga fast runs to the middle of the road and pushes Areum to the side, getting hit by the car himself. Saga is thrown far and lies bleeding on the cold asphalt.

"Saga!" Areum screams hysterically when she realises that her ex-husband took her place and got hit by the car.
