"Well, thank you for bringing us souvenirs," said Mrs. Min, who received the paper bag from Areum's hand.
"Don't be so shy, Eommonim. These are just ordinary souvenirs," said Areum.
"You should take Areum on trips abroad more often. When you were with Junsu, you never bought Eomma souvenirs like this," Mrs. Min said, looking at her son.
"Tsk, why are you still protesting, Eomma? There are already souvenirs. Let's just replace the ones that have passed," said Saga with an annoyed snort.
"Yes! It's not a protest. I'm just making a suggestion," said Mrs. Min, denying Saga's words.
"Consider it the same!" said Saga irritably.
Areum chuckled to see that Saga and her mother-in-law could be this funny when interacting. Mr. Min, who had just been looking at Areum, cleared his throat softly. Areum looked at her father-in-law, then patted her forehead lightly, realizing something.
"Sorry, Aboenim, I didn't know what to get for you. So I only bought one for Eommonim," Areum said suddenly.
Mr. Min widened his eyes in disbelief, and he had cleared his throat earlier instead of asking for souvenirs. Saga herself then looked at her father when she heard Areum's words.
"Appa, are you jealous that Eomma got a souvenir?" Saga asked to the point.
Again, Mr. Min widened his eyes now. He was surprised by Saga's words, too. How could his son and daughter-in-law think like that now?
"Yes! Who's jealous, and who's asking for souvenirs? I just wanted to ask if you guys are happy to be able to work while on vacation in Japan," said Mr. Min, who didn't want souvenirs. Just seeing Areum's happy smile, he also felt happy and more than being given souvenirs.
"Oh, I think Aboenim also wants souvenirs," Areum said innocently.
Saga looked at his wife and chuckled, as did Mrs. Min and Mr. Min.
"Tomorrow we go to Appa and Eomma's house?" asked Areum during dinner with Saga in their apartment.
"Um, didn't you also buy souvenirs for them?" asked Saga while looking at Areum.
"That's right."
"Then, why are you still asking?"
"Yes, but aren't you tired of going there with me? Em, let me drive myself. How about it?"
Areum gave her husband an idea. Saga's brow furrowed in confusion.
"Why do you have to do that? You just never get tired of following me around. If I'm just going to my in-laws' house, why should I get tired," Saga said later.
Areum fell silent at Saga's words.
"What will happen if she comes to deliver these souvenirs? I'm not past this yet?" Areum thought to herself.
"Areum, you're daydreaming to yourself again. What are you thinking about right now?"
Saga's voice broke Areum's trance. The girl then looked at Saga and shook her head slowly.
"Eo, let's just live with it. Who knows what will happen in the future, but I don't want to part with Saga in this life," Areum said silently.
"Alright, tomorrow we go to Eomma and Appa's place. It also happens to be Sunday tomorrow. They usually make delicious food every weekend," said Areum, finally agreeing to her husband's will to go see his parents.

"Aigoo, why bother like this?" Mrs. Kang said while receiving souvenirs from Saga's hand.
"No hassle, Eommonim. I happened to go abroad with Areum, so I bought this for you and Aboenim," Saga replied politely.
"Ah? Areum went abroad? She doesn't want to go abroad every time I tell her to take a vacation," said Mr. Kang, who heard Saga's words.
"I don't like flying, Appa," Areum replied.
"Then, what did you do abroad yesterday? By car? 'It's impossible. Just say you're afraid of getting on a plane. Didn't Appa already know that," Mr. Kang said again.
"This trip is different, Appa." Areum snorted in annoyance.
"He's going with me, Aboenim. It's different," Saga interrupted Areum and Mr. Kang's conversation.
Mr. Kang looked at Saga and then laughed loudly.
"Right, it's different. She's going with her husband, so even if she gets on a plane, she won't be afraid," said Mr. Kang in between his laughter.
"That's right, Aboenim. Areum isn't afraid of anything when she's with me because she's sure I'll always take care of her," Saga said again while grasping Areum's hand tightly.
Areum looked at Saga with teary eyes.
"If only this weren't your charade, Saga," Areum thought.
After chatting a little longer with Areum's parents, now Areum was in the kitchen looking right and left. She seemed to be experiencing Deja Vu and remembered that the atmosphere now was the same when she found out that Saga married her because her father's company was about to go bankrupt. At that time, Areum was angry and asked for an immediate divorce. But, now, Areum didn't want to divorce her husband.
"At this rate, my and Saga's divorce is getting closer. How can I cancel it?" said Areum quietly while continuing to cut up the sausage she would cook for dinner.
"Think Kang Areum, don't just sit there and go with the flow!" Areum monologued until her hand was cut off.
"Aw..."
Areum squealed a little loudly. Saga, who had been behind Areum, continued to watch his wife cooking while talking to himself, then ran quickly towards Areum.
"You, this is sloppy. So don't cook while talking to yourself!"
Saga took Areum to the dishwasher and cleaned the fresh blood flowing from Areum's finger with running water. Areum was a little surprised that Saga was suddenly in the kitchen. That day, Saga was even chatting with her father.
"Saga," Areum softly called her husband's name.
"Eo, it's me. Wae? Do you find it strange that I'm here? Or, did you forget that I came here?" asked Saga, who then turned off the water faucet and looked at Areum.
"That's not it," said Areum quietly.
"Then?"
Areum's head just shook in response to Saga's next question. Saga then sighed deeply and heavily.
"Once at the apartment, I won't forget and won't delay questioning you again. You're getting too weird, Areum_a," said Saga then.
"Weird, how?" asked Areum.
Saga rounded her eyes in disbelief at Areum's question. She wasn't blind now that Areum often talked to herself, daydreamed, and stared intently at her. What else would she call it if it wasn't strange?
"You are strange. Stop cooking already! Let's order some food, and you rest. I'll play chess and chat with Aboenim," Areum said.
Areum widened her eyes, and this scene was happening right then. The difference was that, unlike this scene, Saga, who was about to leave, was restrained by Areum's hand.
"Wae?" asked Saga in surprise.
"I'm coming," Areum pleaded.
"Come where? I'll get you a plaster for your wound there first," said Saga while pointing to the small cabinet near the refrigerator.
Areum's eyes followed the direction Saga pointed. Areum then realized her stupidity for thinking too much. Areum patted her forehead and let go of Saga's hand. Saga herself chuckled at Areum's random behavior. Saga then went to the closet smiling and held his cheeks, which felt stiff and hot.
"How can she be this funny now?" Saga kept thinking that Areum was so cute.
