Ron was shocked as he glared at his daughter who has never spoken for anything.
"Dear, you can meet my grandson," Grace Fernandez tried to convince Clara.
"Please, Grandma. Don't force me." Clara replied with a soft plea, and the lady seemed to understand her instantly. She smiled at Clara and kissed her forehead.
"Anyways, I am happy to see you." Grace smiled back and sat near Clara.
Grace started talking casually about her family to Clara and gave so many hints about her grandson. Clara could conclude that it was Alex Fernandez. She knew about him. She read many articles about him.
But her heart filled with sudden disappointment. She thought as if she pushed her luck away. Soon she changed her expression. Marriage is nothing but a betrayal. She always recites this and she had a great determination to never let this spoil her life.
Clara walked to her room once they all left the place. She was shocked to see the state of her room. Her clothes, her items, everything were messed up and there stood Elsa and Elena with their usual smirk.
Clara bends down to take the particular dress which was her mother's gown. It was torn apart like a trash.
"Oops. My bad. I thought you would agree to marry Alex. So I wanted to show you, what will happen if you agree to marry him." Elsa said and stood there with no regret. Clara glared at Elsa and wanted to smash her head for real. But instead, she picked up the pieces of the gown.
"Princess, why did you worry? I had already made sure that she wouldn't say yes." Elena came behind her with a smirk.
Clara stood up from the floor in panic. Did she do anything bad to Paxton?
"Don't panic. Your brother is fine as long as you don't say yes." Elena laughed and Clara was relieved to hear them. They are the worst people in the whole universe.
"In just a few days, as per my grandma's will, my mom's property will be in my name once I am 24 years old. I will leave this place forever with Paxton." Clara thought to herself and a sigh of relief passed her orbs.
"It's even boring to blackmail her. See how she is standing there." Elena seemed to get pissed off to the next level. Clara always stayed unaffected by their words and it surely was not a likeable one.
"Her mouth works as fire whenever she is with me alone," Elsa spoke the fact for a hundred per cent. Elsa at least got to see the real Clara for at least ten per cent.
"Whatever. We should now focus on getting your proposal for Alex," Elena whispered to Elsa.
Clara was surprised. She just saw Elsa kissing another guy a few days ago. And now she is excited to get married to Alex? Clara could never understand their strategy. So she collected her mom's dress and started designing another one.

The hall seemed so silent as Alex entered his home. He wondered how his home is this silent.
A high laughter filled the place as soon as he entered the place. It was surely his father's voice. Alex came there to see what exactly they were talking about.
"She refused to marry my handsome grandson," Grace Fernandez spoke with sadness. Her lips gave a huge pout. It was not a sad pout but a teasing pout.
"Omg, someone rejected my son?" Frank exclaimed loud enough and Alex rolled his eyes.
"How can anyone reject the most eligible bachelor of the city?" Roselyn Fernandez, his sister, asked with a fake faint as Alex sat opposite the crazy family that was teasing him black and blue.
"Should we celebrate this?" Mac, his secretary joined the team as he switched on his friend mode.
"Should I reconsider your pay this month?" Alex asked and Mac took his phone, pretending to attend a conference call about the next project, showing he was damn concerned about his pay alone.
"You didn't even ask my opinion. I am not," Alex started as all the three spoke in the union.
"Not ready for the marriage" All the three laughed as if they had cracked a big joke.
Alex sighed tiredly. Why is it so hard to understand?
"Should I be the old and cunning woman to blackmail my grandson to get married or forget about the family empire?" Grace asked as her eyes twinkled with the thought alone.
"How about I join you and make his life miserable by snatching his credit cards and every luxury thing?" Frank seemed to like the idea. Rose was damn enjoying the scene.
"How about you all play in the hall and leave my room now?" Alex asked, standing up as if he was exhausted from their drama. Grace stood up with a worried face. She is sad. She couldn't watch her grandchildren like this.
"I wish for you to get married soon. We won't force anything. But try to consider our wish" Grace is always wise to convince anyone with her words. Even though it's not emotional, it hits right at heart. Of course, he can't be selfish and mourn over his past over the years.
"It's high time you move on. So, we can at least take steps to convince Rose. Why are you still holding on to the past?" Frank sighed tiredly.
"If you are not ready to move on, there is no way we can expect anything from Rose," Frank spoke with dismay. Rose's face turned dark with his words.
Alex looked at his little sister. She deserves a happy life. If he can do anything for her, why not? But is he ready? Alex and Rose sat there in complete silence.
"You can't stay single forever. Just say yes to Dad. They will find a good partner for you. You can't just waste your life." Rose spoke, keeping a hand over his shoulder. Alex sighed tiredly.
