The Last Chapter

Thyro Raven Madrigal POV's

ONE month since the terrible tragedy happened on the cliff. Two lives have been lost and one life is at risk. When Lance and Ausha fell down the cliff at the same time, it was as if I had lost my breath.

I also tried to jump to follow and save Ausha but the Police promptly stopped me. The Rescuer immediately arrived at the area and conducted rescue operations in the area at the bottom of the cliff on its coast. It took almost an hour before Lance's body was found floating not far away, it was a cold corpse that the rescuers got. It took twenty minutes before they found Ausha's body which was also floating.

I felt weak as she was taken to the bank, the rescuer pushed her, they checked her body. Tears fell from my eyes, My eyes were blurred, even though I came closer and knelt in front of her and held her cold hand.

"M-My... Ausha, wake up p-please don't leave me please," I begged as I planted a kiss on her cold hand.

"She still has a pulse!" the rescuer informed me. They immediately did their job, they did CPR on her while examining some parts of her body, the color of her left leg was violet, her clothes were full of blood but it was a little lighter because the sea water had removed it.

We were immediately taken to the Hospital, we rode in the same ambulance, because I didn't want to leave her, I didn't want to lose her from my sight and most of all I didn't want to lose our Baby.

God I don't know but I'm shocked when I found out that I'm the Father of the one she's carrying. I'm glad, no words are enough to explain how happy I am that I'm finally going to be a Dad. But now I'm worried about their situation, I won't let even one of them get lost. I pray without ceasing to save them, I can't bear to lose any of them.

After we arrived at the Hospital, they immediately took us to the emergency room. Some Nurses and Doctors blocked me when I tried to follow the Operating Room where they admitted Ausha.

"DAMN! LET ME GO, MY GIRLFRIEND NEEDS ME!" When I disappeared, many people were looking at me but damn I don't fucking care.

"It's not possible Sir, you need to be treated first!" said a Doctor who interrupted me.

"I don't care, my Girlfriend needs me, as well as our Baby, damn save them, please!" I cried for mercy while trying to break free from their grip.

"We will do our best to save them both, sir, calm down, let me treat you, my co-doctors will take care of them," she said calmly.

"Please save them, please, please..." I begged as I looked at the door where they brought Ausha to the OR (Operating Room).

"Don't worry, my co-doctors will save them sir, now we have to treat you first, your condition is quite bad sir." Even though it was hard inside, I didn't insist on entering the OR where my Girlfriend and Baby were.

They treated me, removed the scar on my arm and put gauze on it. Cassius and Ashish also came when they heard about my condition. They bought food but I don't feel like eating until I know if my queen and child are okay, I'm worried about them now. It's been an hour and a half and still nothing so I'm very worried them.

"Brother Raven sit down, I'm the one who makes you dizzy," Cassius complained while looking at the cell phone.

"Yeah right, your face looks like you're pooping, beastfriend, just fuck calm down," Ashish promised with a laugh.

I looked at Ashish badly. "Damn you, shut up bastard!" I promise.

While the walk goes back and forth without stopping. Suddenly, the door of the OR opened and the Doctor came out, so I immediately went there.

"Doc, how are my girlfriend and child? Are they safe? Tell me, Doc, did I save them both?" I asked one question after another. Ashish and Cassius also came closer. The Doctor patted my shoulder.

"I have good news and bad news for you Mr. Madrigal," he said seriously and also looked at my companion. I couldn't stop myself from collaring him and pushing him against the wall.

"What are you talking about? What bad news? Damn, answer me!" I shouted, I couldn't help but get angry because I was too worried about my queen and child. I was immediately separated by the two

"Brother Raven, relax," Cassius said while taking me away from the Doctor.

I shook Cassius and faced the Doctor who was shaking with fear and shock. I took a deep breath to calm my system, my heart pounding non-stop with anger, worry and sadness.

The Doctor tasted it and swallowed it. "The good news is that your girlfriend is safe but she's in a coma—"

"WHAT?" I felt like my ears were pricked by what he said.

"She had a wound on her head and that caused her to be comatose," he explained.

I shook my head and looked at him angrily. "And my child?"

He sighed and smiled hesitantly. "We do our job, we did everything to save the child but it was very affected and according to her OB-Gyne the child's attachment is really weak, I'm sorry but we couldn't save your baby Mr. Madrigal." I was deaf to what he said as if my world stopped, my right hand trembled and held on to him and without thinking twice I punched him so that he fell to the floor. When I punched him again Ashish and Cassius pulled me away again.

"That's enough Beastfriend," Ashish snapped but I ignored him.

"Why didn't you save my child? You're a doctor and you just let my child die? You're useless Doctor, you let my child die?!" I cried and shouted at him as he pulled me away from the Doctor.

Some policemen also came after hearing my scream in the OR. It was Cassius who spoke to the Police and eventually left.

"I'm sorry Mr. Madrigal but I'm not a God. We only prolong life but we don't raise the dead, I'm sorry," he said and left.

I just sat on the chair and cried, I can't accept that I will lose my child, I know that Ausha will be hurt more when she finds out and I can't accept that she is comatose even more.

When she was taken out of the OR she had a tube in her mouth, bruises on her face, hands and thighs. I took the best room for her, Ashish and Cassius said goodbye before going to buy and get my clothes.

Many devices are attached to her body and there is also a monitor next to her. I can't help but blame myself because I'm also at fault, our plan set-up went awry and turned into a horrible event that I never thought someone would lose their life.

If only I had done what I wanted, nothing like this would have happened, but in the end I regretted it. Lance and Ausha's married contact is fake, I fake it. I even conned the Father to choose the marriage contract they will sign.

I will not let her marry my cousin. All the meetings and accidental ones were planned by me from the beginning, except for the Airport where we met for the first time since we were children.

At their engagement party, I actually planned to approach her and kiss her. But that at the groom's party wasn't intentional, something happened to us there because I also wanted it because I knew it was her, the girl who had been part of my life for a long time. I used to follow her to El Trinity Mall with her best friend.

Lance's parents were shocked and couldn't believe what happened to him, he chose to die rather than pay for his crime in prison. His mom couldn't stop crying while her husband comforted her. They take care of their child.

A month passed and Ausha still didn't wake up but I didn't give up. While she was in a coma I did the jobs I had left. Fortunately I have good and reliable people to handle some of my business with others. different places here in the Philippines. Nanny Fell took care of Ausha while she was still in a coma. Even Nanny was very sad to hear that Lance died.

It's been two weeks since Lance was buried. I also helped with their hospital bills and the hill. Somehow I forgave him but my son's life that I lost because of him can't be restored.

Another month has passed and she is still comatose, according to the doctor she is safe just waiting to wake up but still nothing so I am worried for her. I'm here today in the conference room listening to a stockholders report.

*RINGGGGG RINGGGGG*

They stopped reporting and turned their attention to me when my cell phone rang. I signaled to continue and answered the call.

"Yes Nanny Fell, is there a problem?"

"H-Hija, hija Ausha—" I stood up suddenly.

"What happened to her Nanny Fell?" I asked her abruptly, suddenly nervous. The reporter stopped again.

"Come here now Hijo, she's awake, Hija Ausha is awake," I heard my her crying. As if my heart was celebrating, as my heart was beating strong and fast, I smiled.

"Alright, I'm on my way." I hung up and faced them.

"I'm sorry but I need to go."

"B-But Sir—" interjected an investor.

"This is important, we will continue this meeting another day," I said and left immediately.

Because of the excitement and I ran, I didn't use the elevator because it took a long time and I took the stairs from the Sixth floor to the ground floor. I immediately started the car and drove it fast. I'm restless during the drive, how is she? Is she looking for me?

It took me five minutes to drive and I arrived at the Hospital immediately. I opened the door of her room. Many doctors who surrounded her greeted me. They looked at me because of the strength of my opening the door that created noise.

I saw her breathing and her eyes open, there was no tube in her mouth. I think they removed it because she was awake. My legs were trembling as I approached her bed, when our eyes met she burst into tears and eventually abundant tears flowed from her bright eyes.

"T... Thyro..." she whispered. I couldn't stop kissing her on the forehead and hugging her tightly.

"M-My Queen, your a-awake? Thank God!" I murmured. I moved away from her and held her face, I wiped her tears, I smiled. The Doctor patted my shoulder.

"She's fine, we've removed the tube, but she'll have a bit of difficulty speaking because of the tube that's been attached to her for two months, but she's okay," Doc Davidson nodded. He was the one who operated on Ausha and the Doctor who I punched.

"Thank you Doc." They left with the few devices that were attached to Ausha, except for the dextrose that was attached to the one that was left behind and the oxygen that was attached to her. I turned to her again and caressed her tear-filled cheek.

"How's your feeling, My Shasha?" She held her stomach and I couldn't help but cry because I didn't want to see her cry and hurt especially since we lost our baby because of my negligence.

"T... Thyro, o-our b-baby? He's... O-Okay?" she asked in a whispered one. I shook my head and hugged her again, because it hurt me to see her hurt and crying. I heard her sob so I hugged her even tighter while kissing her forehead.

"N-No... y-you're lying Thyro Raven... Tucker Theodore is not d-died, no, no..." she cried. I shook my head gently stroking her hair, we continued like that for ten minutes until she calmed down.

Her eyes are red and slightly swollen from crying. I was sitting on her bed while hugging me.

"I'm... so-sorry, I didn't tell you about my p-pregnancy right away, I-I tried but it always g-gets in the way. It's my f-fault that's why the our child died, I'm so-sorry, s-sorry!" she cried again.

"No, it's not your fault okay? Don't blame yourself, My Queen. I'm sorry too, because I didn't think it was a result of what happened before, I'm sorry. I don't care, Boyfriend, I neglected you, I'm sorry My Shasha," I complained.

Ausha cupped my face and smiled. "It's n-not your f-fault, Thyro. Can you tell me how I've been comatose since Lance and I fell off the cliff? Where's Lance?" I swallowed and sighed and told her the events, and again she cried when she found out that Lance died from falling into the sea, his head was hit by a sharp rock on his chin and he was almost unrecognizable because the damage to his head even in other parts of his body and he couldn't handle it and lost his life completely. It's hard and painful to lose the love of your life suddenly and without saying goodbye, but that's life.

We spent another Sunday in the hospital for Ausha's recovery. The wound is slowly healing but it will not remove the pain it caused. Sometimes I caught her crying in the middle of the night, the only thing I could do was comfort her and sympathize when she was crying.

Today is the day he will be released from the hospital, we have already discussed that it would be better if he lives in Manila first, she wants to be with her family again so we will go there straight after she is released. Npanny fell was sad because she and Kliara were the only ones left Lance's big house. But she understood Ausha's condition, she needed to heal and forget.

This incident had a great influence on her life and I am the only one who can help the girl I love rise again from sadness and bad events that happened in the past.

She was speechless as we drove down the road to their subdivision, Butler Daxton was driving while I was beside her watching her. Ever since she found out that our son and Lance were gone, she became quiet and always deep in thought.

Doc Davidson said she needs to always be with her and talk to her because if this continues she may develop depression, so as long as possible I don't leave her, I also bathe her, take care of her from when she wakes up from the coma. Butler Daxton parked the car in front of their mansion, Daxton honked his horn for the butler to open the main gate to let the car in.

We got out of the car and the assistant greeted us politely, he was even surprised to see Ausha so she immediately entered the mansion. Just as we were about to enter, the main door opened and a shocked Tito Vladimir greeted us. Ausha let go of hugging me and she burst into tears, she hugged Tito who was looking at me. I nodded and smiled.

He led the Ausha and we sat in the living room. Ausha still couldn't stop crying, Tito frowned as he watched his daughter cry, I sighed and stood up.

"Uncle, Ausha needs to rest first, I will explain everything to you later," I said directly as I led her son upright.

Tito nodded even though he was confused by his daughter behavior, he just nodded. I took Ausha to her room before going to bed and made her drink medicine. Before I left her, he must have been asleep.

I couldn't help but observe her peaceful face while sleeping. The wounds on her face and body have healed but the wound in her heart has not yet and I understand her because it hurts to lose a child. The assistant said Tito was in the pool area so I stayed there.

Tito was sitting while drinking expensive wine while reading a magazine, when he noticed me he motioned to the opposite seat, I sat there. He brought me some wine and I immediately took it and drank it, feeling its heat and bitterness down my throat.

"Uncle-"

"What really happened to my daughter, Hijo Thyro? And what killed his husband Lance?" asked Uncle Vladimir.

I sighed and told the story of what happened, Tito couldn't believe what I said, he even got a little angry with me because he said I was a coward. But he can't do anything because that was also part of my plan from the beginning. He was surprised to learn that his daughter had a miscarriage.

Yes, he was happy to know that his daughter was pregnant and I was the father, but he was also immediately saddened to lose baby Tucker Theodore.

I also told him what Doc Davidson told me and Tito offered that I stay here first and I will take care of her daughter, I immediately agreed to his offer. After we talked, I ordered Butler Daxton to go home to the mansion first because he had nothing to do here but I assigned him some work while I was here with Tito.

I arranged Ausha's belongings carefully and meticulously her clothes were piled up, there was nothing new in her position since I left her earlier. After I fixed it, I sat on the bed and watched her, her skin and lips were a little pale, she didn't eat as well as he used to when we were on the island, so she lost a little weight and her body curve came out more.

My cell phone rang and I immediately answered it because he might wake up from her deep sleep. I opened the glass wall in her room and closed it a little.

"Hello who's this?"

"Mr. Madrigal I'm Attorney Ion Ledesma the Attorney of Mr. Lance Callens. I was called to give her wife, his Last Will Testament for her," he answered.

I stood up and tasted it. "Okay, tomorrow the Attorney comes to Buendias mansion, we are here."

"Okay, Mr. Madrigal, thanks for your time."

"Thank you too." I sighed and looked at her, it was past twelve noon so I woke her up to eat lunch.

Ausha and I were eating side by side and I couldn't help but support her and watch over her. Tito Vladimir and his two older brothers, Maven and Kaven, were looking at us.

After we finished eating, I made Ausha drink some medicine and I decided to take her for a walk to the Park so that she wouldn't get bored at home. I opened the car door for her and held her hand, she slightly smiled at me.

"Where do you want to go, My Queen Shasha?" I asked while we were walking.

"I want ice cream, can I have that?" she requested. I nodded and we approached the seller not far away.

"Cone or cup?" I asked.

"Cup," she answered.

"Two chocolate ice cream, sir, in the cup." After getting the ice cream I paid for it and we sat on a nearby bench.

We were eating in silence, but it seems like I made the wrong decision to come here because there are many children running around, there is a family here having a picnic, I see sadness in her eyes.

I kissed her forehead and squeezed her shoulder. "Are you okay? I'm sorry I didn't bring you—"

"It's okay Thyro, thank you for taking me here, I missed our baby Tucker Theodore, and I know that he is in Heaven with Mommy, I know that our baby will be with us again, right Thyro Raven?" she asked in a hopeful voice.

I nodded and swallowed. "Yes My Queen, Tucker Theodore will be with us too, not now but I hope soon," I whispered.

At the right time we will be able to be with you again son and I will not let you lose us again, I'm sorry to fail to protect you my son, daddy loves you. Where here in the living room, Attorney Ion Ledesma gave me Lance's last will testament for Ausha, Ausha looked at me silently as I read it. According to this, he will give the mansion in Tagaytay to his wife, even the two private islands near Desire Island and the five coffee shops, five restaurants and two large lands in Los Angeles California.
