"There, papa. Are you sure you don't want us to tag along with you? She can be violent at times." They say to Johnson Sr about their own adopted little sister. The man breaks into a smile and pats Alex on his shoulder.
"If she isn't violent, then I shall be worried. She's my lovely daughter. If I cannot see her go through such battles, then I shall help my best on her terms. You should learn that too." The old man says and adjusts the coat around his slumped old shoulders.
Walking inside the ice cream parlor that seemed so simplistic but elegant in its way, he finds his daughter sobbing silently and wiping her tears with a tissue.
He sees a waiter come from that direction as he catches ahold of them, "Did she eat anything?" He asks the waiter who looks in the direction he chinned at.
"Not yet, sir. She hasn't taken anything for that matter."
"Well then, give us two scoops of mango ice cream and white chocolate on top. Thank you very much." The waiter nods and takes the order as Johnson Sr walks towards the girl who was looking at him with a frown.
"Why did you follow me here?"
"I didn't. Your brothers know you too well. They're right outside at the park- probably playing with little kids. They tagged along to listen to you apologize, Cassandra. That was very rude of you." Taking a seat opposite her, he says.
"You're not eating too well." He adds later, looking at the bones poking through her skin from her hands.
Covering it up with her sleeves, Johnson Sr sighs which makes Cassandra look at him with watery eyes.
"Did I seem harsh to them?" She asks him.
"Sisters are always harsh to their brothers. It's the sibling code, Cassandra. Ask me if they haven't cared about you at all." He says to the girl who breaks down yet again.
"Louis left his office on a sudden note. I got the notice through the branch. When I came here in a hurry which I was to arrive by evening, I find you crying. Alex and the others skipped their classes to see you, and it's not even half of the day that passed by. Cassandra," he leans forth and wipes her tears while she was feeling guilty about shouting at the only people who care about her.
"If that is not love, I don't know what is. What's troubling you is what they've asked, and you screamed at them to stay away." Awakening her conscience, she leans down on the table and shakes her head, making her sway along with her.
"Apologize to them. Go. They're waiting way too eagerly for you to go talk to them." Says the old man. Cassandra quickly gathers herself and puts on a smile as she goes around the table and kisses her father on his cheek.
"Thanks, dad."
"Anything for my children." That being said, the youngest runs out of the parlor to be met by the five brothers who were all standing up at her arrival. She meets gazes at the tall men and fixates on Alex, she slowly walks towards the one who never liked being hugged nor did he like any sort of physical touches.
"I'm sorry for yelling at you." She confesses, "I'm sorry for provoking you too. I must have rephrased the sentence." He says, booping her nose when they part from the hug.
"And maybe punish you immediately after." Says the boy as Cassandra slaps his arm playfully.
"I'm sorry for pushing you too, Louis. You skipped work for me... why?" She asks the guy.
"Nothing is more important to me than my family. I'll value your decisions from now but hey, I'm sending in protection from tomorrow." Cassandra scrunches her face up at his words.
"I don't want that nor do I have an idea why you'd do that but okay."
"I'll keep her with me. She'll be our friend for that matter." Alex says and that seemed like an idea for her rather than the concept of having a bodyguard roaming along with her like a shadow.
"Hey," Turning to Zayn who has his hands chucked in his pockets, he punches his chin in the air saying, "Hey."
"I'm sorry for getting mad at you too. It wasn't nice of me." She says to the sweetest brother who smirks softly and opens his arms.
"Bring it in, come on." Giggling, she is pulled into his embrace as Dan jumps onto them and makes everyone chuckle at his silliness.
"Come inside for me. Please." She looks at all the brothers who look at each other.
"I gotta leave... have my karate classes starting soon." He says as he begins to leave.
"I'll drop you along the way, then. I should be heading to work too, love. Take care, okay?" Saying that, Louis and Nick begin to leave which leaves behind three of them.
"We two have some plans at home too. Ice cream is not for me during any season. You guys can have fun."
"What work do you possibly have at the moment, Dan?" She asks Dan and looks at Alex who shrugs his shoulders.
"Did you enter my room? Oh, you were too busy staring at my d!ck maybe. Well, I don't want to ruin dad's mood so I'll go clean it up."
"Me too." Alex shortly after utters as they begin to leave too.
Cassandra turns to look at Zayn who was gazing at a distance. She takes a deep breath in, catching his attention as she says, "You're gonna leave too?"
"Nope." Finally, she thinks.
"There is nothing better than spending time with my family." He says as she smiles softly and holds his hand, they walk towards the parlor together.
"Spending time with family huh? As I think of it now, it's gross."
"Why? Because I make you cum more violently than the others, Cassandra?"
