Ife took a long sip of her tropical juice then let out a sigh of satisfaction.

"If this is heaven, I don't want to leave here" the three ladies giggled and took sips from their juice then let out satisfying sighs at the same time.

Ife sat up from laying down to look at her friends with a smile on her face.

"I'm happy that you let me come with you both. I really needed this"

Dara grinned then took one of the cucumbers from her eyes to look at Ife "Vacations always lightens your mood, no matter what... there's this beautiful feeling it gives you when you go, especially when it's with people you love and are comfortable with" she put the cucumber back and relaxed back on the chair she was resting at.

The three of them are staying in the twins apartment in Paris. Ife didn't know what to think when she saw how magnificent the apartment was because they kept saying that they wanted to leave the place because it was getting small for them.

'When you have wealthy friends' she always think to herself.

"This isn't the best view here" Dora said when she removed the cucumbers and stood up to stretched.

"Should I ask where the best view is at?"

"That shouldn't be a question" Dara answered.

"Efiel tower" they all said at the same time while giggling.

Ife stood up and went into the balcony.

"If you want this place, we can give it to you" Dara said from behind her "We are almost done with paying the mortgage and we will just give you the final payment needed to be paid, all the paperwork will be done and it's yours" she completed.

Ife looked at her with wide opened eyes.

"This will be too large for me" she said.

"Patrick could come, you both could have that romantic getaway you deserve" Dora said and handed them both a bottle of water.

Ife narrowed her eyes at her then placed her hands on her hips.

"Patrick?" Dora's eyes went wide when she realized what she said and she stuttered as she tried to correct herself.

"Thank GOD, I'm not the only one that think you and Patrick should be together" Dara grinned.

"Um... Ife, uh... you know like you both are cute together" Dora shrugged.

"Patrick is just my fri-"

"Abegi, you think we don't see the secret looks you both bare when the other isn't looking? How understandable you both are with each other? The long hugs, the secret smile and the little 'friendly dates' you both go on, you think we didn't see all that?" Dara asked.

Ife was astonished by what they were saying. She wasn't too surprised by Dara urges for her to dump Tomiwa and go with Patrick 'The real man that treats her well', Dara's words.

But when Dora said something about it and the details of how close she and Patrick were, it was a little shocking to her.

She likes Patrick but doesn't want to leave Tomiwa because of her deep love for him. Tomiwa might not treat her the way Patrick does but she loves him more than any man she ever liked.

"I am not dating Patrick" she said when she couldn't find anything to say.

"You can't keep trying to satisfy your mum for the rest of your life, you have your life that's why it's called yours. She can't continue to have a say every single time in your life, open up to the happiness you deserve" Dara told her.

"Your dad will want you to be happy" Dora completes.

Ife remembered the last conversation she and her dad had before his death and it brought tears to her eyes. Maybe they are right, maybe she wants to try something else and just be selfish for once. It was her life after all.

Dara placed her hand on Ife's head and caressed it before slightly patting her head.

"We don't mean to make you feel bad, we are just looking out for you" she said.

"We want the best for you" Dora completes.

Ife nods her head then cleaned the tears that managed to fall down her cheeks.

"Maybe you're right, maybe I do need to think of myself and let myself love someone, someone that wouldn't cheat on me or someone that will not let my mum and sisters influence whatever he wants to do for me or wants me to do"

Dara and Dora both had grins on their face.

"I can feel a dating spree coming up"

Ife looks at the twin and saw knowing looks on their face and she shook her head.

"I'm not dating Patrick, he's my friend and I love him platonically, i don't want a relationship to spool what we have"

"You will never know if you don't try"

Ife thought about that but she didn't want to take a risk and spoil things for herself.

"Let's go out and enjoy the night"

"Probably find you a good-looking date that loves melanin" Dara wriggled her brows then nudged Ife lightly.

"Caramel, rather" Dora correct due to Ife's light skin.

"Anyone, let's go out and party" Dara starts dancing and whining and singing as she going into the room "Let's parry, like it's the time of our life, let's party and show ourselves what a good night is... Oooooohhhhhh!" she screamed and continues singing till her voice was faint.

Dora and Dara looked at each other then shook their heads

"I don't know how I do it but that's just s tip of how things are like with us alone" Dora points to where her twin went off dancing.

"Well, a little crazy of Dara will always spice up your day" Ife grinned and Dora agreed with a smile. "Let's go get ready and start our night with something fun and exciting"

They both made their way into the room.

"I think I know where we can start off our night"

"You, I can trust with that"

They went inside to get ready and after some minutes, they were ready to go out in their really nice knee-length evening dresses.

"We look great, now let's go out there and show who is wilding out tonight" Dara rushed out of the door while her twin and Ife shook their heads at her behavior.

"I'll watch over her"

"Please" Ife chuckled then they walked.out of the door to start their night.

They arrived at a small hangout downtown, the place had a lounge area, a pool section, a spa side, a salon, a restaurant, a game section and relaxation place.

It was a beautiful scenery and the liveliness of the place played a part in their moods and made them all relaxed.

"This place wants me to stay and never go home" Ife took a sip from her juice as she looked around.

"Transfer here now, come and enjoy the beautiful city of Paris and all it's richness" Dara winked.

"As much as I want to, I really love my uni and here could be my number one vacation spot, I'll just stay with you girls"

"Bring Patrick along and stay with him" Dara told her then frowned when she looked at her right. "Can't be babysitting you all the time" she released the furrow in her brows and looked at Ife.

"Who were you looking at?" she looked in the direction Dara looked in but can't seem to know who exactly she was looking at.

"No one," she smiled need to find you someone tonight" she changed the topic before Ife could ask any further.

Ife scrunched up her nose and took a sip from her juice then felt an intense gaze on the side of her face, so she turned to her right to see who was staring and saw a middle aged man taking sips from his glass as he smiles in her way.

He was wearing a dark suit, his hair looked neatly gelled with just a strand or two falling on his face. His neatly shaved stubble added some hunch to how manly he looked.

Ife felt some kind of odd feeling wash over her by just making eye contact with him.

She shuddered then looked away from him back to her friends.

"What happened? Are you okay?" Dora asked when she noticed the shift in Ife's mood.

Ife looked at her with her eyes slightly opened wide before it went back to it's normal size.

"Oh, nothing..." she smiled then hugged herself, still feeling odd by the stranger's stare "Just... just a bit cold" she managed a smile.

"You should have taken your jacket like I told you to"

Dara gave her a side eyed look and Ife ignored it with a shake of her head.

"Do you think we should leave?"

Both sisters looked at her with raised eyebrows and a 'you're joking' look.

"When did we come?" Dora asked.

"And not when that fine piece of human is approaching us" Dara said and adjust in her seat. " Compose yourself, he might be interested in you" she said then let a wide grin grace her lips when the man reached their table.

"Salut les filles" he said in a calm French accent.

Dara whistled and turned to Ife then wriggled her brows. Ife threw her a dirty look and looked away from her.

"Good evening"

"May I join you?" he asked them then focused his gaze on Ife "If you don't mind?" a nice smile settled on his lips and the three ladies looked at each other.

Dara was going to answer when Ife interrupted as she faked a pain look.

"I'd love that but I think I got gas and I need to go home" she said.

Dara gave her a look but when she saw the plea in her eyes, she sighed then turned to the handsome stranger with a smile.

"We need to get her home because she gets gassed sometimes" she said then they all start to get up.

The man pouted then shrugged "Okay then, sorry you got gassed," he said to Ife and she hummed a reply "Guess I'll see you later" he smiled then handed her a card he fetched from his pocket.

Dara collected it and he excused them while the left the building.

When they were out of the building, Ife straightened up and walked fast to the side of the road to hail down a taxi.

"I knew you were lying when you suddenly said you were gassed" Dara glared at her.

"I just needed to get out of that place" she said and hailed a taxi that parked in front of them. She told the taxi man their address and got inside then Dora and her twin followed.

The ride was quiet after Dara made some comment about Ife not wanting to move on from Tomiwa, then she gave her the card the man gave her and looked out the window.

Ife looked out the side of her window and let out a sigh. Dora tapped her shoulder and she looked at her with an eyebrow raised.

"You felt uneasy with that man?" she asked.

Ife sighed then managed a small smile.

"It's okay, I'm fine" she replied then looked out the window again.

"Don't call him of you don't want to" she whispered "You can always move on from Tomiwa without jumping to dating some new or old" she nudged her and Ife grinned at that.

They stayed quiet for a moment before Ife looked at her with a smile.

"Thank you" Dora grinned a response.
