He made sure max and the rest had their mind off me and on him, then when they were about to end his life, he teleported to where I was hiding and took me with him! Right now I'm tied up like a dog and it's just pathetic, I don't know where on earth I am but I'm sure it's no where close to the gas station we were, and it's definitely not the Prince's castle, well, I haven't seen the whole castle, but I'm sure there isn't a place like this in it. But then, why isn't he taking me to the prince, isn't that the reason he abducted me in the first place! "yes, yes, I have got the older daughter." I heard the creepy man's voice from a distance. It sounds like he is talking to someone on the phone, and whatever it is he was saying definitely has something to do with me. He literally said the older daughter, and I'm Amber's older daughter, s obviously… "of course I'm sure, I recognized her the moment I saw her, there's no doubting!" he barked once again. "No, a deal is a deal lady, I'll hand the girl over to you only when you fulfill your promise." Whoever it is he is working for, it's definitely not the prince. This is bad, knowing that the prince is after my life is bad enough, and now there's someone else? This would only make our journey even harder than it already is. The thought of Max and the rest stopping the mission to look for me makes me feel worse, I wish I could tell them to go on without me, I have been trying to communicate with them telepathically but I just couldn't reach them, maybe it's because there's a big distance between us. the last time we communicated telepathically, we were in the same room. On a general note, I don't really know how to use any of my powers properly so it's no surprise that I can't do much now, that's something I'm going to have to fix once I get out of here, that is of course if I do get out. "Come on now let's get out of here." The guy said in a husky tone. We were in a really disgusting, unkept room that was made of old wood and aluminum plates. The condition of the place was the main reason I guessed it wasn't the castle. He started cutting the rope that was used to tie my hands freeing my now red and partly bruised hands. I knew this wouldn't work since I already tried but I closed my eyes and tried to imagine the gas station, then I tried appearing there. Opening my eyes, just as I have expected, I was still in the same spot, with the man holding on to my hands. Maybe I also can't teleport to the place because of the distance. Or maybe I just need to work on using my powers. The guy seemed like he didn't notice any of my escape attempts, so I played along with it. We stepped out of the filthy house quietly, though I had a few questions, like, who was after my life and what on earth was their agenda, but I decided to keep my mouth shut and think of an escape plan instead. The surrounding was a very unfamiliar one, and surprisingly, it was busy. People were walking around doing their business, it seemed like a really small town. No one paid attention to how the man gripped my hands tightly and how I was obviously struggling to get free. I thought of screaming but it seemed like no one was going to pay attention to us. A few of them did throw glances at us and they'll quickly shift their gaze once I catch them. There was something in the way they looked at me -pity and perhaps, fear!_ were they scared of this man? Is this where he lives and are they familiar with his disgustingly creepy nature? Is that the reason no one is trying to help me? If it is, then I am really in big trouble, and I need to think for myself, think about helping myself because, from the look of things, there'll be no Knight in shining armor around here. . We got to an even more crowded part of the town and the man kept dragging me like a piece of dirt. The place was full and my body kept colliding with that of strangers. I had to think and I had to think fast. The only way I can get away from this man is by getting lost in the crowd. I put my free hand in the fanny pack Layla attached to my dress and hoped I would find something useful. "A pin?" That's all Layla kept in the bag? A freaking pin. I have to think of a way to use it otherwise, I'm dead meat. The pin isn't that small, it was thick and a bit long. Longer than the usual pin size. I know it isn't strong enough to cause this man any harm, but I'm sure it will do the trick. . "Arrghhh!" He yelled, obviously taken aback by my swift attack. The hand he used to clutch mine was now bleeding causing him to let go of me. I smiled at my success before jumping and diving into the crowd, hoping to get lost from his sight. No offense but this guy has to be the most absentminded vampire I have ever met. How is it that he wasn't reading my thoughts, he would gave known what I was planning and stopped me, but no he is just a dumb grumpy grump. . I ran and ran, I could still see him from among the crowd cause he's like the tallest guy in the town, but I guess he couldn't spot me, his eyes kept twitching from one corner to another with a confused look on his face. I need to get out of this place ASAP, this is my only chance! . After keeping a good distance between us, I stopped to catch my breath. That man really is a headache. Men and women were walking around and for some reason, they had that same plain and frightened look on their faces. I closed my eyes once again, concentrating only on getting out of this place. It's still not working, how on earth am I unable to get out of here, maybe it's because the places I'm trying to get to are too far. I'm just not experienced enough to teleport that far. Then, I tried to teleport to one of the close by bushes, but it didn't work either. I sat close to one of the huts in the village and did the only thing that I could do, the only thing that was right for me. Cry!! That's all I was good at any way. Max was right when he said I wasn't strong enough to come along with them when he said it wasn't safe. I am nothing but useless and hopeless, a weak burden to them. If i know Max and josh the way I think I do, they'll stop the mission to search for me. They might even risk their lives by going to the prince's castle, thinking I'll be there. "There she is!" a voice said, causing me to raise my head.
