RAY'S POV

Finally it's morning and the girls and I were already prepared for our journey back home, we had breakfast with Natly and her parents then waited for Tessy's mom to come over and pick us up.

Tessy peeped through the window and saw Shawn standing next to his car then she screamed.
"Isn't that Shawn?, Ray come look" She said out loud.

Natly, Hiedi and I came over to the window and saw Shawn standing next to his car and with the looks of things he was waiting for someone.

"Awnn, Look at him, just there being cute" Natly said as Hiedi thumbed her forehead.

"Ouch" Natly yelled out in pain.

"I think he's waiting for Ray" Hiedi said with a smile on her face.

"Come on, let's go find out" Tessy said as she drags me outside with her as Heidi and Natly came along with.

"Morning Ray" Shawn greeted as I blushed.

"Morning" I replied.

Tessy's mom drove by and the both girls went inside the car.

"You coming Ray?" Tessy's mom asked but I politely declined her offer.

Natly and I waved goodbyes at them as they drove off.

I looked back to Shawn and he was really looking different today, last night he wore an overcoat with jeans and boots, he also wore gloves and sunglasses, but this morning he had on him a short sleeve shirt and his gloves, overcoat and sunglasses were at the back of his car. and he looked so cute.

When the both of us were leaving in his car Natly waved goodbyes at us mostly at Shawn though before she left.

"Were you  waiting for me through the night?, at Natly's?, did you even go back home when you told me you were going?" I finally asked him.

"Yes" he simply answered.

"why?"

"You ask too many questions" he said as I smiled to myself.

I felt so special at that time, I mean no guy has ever been so caring towards me before, well apart from my best friend Justin.
I didn't bother asking him further questions, in other not to disturb him.
I just kept silence and enjoyed the ride.

When I got home, I didn't tell my parents about what almost happened to me last night, including the girls, but later in the evening when Hiedi and Justin came by my house, I told them everything and they were relived that nothing bad happened to me and that Shawn was there to save me.

Justin on the other hand was feeling much better today and he just got his car back from the mechanic, that means we would ride his car to school tomorrow which was really a good thing for all of us.

THIRD PERSON'S POV

It's Monday morning and all highschool students at glimmer high were in the cafeteria having lunch, Ray, and her  friends were having lunch with Dave, later, Shawn walked up to where they were and sat next to them to have lunch, but Dave started to call him names which changed the aura.
At that moment Ray decided to tell them about her birthday celebration to distract them from arguing and somehow bring back the peace she had before that.

She told them that it was gonna be a costume party and that they were all invited to her party which was happening that weekend before she stood up to leave.

"Where to?" Shawn asked Ray who just stood up.

"I'm heading to the vender machine to grab a soda" Ray replied as she walks up to the vender machine.

"Hey loser" Clara said to Ray as she  spilled melted cheese all over her.

"hey, what gives....?" Ray yelled at Clara as everyone started to stare.

Ray got furious and gave her a hard slap on her cheek and immediately her friends came by and asked her to calm down, but the hot tempered girl wasn't cooling off.

Shawn managed to get a grip of her before she could slap Clara again.
During this heat most of the students were encouraging them to fight while others just watched.

As the place became more noiser Dawn, the lunch lady asked them all to go back to their seats and finish their lunch while she told Ray to go wash herself up in the girls bathroom.

Clara wanted Ray to get caught fighting again, and this time if the principal is to punish her, he will expell her from the school and that was all she wanted.

Later after school, Ray and her friends were already at Ray's house to help with the birthday plans and the moment they were done, they went over to their favorite cafe, to grab coffee and chat amongst themselves.

Ray instead of following them, went over to Shawn's house to return a book she had borrowed from him on Wednesday last week.

She was putting on a purple miniskirt and a pink hanging singlet, she unpacked her hair and styled it with purple designs. she also wore a green shawl to cover the mark on her shoulder, and the green shawl complements her eyes and her green amulet, she wore her favorite pink shoes and left for Shawn's house.

When she got there, she gave him back his book and thanked him for it. The both of them talked about how far their exam have been, and for the fact that it would be all over on Monday and after that conversation they switched to talking about Ray's upcoming birthday celebration.

"So you're going to throw a costume party right?" Shawn asked Ray who just removed her shoes and was now on his bed.

"yah" she simply replied.

"So you are a hot tempered person, I mean I haven't seen you loose your cool like that" Shawn said

"um..., well I was a hot tempered girl"

Ray said as Shawn looked at her.
"so you are a hot tempered girl, but yet not so strong" he said teasingly.

"What do you mean?" Ray asked as she came closer to him.
"I mean you weren't able to defend yourself when those guys wanted to rape you" he said teasingly as he let out a deep chuckle.

Ray folded her arms around her chest feeling sad.

"I was just joking, silly, there's no need to be mad".

"you are such a..." she stated as she began hitting him.

"hey, stop" he said laughing as though she was tickling him.

"Now you'll know how strong I am" she said still hitting him, as he pinned her down on the bed.

They started tickling each other for a while which made Ray's shawl to unwrap from her shoulders.
They continued with there little play as they laughed for a while then stopped.
They were now laying down on their backs and Ray leaned closer to him with her head on his chest.
The two of them were silent for a while both lost in there different thoughts.
