RAY'S POV

It's been a crazy week, last week have been so heartbreaking, this week have been confusing and stressful for me.
Stressful also because after that Monday night showdown, my mom assigned Dawn to teach me how to be a real spell casting witch at least let me know how that feels before I leave the Earth.
Any time I remember that my days are numbered, I feel so helpless and angry and most times I wish my mother killed me after birth so I won't live just to die.
Although most times I wish I was killed right after I was born other times I'm just grateful that I got to have a loving family and very good friends that have my back.

Well through out this week I haven't seen or heard from Shawn after that incident on Monday evening.
Remembering his face the moment I asked him that question, the picture of his mood changing and how his face fell in disappointment made me regret the fact that I showed him fear, I wasn't really afraid of him, I was actually afraid of him getting the wrong impression about what I had asked him.
I think he misunderstood everything and now I just don't know what to believe anymore.

Today is Saturday and after Dawn had given me the magic training lessons, I came to the coffee shop to Meet my friends.
My mom said to me before I started the classes with Dawn that I don't need a wand because I have the amulet and it was true, the Amulet was so powerful and most times I tend to do things stronger than anyone expects and to be honest, it scares me sometimes.

Well we started on Tuesday and then on Friday she decided to take things to the next level by teaching me some real magic.
It was kinda fun, and very hard to learn at the same time.

Well getting to the coffee shop, I saw my friends already seated round the table outside waiting for me.
"So you and Shawn are still on a break?" Natly asked me before she took a sip of her coffee.

I didn't know what to say to her so I smiled at her.
I don't know why I'm wrapped up in this mess, I really don't want to die, and I can't get myself to hate Shawn, I really like him, besides he was only a kid who didn't know what he was doing then, come to think of it Shawn and I, are we even dating?, I thought as I gulped a full cup of coffee and just as I was about to drop the cup, Eddie raised the same question I couldn't answer.

"Are they even dating?" He asked confused.

"Dude, don't" Hiedi stated looking at Eddie while I sat there hopping they just change the topic.

"That's true Ray, what's going on" Justin added

"Girl are you dating Dave or Shawn?, i mean you and Dave went to see a movie together on Tuesday" Natly blabbed
"You know what enough about Ray and Shawn, let's talk about Hiedi and Daniel" Natly added with excitement to my relief.

"How about we talk about going to the beach tomorrow afternoon" I stated just to change the topic since they can come back to my matter if they start talking about relationships.

To my happiness they all agreed and we started talking about the activities we would like to do, going on and on with other interesting topics.
While we were talking a voice distracted me.

"Hi Shawn" an unfamiliar face greeted Shawn and with a tight hug

"Oh no! Shawn is here in the coffee shop, why?" I muttered to myself hoping it's not the Shawn I Know.

"I told you guys that we should get a chair inside, but you guys suggested we stay outside" I said nervous

"But you never told us that. oh my gosh, your trying to hide from Shawn" Eddie said as he winked at me.

"Dude don't" I said as I stared at the girl and Shawn.
The girl looks like a Mexican, I wonder who she is to Shawn

"Wow, Ray that girl is beautiful" Justin complimented the girl as I gave him an angry look.

"She isn't that beautiful" Hiedi murmured and I guess she did that out if jealousy.

"Can you guys keep it down, I'm trying to eavedrop here" Natly said as we became quiet.

"Eavedropping, why didn't I think of that?, well it's really not good to eavedrop on people's conversations, but I have to know who this girl is to him" I thought to myself

"So would you still come to the beach with me?" the girl asked Shawn.

"I'm sorry I can't go today" Shawn replied.

"It's okay, we'll just go tomorrow then, say two o'clock?" the girl suggested

"I'll be there" Shawn said as the girl smiled at him seductively before leaving.

What a coincidence, Shawn would be at the beach tomorrow.
we also invited Dave, Daniel andTessy who also invited few of their friends who were also our classmates to come along with all with "the more the merrier right speech".

Since Dave's house was close to the beach, the eleven of us decided to meet at Dave's house.
Dave invited two more people, Mike Andrea and Lili Luciano, while Daniel invited Jake Peters and Tessy invited Ruby Kent.

Well back to the coffee shop scene
"He wasn't even coming this way" Hiedi said after seeing him cross to the other side

"didn't he see you here?" Eddie asked

"I guess not" I replied sad?.

When it got dark, we left the coffee shop for our houses.
The rest of the day went normal, my parents kept doing all they could to cheer me up even though they didn't know why I was feeling down.

It's finally Sunday, and today I wasn't having any training with Dawn.
I was still thinking about the girl from yesterday so I called Shawn, to see if I can feel better.

"Hello Shawn" I said in a shaking voice

"Oh, hi Ray, why did you call me all of a sudden?" he asked firmly

"I wasn't eavedropping or anything, is just that I over heard you talking to that girl yesterday and..."

"How did you know that I was talking to..." he cuts in but I didn't wait for him to finish his sentence before I cut him short.

"I was at the coffee shop that yesterday" I simply stated then continued with what I was saying.

Hmmm, I thought he was gonna say that I was jealous, well I was a little bit jealous yesterday though but I was a bit relieved he didn't bring that up.

"So I heard her ask you to come to the beach today" I said

"Anabel, her name is Anabel" he said to me

"Well that's good to know" I stated.

"Also, I and my friends are also coming to the beach today, in the afternoon" I added.

"I'm glad to hear that and please do come, I want to talk to you about something" he pleaded.

"Of course I would come" I stated with a little smile on my face.
