FLASH BACK CONTINUES

Lucy and Joe kept seeing each other after that day or should I say Lucy kept finding Joe and one very day Lucy came left Joe's house in the evening which was almost twilight.
That very night her mother gave her the scolding of her life but Lucy as a well known stubborn girl, kept on sneaking out of the island with the help of her sisters to meet Joe.
The mother found out about what she had been up to after some weeks and she got so furious that her daughter was seeing a human boy so she forbade her daughter Lucy from going to the Main Land.
Lucy on the other hand wasn't ready to loose the new friendship she was building with her human friend and besides they were Inlove with each other and had promised to be there for each other always and she was not ready to break it so she chose to disobey her mom.
She was after all a teenager, and as the eldest and also the future queen mother of the green witches clan, she felt so untouchable and unstoppable and felt she can do as she pleases and marry whoever she wanted to.
That night, the same night her mom forbade her from visiting Joe she planned on sneaking out to meet him.
Her sisters on the other hand tried advising her not to go see Joe that night, but her mind was already made up.
Her Mom and Dad were having a meeting with the black witches clan about the Slaygands.

The Black witches were not as strong as the Green witches, they were known for using their fingers to make magic and some are Sangomas (Posseses healing powers).
One more thing they are able to turn into cats.
The green witches on the other hand are able to perform magic by just thinking but only when they are with the Soul stone, they also make use of wands unlike the black witches.
Some of them can see the future, but It's never easy for them to understand. they were also able to turn into cats.
If the black witches were to live up to a hundred year then the green witches lived up to one hundred and ten years.
They all sat at their corners, Queen Emerald takes her space on the throne as they proceed with the meeting.

"The Slaygands that turns into their true form at daytime are common in Los Angeles, they were the first specie to go wild..." a black witch named Mynah stated but was cut off by Emerald.

"What do you mean first specie to go wild when they are the only specie that is running wild and free" Emerald stated.

"Actually since this daytime Slaygands became savage, few weeks later, the Amazons informed us that they were being attacked by not just the daytime Slaygands but the nighttime Slaygands as well" another black witch stated.

"But how is that possible?, the Amazons are also Slaygands, since when did they start to attack their own kind?" Daren who's Lucy's dad asked himself.

"Why is it that before they kill, they would first ask for the Soul stone?" a green witch named Starling asked
They had no idea of what to say so they all stared at each other

"Why are the Amazons not going wild?" Emerald asked trying to stop the silence but got no reply, only silence followed after her question.

Meanwhile during the meeting Lucy was now on her way to Joe's apartment, then stumbled across a friend of hers, and that friend was Dawn, here Dawn was about thirty three years old.

"And where do you think you're going to?, by this time of the night far from the mainland" Dawn asked as she held Lucy back from walking away.

"You know the guy I've been talking to you about, well I'm on my way to his apartment" Lucy said as she smiled so hearty.

"I won't even bother stopping you" Dawn replied

"And you, where are you heading to by this time of the night?" Lucy asked noticing that Dawn too was heading out of the island

"I have some unfinished business to attend to" Dawn replied

"Here in the mainland?" Lucy asked

"yes"

"Okey, if you say so. I've got to run, see ya later" Lucy said as she walked out

Lucy arrived at Joe's apartment only to meet him sitting on his couch impatiently waiting for her arrival.
She sat next to Joe who couldn't stop himself from smiling.
After some minutes of looking at each other they resulted to watching an interesting movies.
Like about an hour into the movie, Lucy got tired and sleepy, so Joe permitted her to use his bed, and since she would be coming back home in the morning, she agreed to sleep on his bed.

Few minutes later, Joe came inside his room and was about lying down on the couch, but meeting the sight of her sleeping peacefully and looking cute, he couldn't help but walk up to her and caressed her face, her pale skin was a sight to behold and as he caressed her face, he used his fingers to go through her long black hair then touched her pointed ears as he kissed her forehead.
Later into it all Lucy opened her eyes and smiled at Joe who smiled back at her.

The both of them have only been close to each other for only two weeks now but were really close to each other's heart.

Joe stood up to lay on the couch
"Please stay" Lucy said with her eyes closed as she created a space for him on the bed.

"Sure" he said as he laid on the space she made out for him.

Lucy turned immediately towards him placing her head on his chest as she uses her right finger to caress his forehead down his chest. She also began unbuttoning his shirt one button at a time.
When that was done, he climbed on her using his left hand to support his weight, he used his right hand to stroke her hair then came closer to her face till their noses were touching, then she brought him so close and immediately landed a kiss on his lips.
The both of them made that very night a one to remember.

The next day as early as possible Lucy went to the island hopping her parents didn't notice her absence and fortunately enough they didn't.
She told her sisters everything that happened that night and at some point they feared for her.

Few weeks later Lucy and her parents found out that Lucy was pregnant, they tried hiding it from there kind since they know it was a human and a very big crime but unfortunately it didn't take long the while witches clan knew about it.
They began to question both her and her mom especially when they found out she was having a child for a human.
Her parents were furious with her that they didn't talk to her for days since all they did was attend meetings to justify there daughters action and because of all this, she was no more allowed to leave the island or involve herself in the Slaygands issues.
She was kept with tight security this time around unlike before, her sisters felt sorry for her as she couldn't stop crying and complaining if how suffocating the while thing feels.

On the other hand Emerald kept summoning meetings so they can decide in the final way to deal with the Slaygands and in one of these meetings a decision was made.

"I think we have no choice but to banish the Slaygands to the shadow realm, it's better than wiping the whole of their race away from the surface of earth, which is by the way impossible" Mynah one of the witches stated
 
"I think Mynah has a point, then the island will fully belong to us witches" A black witch added

"What about the Amazons, they're not among the other wild Slaygands, and what about the Slaygands who are innocent and not yet wild?" a man named Xavier and who was a green witch said hoping they see reason with him

"You're right, not all should suffer" Emerald said thinking hard on what to do but something about Mynah's idea felt so right and perfect.

"I'm going with Mynahs idea" Emerald said few minutes after the long muttering between the witches

"Thank you your majesty" Mynah said bowing down to queen Emerald.

"I think that's a good idea" Daren agreed

"That means we need the Soul stone" Starling said looking at Emerald

"Okay, if you all are in favour of this then I would get the Soul stone" Emerald said as rest of the Witches agreed.

Well did I say all of them? Oops! sorry about that, not all of them agreed to that

"What !!!, you guys can't be serious, we
haven't even killed their leader's yet" Dawn ranted angrily

"I'm sorry but we've already agreed to it" Emerald replied

"But what if they start to fight us then what are we gonna do?" Dawn added

"Then we would fight back"
Emerald said, but Dawn wasn't all that satisfied, she felt they can't just defeat the Slaygands even with the so called Soul Stone

Lucy on the other hand wasn't able to see Joe and tell him about her condition.
She missed Joe everyday and would sometimes cry her eyes out.
Even up to her ninth month she wasn't allowed to see him and worst of it all her best friend Dawn was nowhere to be found and that really broke her.
She expected her to at least be there for her now but unfortunately she wasn't, she felt miserable inside.

Sometimes her six sisters would try to cheer her up but that only lasts for a very short while as she would go back to her dad and depressing mood.

When she was in Labor she hoped to see Dawn but didn't, she managed to give birth to a very beautiful girl, Raven,

Immediately Emerald set her eyes on the child, she calmed down, she developed this sudden love for her and it shocked Lucy and her sisters.
She used to hate this same child when her daughter still had her in her womb but now all of a sudden she loved the child immediately she saw her.
One may not be surprised at the new change if heart because Ray was born looking just like her, she was a spitting image of her Grandma Emerald, she had her green eyes, her hair infact she looked just like her grandma except for the fact that there lips were different but even though one could barley notice that.

When Ray was born, most witches hated her while some loved her and others just had no problem with her at all as they termed it non of there business.

RAY'S POV

"So you want me to believe that I'm a witch, well that explains a lot" I said but with a little disbelief immediately my mom told her the story

"Honey, I'm sorry for not telling you about it" my mom said tearing up

"I cannot be a witch, I cannot be witch" that's what I kept on saying

"Honey" my dad called out reaching his hand to touch me.

I blocked his hand from touching me.
"Don't touch me !!" I quickly reached for the couch then sat down hoping everything was just an expensive joke

"The sooner you accept it, the better and less painful it's gonna be for ya, you hear me" this was what Dawn said to me before standing up

"But how did Shawn know? and this stupid mark on my shoulder, I'm sure it has to do with me being a witch" I said in confusion as I thought about all the strange things that had been happening to me since.
"So they where not my imaginations at all" I said to myself

"I guess Clara was right, she might also be a witch" I soliloquies

"Honey, we didn't tell so that you can live a normal life" my dad said trying to make me feel better but I just didn't look at him.

The place went quiet for a while, I later wards broke the silence after processing and accepting the fact that Clara was a witch too, a bad and annoying one at that.

"I have so much questions for you guys" she stated

"You can ask us later" my dad assured me but I wanted to ask them what was the big deal about my amulet, and how I got this embarrassing mark and of course you should know me, I asked my parents right away ignoring the talk to you later stuff.

Immediately I asked the question Dawn said...
"Lucy, Joe, you guys should tell her about her illness"

As soon as I heard that from her mouth my heart raced with fear

"Mom, dad what's she talking about" I asked them as they began crying.

My mom glared at Dawn then looked at me
"hon, there's something else we want to tell you" She said as she went back to her flashback story

THIRD PERSON'S POV
ANOTHER FLASH BACK TO THE PAST

Lucy was strolling with her seven years old daughter around the island, Ray was still very young and easily distracted by the shimmering ocean, she loved it so much that she had to run passed some bushes to get to the ocean the moment her mom was distracted.

Getting to the Ocean, she met a small boy standing next to a tree so she walked up to him to say hi.

"Hi, why are you just standing here?, don't you wanna play with the other kids?" Ray asked him, but he was sucking on his wrist

"you're bleeding" Ray said pointing at his wrist
"I guess you're hungry"
the boy just nodded looking down at her shoulder

"You are also bleeding, right there on your shoulder" the boy said pointing at it

"Oh yeah, well I did pass through some prickle bush earlier, don't tell my Mommy" she said and giggled.
