Immediately fred opened the door to the sitting room .
“ you’ve added a lot of weight don’t you know you are a model “ Fred asked after helping her sit on the couch.
“ whatever besides am not planning on returning to the industry for now I need some time “ Cassy said standing up
“ why? Cassy look you’ve become so famous now even the feathers wanted you as their ambassador and a whole lot of brand wanted you to advertise their products but then you were no where to be found “ Fred explained
“ that’s a good one but I want you to respect my decision of staying on a low key at least for now “ Cassy said walking towards the kitchen.
“ Cassy look I know …..” Fred wanted to make Cassy see reasons why she shouldn’t throw the opportunity away but Cassy quickly cut his words short
“ let’s make dinner “ Cassy said walking into the kitchen
“ fine do what ever you want you have my support as long as You are happy “ Fred said giving up
“ that’s what you should have said long time ago “ Cassy shouted from the kitchen with a victorious smile plastered on her face
“ so what do you want us to make “ Fred asked rolling his eyes
“ chilaquiles “ Cassy said opening the kitchen cabinet
“ that’s mostly eating for breakfast anything you are going to make right now is for dinner “ Fred reminded her
“ and can’t chilaquiles be eaten for dinner “ Cassy asked
“ well why not “ Fred replied
“ then let’s make some chilaquiles for dinner “ Cassy said smiling
“But the only problem is that ,am not sure the ingredients are available “ Fred said
“ then call Betty since she is the cook and ask if the ingredients for chilaquiles is available in this kitchen “ Cassy suggested
“ oh that’s a good idea “ Fred said bringing out his phone from his jeans pant’s pocket.
“Hi “ Fred said immediately Betty answered the call.
“ I wanted to prepare chilaquiles but I don’t know if the ingredients is available at home “
“ yes sir just check the store room “ mrs Betty said at the other end.
“Oh….thanks heaven “ Fred said greatly relieved.
“ wait here a bit let me get the ingredients “ Fred said to Cassy after disconnecting the call then walk out of the kitchen.
He returned few minutes later carrying some stuffs
“I have vegetable oil,tortilla chips here .I will just check the refrigerator for the tomatoes, onions and pepper then the chicken, chorizo and beef and also get the egg , fresh cheese, and coriander.” Fred said mentioning all the ingredients.
“Thank you “ Cassy said when Fred kept all the ingredients on the kitchen table
“ so what can I help with”? Fred asked
“ nothing just go freshen up then come down for dinner “ Cassy answered taking out a frying pan hung on the wall .
“ oops it’s seems I will be useless here let me go and freshen up like you said “ Fred said leaving the kitchen.
“ I almost stopped breathing “ Cassy whispered to her self placing her hand on her chest .
“ let’s get dinner done already “ Cassy said rinsing the frying pan.
She started by turning on the gas cooker then placed the frying pan on top . added vegetable oil in the pan then spread tortilla chips in the pan after allowing it to heat a while .pouring in her sliced tomatoes,onions and pepper, she allowed the chips absorb some of the liquid.

“ hey “ Fred whispered closed to Cassy’s ear
Not expecting such , Cassy screamed
“ am sorry I didn’t mean to scare you “ Fred apologized caressing her cheek
“ it’s fine it’s just that it took me unaware “ Cassy explained turning off the gas .
“ I know so I will just sit on the dinning and wait for you to finish up “ Fred said walking towards the dinning
“ alright am almost done anyway” Cassy said through gritted teeth
“ you didn’t bother helping right I shouldn’t have asked you to go freshen up “ Cassy murmured

“ wow looks delicious “ Fred complimented when he saw how Cassy decorated the chilaquiles
The tortilla chips was soaked in a red sauce then topped with shredded chicken,chorizo,beef and scrambled egg with the cheese , coriander and sliced onions surrounding it
“ I can’t wait to taste it “ Fred said salivating
“ you didn’t bother to help me after freshening up “ Cassy complained pouting her lips
“Sorry I just wanted you to be the only one that will prepare the meal because you haven’t prepared any meal for me ever since I got to know you “ Fred explained taking his spoon
“ oops sorry I misunderstood you “ Cassy apologize sitting down to devour the scrumptious meal before her .
After eating, they did the dishes together then proceeded to the sitting room.
“ it’s late already don’t you think you should return to the hotel Chloe might be worried “ Cassy said sitting on the couch
“ she wanted us to get married and now we are married she should enjoy the boredom “ Fred replied sitting close to Cassy
“ I don’t know what else to say “ Cassy said taking a deep breath
“ you don’t have to say anything just keep calm and spend some quality time with me “ Fred replied pulling her to himself.
“ you are a married man remember “ Cassy said rolling her eyes
“ and the last time I checked I was forced into the marriage so if am not a faithful husband the fault is not from me “ Fred said bitting her earlobe
“ so tell me what happened where have you been “ Fred asked with worry written all over his face
“ can’t tell you but if you really want to keep me out of danger keep my appearance a secret don’t tell anyone am back NOT EVEN YOUR WIFE “ Cassy said putting so much emphasis on “NoT EVEN YOUR WIFE “
