Whispers filled the hall as people cursed and spittled so much hate at adrianna who still sat with her legs crossed and an indifferent expression on her face.

"Search"Adrianna muttered and handed the purse to Mai who searched the purse until she raised up a silver jewelry necklace high in the sky so that people could see.

"You stole it indeed!"Mai muttered and put on a shocked expression like she never expected it.

"No, it must be a misunderstanding, adrianna can't do such a thing, am sure of that!"Jenni muttered as she folded her lips into a thin line, little droplets of tears at the tip of each eye making her look so pitiful that the adrianna of six years ago could have believed what she was saying.

"There are already proofs that she stole the necklace but you too kind that you still believe that she didn't actually stole it"Wendy retorted as she pointed at adrianna's face but adrianna only smiled.

She never knew it would go a long way to help her, who could had thought that necklaces were similar in comparison, well, except from the red diamond at the back which of course, non of them saw.

"Are you really sure that it is indeed the necklace Jenni lost"Adrianna asked, her voice sounded kinda dangerous but thought it scared Jenni a little as a result of her overconfidence.
But Jenni wasn't going to give up so easily.

"Yes, it is indeed my necklace"Jenni muttered still feigning her pity like expression.

"Okay"Adrianna muttered and snatched the necklace from Mai before turning it upside down exposing the red little diamond at the back, the diamonds were very small that someone could easily miss it but adrianna didn't.

But then, adrianna noticed something which was at the back, the little diamonds formed some inititials, tracing it slowly with her fingers, then she read the words out.

"Huh!, I asked whether the necklace was indeed yours and you said yes but my initials are clearly written at the back of this necklace, can you still tag it as yours?"Adrianna muttered loudly so that everyone could hear.

Jenni heard a loud bang on her head as she bit her lower lip harshly, damn it!, How did this happen?, She had made sure to drop the necklace into Adrianna's purse then how did jenni's necklace became adrianna's own.

Everyone's attention snapped towards Wendy's pocket and she moved back in shock, as a flash of collision passed through her eyes, looking down at her pocket, she deeped her hands into the red tight knee length gown pocket and behold, she felt the hard and rough texture of the jewelry and her heart skipped.

But she dared not bring it out if not their plans would be over.

"Aren't you going to show us what you found inside your pocket Mrs Dante or should this lowly waitress search your pocket as well"Adrianna muttered dragging the word 'Lowly waitress' but Wendy never moved, at that moment, she felt stupefied.

"Sorry everyone for the little drama, it was actually a small misunderstanding, hope you all understand"Wendy voiced out nervously as she brought out the necklace slowly knowing fully well that this b*tch of a stepdaughter of hers wouldn't let it go so easily..
