Agni completed dialogue with his friend and returned to me.

"I am glad that fate sent you back to me," Agni said with a mischievous smile.

"Stupid fate," I cursed my fate for creating an invisible and unbreakable bond between Agni and me.

"Jwala, Can't you give me a chance? I am bad but not the worst. Maybe my approach towards you is remarkable but not my love for you. Let me rectify my sins which make your nightmares created by me vanish. I will treat you no less than a queen," Agni said.

His words startled me as it's a different version of Agni which I have never seen.

"Why are you so desperate to marry a girl like me who seduces every man? You are capable of getting any girl into your lap and fall for your charm," I repeated the words spoken by Agni earlier.

"Yes, Even now I stand by my words. I can make any girl fall into my lap with my wealth and charm. However, now I want only one girl to be in my lap and life, i.e., You," Agni said and pulled me into his lap.

Agni hugged me and kissed my left cheek.

"My innocent Baby, don't repeat my words because a sweet girl like you shouldn't speak such foul language," Agni said and released me from his hug as I struggled to get out of his grip.

"Okay, leave it. Why are you in stress? I stopped hassling you, gave the documents of the orphanage, cleared the bank loan of your dad and agreed with whatever you said about our Baby. Why are you still tensed? Tell me the reason, and I am ready to do anything for you."

"I am in stress because of you," I murmured without looking at Agni.

"How am I the reason for your turmoil?" Agni asked.

"I was scared of you and your psychotic behaviour. I was unable to forget the incident where you punched the tree until your hand bled," I said panicking again recalling Agni's stupidity.

"I love to frighten away the people around me but I can't-do that with you because I want you to stay with me forever. We will soon become a married couple, and I hate to scare my wife."

"I will never marry you," I shouted at Agni.

"I won't marry you with force. I want you to marry me willingly," Agni said.

"I hate you," I stated.

"I don't believe in love because I hate love," Agni said closing his eyes as if he is trying to hide the pain of bitter past.

"I want to know your past," I said.

"I tried revealing my past to you, but you refused to listen. You missed the chance, and you can never know about me. Now, take rest," he ordered.

"Why? Do you have any important appointments?" I asked sarcastically.

"Yes, someone special is waiting for me in a hotel. I need to go," Agni said igniting the fire of anger in me.

I grimaced at Agni.

"Don't shoot me through looks, Baby. I just tried to provoke you. Today, fully I am at your service. I won't go anywhere. I will go to my office from tomorrow, and you are free to accompany me," Agni said.

I gave it a thought. I want to find out Agni's real face. I decided to accompany Agni to check whether his change is authentic or fake.

"I decided to work in your office," I declared.

"No. I didn't ask you to work in my office. You need rest. You can accompany me to the office but not for work."

"What should I do at your office other than working?"

"Just come to the office and sit in my cabin. That's it. Whenever you feel weak or tired, you can come back to our home. Now, will you sleep without talking, or require a kiss from me to make you sleep?" Agni smirked.

I slept immediately. I noticed Agni smiling while staring at me.

"Close your eyes. You are not a fish to sleep by keeping your eyes open."

I didn't react.

"Close your eyes," Agni raised his voice to scare me.

I closed my eyes pouting. I don't know how long I slept. When I opened my eyes, I saw Agni kissing my feet. What is he doing? Is he guilty?

"Hey! Did you wake up? I thought to wake you up for lunch," Agni said.

I got up from the bed.

"Do you want anything? Tell me and I will bring it for you," Agni said blocking my way.

I shook my head as no.

"Then why did you get up from the bed?"

He asked holding my hand.

"Leave me," I said.

"What happened, Jwala? Why are you so irritated?" Agni asked without giving me a chance to move.

"Stupid, leave me I need to go to the washroom," I whispered as I was irritated with his behaviour.

"Shut! I thought you need something," he said and moved away allowing me to go.

By the time I got fresh up, he had arranged lunch for me.

"Have your meal," he said serving me food.

I blinked my eyes few times. Is it Agni or his twin brother? How can Agni be this sweet? He doesn't like serving or caring for anyone. He always loves to pass orders to everyone. I took a bite and coughed. He patted slowly on my head and gave water to me.

"Be careful, Sweety. Is the food spicy? I will ask the cook to prepare food according to your taste," Agni said taking a bite from my plate.

I remembered the tortuous days of my life where I was forced to eat the food mixed with chilli powder by Agni.

"It's not that spicy. I think you should eat carefully. I will make you eat," Agni fed the food to me.

I completed my lunch. Agni took my plate and gave it to the maid. Agni had lain on the bed and pulled me into his arms. I don't know why but I remained still in his arms. He caressed my hairs, and I slept in his arms peacefully.

I woke up and realised that I was still in his arms. He smiled looking at me.

"You look cute when you were asleep," he complimented.

"I never noticed your beauty being too busy in enjoying your tears," he said closing his eyes for a few minutes.

"Leave me, Agni," I said, and he freed me from his grip.

I washed my face and stood on the balcony. I looked at the garden. I recalled the time where I spent in the backyard for a day and slept on the grass during the nighttime. He tortured me cruelly. Why am I unable to be harsh to him? I hate him. I don't love him, but still, I didn't want to hurt him. Am I weak? Do humanity and kindness make a person this miserable?

"Jwala, take this juice," he gave a glass to me.

"Thank you," I said.

"Are you enjoying the view of our garden?" He asked.

"This beautiful garden reminds me the bitter memories from the past."

"Can't you forget the past?"

"I can't forgive you and forget your torture."

"No problem. Do you love my sister and brother?"

"Yes of course."

"Will you marry me for them and our child?"

"Agni, stop talking about our marriage."

"I can understand how much you hate me."

I ignored his talks and asked him a question which was popping up in my mind from long back.

"Can you tell me why do you hate me to the extent where you love my tears?" I asked him.

He looked at me.

"Do you want to know the reason?"
