~Recap~
“Well, it can be slightly amusing or highly amusing at the same time.” Theo sparks as he springs a jewellery box. Azura thought he was going to present some magical rod or wand but instead, it was another stone.
Though, it was larger in size. Brighter in shade and it definitely did something to make Azura feel so heavy out of nowhere.
Just as Azura begins feeling dizzy, the stone starts shining excessively with golden light. The other small gems also began to light up even more along with floating in the sky. Azura couldn't figure if it was all still real or just a dream. “What, what is this?” She manages to ask before her balance fades out and falls down.
The only thing she could witness in the end was a wicked smile on Theo's face before she blacks out.
______
“Years and years have been passed. Countless of minutes, hours and days. From an infant to significant. Significant adult and yet she's nowhere to be seen. Nowhere near. Is this what we got after all these decades? Is this what was being awaited?” A feminine sound comes hoarsely.
“Too desperate to die huh?” Some new voice entered, taunting the former.
However, the former wasn't any less in terms of mocking as it perks once again. “Or, maybe it's a sign to prove that it is what it is. And this is the end.”
A sarcastic chuckle comes from the other side. “It seems like you're missing the point. When the ending is not happy, it's not the end.”
“No. It's not me who's missing the point.” Chirps the same previous voice. “It's you who's not getting it.” The owner of the sound seems to be holding onto an average size of stone in their hands. The face or figure wasn't really visible and so the thing that could be seen was only the stone itself.
It somewhat looked the same as one Theo had inside his gallery. Which literally spirited in front of Azura.
Well, talking of Azura, she just realised that she could hear, see and feel this illogical situation in an absurd surrounding. She wasn't sure if between whom because the people engaged with it seemed to be faceless. Only figures of shadows.
”You said that if it's the end, it has to be happy. Well, I'm happy to tell you it is indeed happy. For me. However…” The being takes a break before an enraged feature takes over them. “It will be a saddest, ugliest and deadliest ending. For you.” Another pause was taken before the figure swifts towards Azura with the stone which now seemed broken and sharp as a dagger.
The figure almost stabs Azura while screaming. “And a fatal ending for Azura!”
“No, please!”
“Azura?”
“Please, don't hurt me. I didn't do anything I…”, Azura trembled as she looked around to see a total opposite view than what she was seeing just a while ago.
Instead of dark and deepening surroundings, she was sitting inside a lighter and brighter room. Along with a cozier bed of course. Instead of those odd and unknown figures, she was next to none other than Theo.
That's when she remembers what had happened before she was here.
“Hey, you okay? Did you have a bad dream?”
She looks at Theo once again as he interrogates. She proceeds to interrogate as well in reply. “That stone you had in your gallery. What happened to it? Why did it…” She takes a pause as she thinks of the most accurate syllable to describe. “Why did it psyche?”
“Psyche?” Theo repeats, bewildered. He then begins to laugh as he speaks further. “Why would you say that?”
“Because it is what it was. It literally ignited and flew in the air like some spirit or miracle.” Azura exclaims hastily. She was afraid that Theo isn't going to believe it despite being right there with her while the scenario occurred.
But that's most probably because she herself wasn't believing it as a whole. She was unsure if what she experienced was reality or indeed just a dream. Especially after what she dreamt just earlier.
To clear her doubt, Theo assures, “Oh, no, no. Azura, yes, all those ambers were shining in the gallery.”
Whoa, so those were called ambers?
“But that wasn't because of any magic or such. Remember I told you, they are beyond the signification. The confliction of sunlight had them sparkling.”
“Oh…” Whispers Azura, having no idea if what else she could say. Before she actually knows as to what. However, before she could actually ask it, Theo's proceeds on answering himself without even her questioning it.
“And if you're thinking about what happened to you and how did you get here? Well, you got unconscious out of nowhere which I think is because of too much stress. As you've been stressing yourself a lot lately. Which is why I've brought you this vitalizing meal.” The man forwards a tray, having multiple edibles over it and they indeed looked delicious.
However, Azura had lost her appetite after all the wonders she had here.
“And I'm not gonna let you go without giving you the last and best wonder which is this made by me.” Heard the lady from the latter and she seemed surprised because, did she think that out loud?
“Umm, Theo…”
“Azura, please. Does it smell that bad that you don't even want to taste it?” Theo makes a puppy face and Azura instantly shakes her head, assuring him that it smelt good. “Great because I was going to make you eat anyway.” He concludes mischievously, making both of them chuckle in unison.
Azura tries to lift the spoon and eat but Theo insists on him feeding her. The lady sighs and lets the man be the man and she would lie if she wouldn't admit that it felt heavenly being fed by such a man with such heavenly food. She sets herself free and sinks in the moment.
Besides, it's always her to offer food to Theo so she must take advantage of having it vice versa.
