~Recap~
“Wait, Azura. You can't go with this over you.” Theo motioned at Azura's stained hoodie.
Realising about her jacket, Azura sighs and says, “Right.” After mumbling the one word to herself, she smoothly pulls the jacket off of her. She most probably didn't remember that she was in front of Theo which is why she swirled her long and blonde hair freely as she freed herself from the baggy fabric.
Theo was left astonished by the beautifully miraculous view in front of him.
He was taken back to actuality when he hears Azura muttering. Or to be clear, she wasn't really muttering, it was just Theo who thought she was because he was way too engaged with admiring the beauty of this goddess when all she did was to remove her jacket from her body which was still covered mannerly with other pieces of clothing.
Yet she amazed him like no other did. Azura amazed Theo like no one else did.
______
“Theo? Theo!”
The said man blinks several times as he realises that he's been staring at Azura for a pretty long time now that even the watchmen of the campus may start calling them.
But thanks to Azura, he was now on guard. “Y-yes, Azura…”, Theo replies to the lady who just called his name and wait…
“Hey, did you just call my name?”
One of Azura's eyebrows was raised in a dubious way. “Umm, not really? Why did you think so?”
And as soon as the excitement came over Theo's features, the sooner it was gone. “Oh? Really? Because I felt like you did and it felt so extremely real to be just a daydream. Maybe I was just too lost in admiring your physique.”
Azura looks at herself after the remark given by Theo and only then she realises that she has 'undressed' herself right in front of him. And so she gets startled as she covers her still clothes body as if she was actually naked.
The young frowns in perplexity. “Seriously? You're still probably fully clothed. I could barely see your shoulders even.”
Which was exactly true. And now Azura was even more embarrassed thanks to none other than Theo.
“Oh, yeah. You're right.” Chirps Azura as she calms her hassled state. She fake coughs to lessen the embarrassment and then she adds further, “Alright then. Am I good to go now? Geez, why do I even need to ask you? Of course I'm get going already.”
Without another word, the young lady starts dashing out from the scenario, only to be stopped by Theo, once again.
“W-wait, Azura.”
A huff comes from the said girl but she waits regardless. “Now, what?”
“You still can't go like that.”
“And, why is that? Azura interrogates.
Theo sighs subtly at Azura's innocence. “Because it's breezing outside and you may catch cold or just hurt yourself.”
Which is right because it was actually so close to snowfall. But Azura still has the pass to argue. “Well, yes. But then again, you ain't my bodyguard so don't bother.”
“Well, I won't bother of course because I'm your bodyguard. Which I am not, obviously. But I will for sure bother because I'm your friend. I hope that I won't need to remind you of this again.” The lady just rolls her eyes in an uninterested way. But it doesn't even take a millisecond for her eyes to spark with surprise when a very comfy, plushy and warm sweater is passed towards her side.
Only those facts weren't enough that another amazing fact had to come in the sense about this sweater which was that it belonged to Theo.
No wonder it has the wonderful scent of him.
“I know you're gonna repeat the same, don't bother, don't care, go away and blah, blah, blah. So please, just take it. It will keep you warm. It is not an expensive or branded one but it should be enough to keep you comfy. Keep you safe.”
There was of course a moment of them losing into each other's gaze. When the silence took place and the only audible thing was their breath. It could have been even more intense if only Azura didn't have to snarl.
“Easy, boy. It's only a sweater. Not a shield for logic's sake.”
Chuckling at the taunt given by Azura, the man perks, “Well, you'll never know it unless you actually wear it. Who knows, maybe it works better than a shield itself and protects you from all entities that have been waiting to haunt you.”
Once again, Azura's eyes spark in surprise but this time, they were genuinely stunned because, how could Theo guess so right that it felt as if he already knew… Knew something about those entities. Knew about Azura's nightmares and maybe just, he just knew about Azura as a whole?
“Besides…”
Oh, right. Azura was still with Theo. She had almost lost her mind in thoughts but thankfully, the said man brought her back to reality.
“When there's magic, there's no logic. And, being this close to you is no less than a miracle, no?” Theo winks as he motions to their positions and state and yes, they were dangerously close!
Azura scrunches her face in an angry way but it could be easily sensed that the lady faked the anger so terribly. She pushes Theo away and the latter just chuckles at the childish behaviour of the young and mad woman.
“I know that you're most probably not going to pull it over yourself. Especially not in front of me because the almighty knows what kind of pride or ego you have against me. So yeal, I shall take my leave now.” Theo says softly as he begins walking past Azura.
It was then Azura this time to call for him. “Wait.” Theo stops on his track and turns back a little to face Azura. He lifts his eyebrow questioningly. “You gave me this but, what about you? Are you not going to get cold?” Azura asks.
Theo beams in a lavish way to the interrogation. “You may call it no logic or magic but, knowing that you're warm, makes me feel warm inside out.” And without another word, Theo flashes from the campus, not giving Azura any other chance to argue or make an excuse.
She sighs as she wonders about everything that just happened and it literally felt as if what just happened. But, whatever happened made her feel bloomed, made her feel blush, made her feel blossomed.
And one way or another, she was blessed for whatever that happened. The wide curve on her lips was a literal proof of it. And the sparkling eyes of hers just confirmed it as well as she absentmindedly saw the direction where Theo went.
She then shifts her attention to Theo's sweater. She leans her face to feel the fabric's touch and it felt so like Theo. Only if it was him for real.
“Thank you…” Azura breaks on her sentence as she trembles if she should say it ahead or not. Nonetheless, she whispered. “Theo.”
It was the second time she called Theo's name because yes, Theo wasn't daydreaming when he heard Azura calling his name but, who's gonna know? Not at least Theo. That was more than enough for Azura.
