Well, right. Where did Azura's manners go?

“Yeah, thank you very much.” Azura thanked but sounded more like a warning. Theo would definitely struggle a lot understanding this young lady.

“Ouch, my pleasure.” The man said dramatically. Azura rolled her eyes before she looked back at him as he spoke further. “Anyway, what should I get myself? Do you have any suggestions on what I can get from the food court, Azura?”

Azura was so ready to tell Theo to freak off bit then something hit her mind. “I actually have a better idea. You can eat with me since I got myself extra meals.” She motioned to the canteen tray while beaming in glee.

Theo could not believe his eyes or ears because did Azura just invite him on a lunch date?

“I still can't believe that you actually asked me to have lunch with you and that too a treat from you, Azura. I don't even know how to say thank you because it's literally a big favor you did to me.”

And Azura could still not figure as to why this already hyperventilated guy was being hyper even more just by the fact that she invited him to have meals with her when she actually just wanted him to consume the garbage that the canteen had served to her so at least she'd be satisfied that her money didn't just waste like that.

Besides, he did deserve a little treat especially after teaching Cindy some lessons to behave, no?

“That's totally alright. It's not even a favor. You deserve it actually since you're such a nice guy.” replied Azura to the latter and though it could be sensed easily how artificial Azura's glee was, Theo could not help but be blessed.

He shakes his head while keeping the beaming instincts up. “No, no. It really means a lot to me, Azura. Even just a little from you is a lot to me.” Theo sparks as he begins taking some ounce of food from the tray.

Azura manages a chuckle while adding. “Really? Aww, that's so sweet of you. Well, you don't deserve just a little.” Azura legitimately wants to puke on her own overacting. But still it was better than puking after eating trash. “And, why are you even taking so little? Have some more. In fact, just have it all.” She insists, motioning at the plate.

Raising his eyebrow perplexedly, Theo interrogates, “Whoa, well thank you but, are you sure Azura because what are you going to eat then?”

It doesn't take even a blink of eye for Azura to pull her box of food forward and flaunt it in front of the man. “I actually brought homemade food so, yeah.”

“You had homemade lunch with you already? Then why did you get this from here?”

Well, the lady knew that she was making the biggest mistake that she was just going to regret ever. “I uhh…” However, “I actually got this specially for you!”

The wide and toothy smile on Theo's face was just priceless. “Seriously? Azura?”

“Umm, yes. I felt like you weren't really picking something good and hence I decided to treat you with the best menu they had here. I wanted you to try and have the best.”

“Awe, Azura. I already knew that behind your disappearance and silence there was some slice of care for me. And now I'm more than convinced and so happy.” Yeah of course, it could easily be sensed since the said man seemed to have butterflies all under his body which Azura just wished to burn off.

“Mm… This even tastes so good as you have suggested. I must say.” Complimented Theo but somehow it could be sensed that the man was trying hard to not throw out the stuff out of his mouth.

The scenario made Azura giggle internally because of course it was fun to see Theo struggle because of her. Though, the struggle didn't appear to stay longer when he managed to somewhat cope with it and then he genuinely showed a thankful grin to Azura which faded her giggle right away.

She doesn't really know if how she should react because she didn't know what she was feeling in the first place.

Was she mad? Not really. Well yeah, Theo was somewhat a headache and made her sick but at this very moment, she definitely wasn't. Was she happy? Of course not. Not after seeing Theo all happy proves that her lame plan to trigger him failed terribly.

Was she amazed?

Now this was something she could not deny as the amusement on her face was just too intensive. She was amused by the fact of this man and his act. How come was he able to swallow all that mess smoothly and soothingly and why in the world did he even do it?

Was it really just because he wanted to eat with her? No, that can't be possible. Why would he do this just for that? He most probably just liked the food. Yeah. That would be it.

“Yes.”

And only now Azura realizes that she's been snatched from reality but thanks to Theo's voice, she's back.

“Umm yeah but, what is that yes for?” Azura asks.

Theo chuckles as he answers, “You asked if I enjoyed eating or not, so, my answer is yes.”

“Oh, did I? Ahaha. Great and great to know that you like… This.” The lady rambles while looking at the empty tray. Wow, he really ate it all.

“Yeah, and you know what actually, it really doesn't matter what I'm eating in the first place. No meal is good if I'm having it without you. But, every meal or maybe just everything is best as long as I get to do it with you. Azura.”

At this point, Azura was actually feeling somewhat bad for what she did and she was even concerned if the man would catch some sickness and such.

“Oh… I uhh… I–”

“It's alright. You don't have to say anything if you're not ready. I already said this before and saying again now, the wait is worth for you.”

Once again, Azura was too captivated by Theo's words that she couldn't do anything to react or revert but just stay still. Not receiving any response from the lady for a long, the man decided to speak again. “Well, we are going to have lunch together everyday from now on, right?”

“Yes!” Azura didn't know if why she agreed instantly for this. Maybe that's because poor Theo deserved this after all that. Or maybe because she was not just a blatant monster.

Or maybe… Maybe she actually cared about this strange man. She cared about Theo and she didn't even know. Perhaps, she did but she'd rather not admit.
