“I have a volleyball game later. Do you want to watch? ” Skyler asked.
Faith and Erin immediately nodded at Skyler's question. Only Aubrey disagreed. “Sorry guys, I won't come with you first. I want to go home as early as possible for today. You know, I'm so tired, ”said Aubrey.
Skyler glared at him. "You just want to see Miller before you go home," the young man teased her. Aubrey glared at her, which made her friends laugh.
“Oh hey, be careful coming home. Bye!” Faith says goodbye to Aubrey. Aubrey waved her hands in farewell to them.
As she walked, she seemed to notice Miller even as he turned his back. She immediately chased after him. She was surprised when she saw him carrying a box.
"Hi!" her greeting. "What is that?"
Miller turned to her. When the young man noticed it was Aubrey, he showed a smile on his face. “I just saw it earlier in the trash of our school. There is a cat inside. ”
Aubrey's heart was touched by what she heard. Knowing Miller, he is close to cats. Several times she had noticed that the cats were always gentle with the young man. Although Miller is not tame to other people, he is a lot different when it comes to animals. Aubrey can't deny that her types are animal -loving men.
Aubrey went in front of Miller to open the box. When he opened it, a black cat was exposed that was fast asleep. It's cute but it looks like the kitten is bald on some parts of its body.
"She's cute, isn't she?" Miller asked, smiling. Aubrey nodded.
"Yes, but the one holding the box is way cuter." The young man blushed when Aubrey said that.
"Are you blushing?" she teased. “Bye, Miller. Take care!"
Aubrey ran away happily. Now she realized that starting yesterday, she was no longer ashamed to tease the young man. Maybe she's really moved on with Kayden. She's proud of herself for that.

All this time, Kayden was watching Aubrey. While inside the vehicle, he inspected her. The girl approached Miller and they both looked happy. This scene is not something he would tolerate. He only does this to figure out what his next move is so that he doesn’t really have a rival to Aubrey.
Aubrey soon left school. That is when Kayden decided to start driving. He followed Miller's direction. The young man was carrying a large box but it did not seem to contain much. Kayden sped up driving in a manner that he would hit Miller. When Miller noticed this, he stopped the car. He wanted to startle Miller but he didn't want to hurt him. Miller looked down on him so Kayden reciprocated with a smirk. Miller just sidestepped into the pathway so Kayden wouldn't pester him again.
Kayden felt proud of himself. From now on, he would make sure that Miller would suffer under his hands - that’s for taking Aubrey away from him. He will do whatever it takes just to go get Aubrey back in his arms again.
He hadn’t been far from school yet and he noticed one of his admirers - the class president of Aubrey’s section for that school year, Claire. “Interesting,” he muttered. He slowed the drive and stopped it near the pathway. He blew his horn at Claire and looked at the girl. He opened his car window.
“I want to eat somewhere. Want to go with me? ” he asked Claire. In shock, Claire's eyes widened. She nodded without hesitation. "Sure!" the girl replied.
Claire got inside Kayden's car. Shedidn’t even think about whether she would come or not because she thoroughly admired Kayden. What he doesn’t know, she is falling for a trap that he just thought of minutes ago.
Kayden tried to be sweet to her. Kayden brought his face close to the girl's and smiled. Claire thought he would kiss her but he just reached for the seatbelt. He put it on to Claire so they would be safe on the ride. Claire just chuckled.
They stopped by Mang Kanor Restaurant. Kayden heard that food in that restaurant tastes nice. “Shall we eat here? It looks delicious, ah, ”said Claire.
They both went out of the car. It's only five o'clock and it's nice to look at the sky. Add the exterior of Mang Kanor's, it's a perfect place. Claire picked up the cellphone and went to the camera application. "Shall we take a picture?" she asked Kayden. Kayden immediately approached her and posed for a perfect picture. This way, he can lure her to his trap.
They walked into Mang Kanor. They searched a table for two people and successfully found one. A waiter immediately went to their table and gave them the menu. They both scanned the whole menu. "For me, sizzling pork sisig with iced tea," Kayden said.
"I'm marinated pecho with rice and drinks," Claire dictated.
The waiter wrote their order on a receipt. "It's just that, nothing else?" ensuring the waiter. Kayden and Claire nodded.
"That will be 450 pesos."
Claire reached for her wallet but Kayden stopped her. "I'll pay for you," he insisted. Claire's face shows the thrill she feels now. For the first time in her life, someone would cheer and treat her as the man she wanted. Plus, he’s not her boyfriend (yet?). Isn't that romantic?
“Thank you, Kayden. I'm going to review today for our examination but you asked me to eat outside and that’s even better. Why would I decline? ” Claire silently chuckled. Kayden just smiled at her.
They waited fifteen minutes for their meal. The two started eating right after receiving their food. They can do nothing except look at each other and smile.
"Claire, I want a favor from you in exchange for something," Kayden said.
Claire looked at him brightly with a smile on her face. "Sure, what's that?" she asked.
"Let's date for a day." Claire wanted to get sunk down as soon as she heard what he said but she restrained herself. "But I have a condition."
“Of course, whatever it is, I will do it. Just so we’d date,” Claire promised with a smile.
His lips formed a grin. “Good to hear that. This is the plan. ”
"You have an examination tomorrow, right?" Claire nodded. “Since teachers always leave their original copy of the exam and the key to correction inside the faculty's office, I want you to take the teacher’s key to correction and put it in Miller's bag. Frame him up. ”
Claire was surprised by Kayden's request. She’s just thinking about that plan and it looks like she's going to have a hard time. Because of the influence of Kayden and his parents at their school, she knows that she’s going to have an even harder time if she doesn’t do him a favor.
"I'm willing to do it for you, Kayden, but I'm afraid my conscience will eat me up." Claire looked down.
"It's fine if you don't want to do it," Kayden confessed to him. He put on an act that would look as if he's disappointed.
"No, I'll do it," Claire assured.
"It's just a secret between us, okay?" Kayden raised his eyebrows.
Kayden admits he is a cheater. His head is fucked up - he doesn't have good manners and he's always looking for a fight. He's willing to do anything just to win.
