　　**** A day Later ***

　　I woke up early because I couldn't breathe properly because of the aircon. Maybe I'll get used to the atmosphere of this school soon. My cellphone rang suddenly so I took it from the table and opened it.

'How was your first day?' Mama and papa asked through text.

I miss them. I want to go home. Everyone around me seems so different and that makes me fell that I don't fit in here. And I will never really be.

　　'I'm fine mama, I'm happy here but it's just more fun at home. Be careful," I reply to them.

　　'We can't feed my baby anymore. We'll miss you. Be careful there too,' mama replied.

I smiled at mama's text. I'm sure papa is laughing next to her now. I'll only stay in this school for two years.

'Yes. I'll take a bath first,' I replied.

　　I put my cellphone back on the table. I saw my eyeglasses which is why I became a nerd. I don't have an eye problem. I just want to protect my eyes. I also look good because of that. I'm ugly without that. So it's okay even if I'm a nerd forever. I got up and entered the CR. This place is good because I don't have a roommate.This isn't a dorm because I don't have anyone with me.

　 I finished my bath and I looked in the mirror. I saw my reflection. This was the first time I had looked in a mirror without my eyeglasses.

　　Does this look qualified to participate in the Aquamarine Beauty Pageant? I don't think so. I have to join I want to be ranked as S. I have to fight Honeylyn Brigary.The most famous in this whole school. I took off the towel and put on my uniform. I went out of my room. There weren't many students yet. It was a good morning.

"Ohayo (Good morning)."

Greeted by someone with a boy voice behind me so I turned to him and I saw a man and Honeylyn Brigary. .

"Ohayo means good morning miss. You probably know me.This one, is Gray Ash'to,my friend," Honeylyn introduced her friend.

What is the intention of these two rich people?

　　"Good morning too" I replied.

　　"We noticed you were too early nerdy girl so we approached you. Is there something bothering you?" Gray asked friendly.

　　He is also a Grade 11 student, Ranked S. Maybe his genius.

　　"Are you going to join the Aquamarine's Beauty Pageant?" Honeylyn asked.

　　Why are these two acting like this? Show how bad you are! I hate people who always acts as someone they're not.

"No, I'm sure I'll lose when I join" I replied to her.

　　"Actually, Miss Steffania. The Beauty Pageant has been postponed. There will be a classroom and school elections before that. So we will reschedule the Aquamarine's Queen search. There's still time for you to get ready," she said

Even though I still have time, I don't have a budget for that. I don't know that there is such a thing in this school. I'm not rich enough to know what's going on here.

"Well, yah. It's just that, that's not in my plan," I said to stop these.

"Okay, we're leaving because we still have a lot to do. Our former School President transferred so there will be an early election," said Gray and the two walked away.

　　So that means, Honeylyn isn't the president of this school.

　　What do I want in the school election? Even if I participate in anything in this school, I will never win. I also don't want to expect even a one percent chance. I walked out of the building and noticed that there were a lot of students here. The others were in the canteen. They love snacks but I only eat during breakfast, lunch and dinner.

　　"Oh my gush, why did a landslide hit this school?"

　　"I'm itching. I'm allergic to those people who are using cheap soaps."

　　"It's her second day today but if I'm her, I'll just go back to a cheap school because she will surely fit there."

　　"She's out of our league."

"We don't have her at the same level. She isn't worthy to be class s so she's only up to class E."

Those are just some of the gossips I heard here at school. Maybe they're happy that they're making fun of me. Who cares about those spoiled brats anyway. I'll show them that learning is not about money.It is about effort and intellect.No money can buy knowledge.Pathetic.

　　"Good morning newbie nerd" Class pres said to me and she was with Class v-p again.

　　"We decided to include you in the classroom election as the secretary. They say nerds are genius" Zehgfred said seriously. My rank may rise when I join the election and win. But what can I do? I'm a nerd. I'm not rich like them.

　　"You're worrying with your beauty? You're pretty in fact. It's just that you're not combing properly. But we have plans for you, so you just need to glow-up. Act like you're rich. You're one of us. "said Zehgfred. Glow up? Maybe it's just that I'm not used to not having eyeglasses. I also don't have a lot of money to spend for stuffs.

　　"But ,,, what ..... because ....-" they cut off what I was going to say.

　　"You don't have money? Don't worry. Let's tell them all that you're just pretending to be a cheapipay. We'll make a fake background for you." Class Pres.

　　Is that why the rich always win because they are liars? I can't lie. I also don't want to be like the Astrals.

　　These two are smiling at me. They seem to really want me to participate in the classroom election. "I don't want to because-" they cut off what they were supposed to say. "Lie? Anyone Jerelca, is lying. You don't know if your parents are also lying. You've to do that even if you don't want to." Zehgfred said.

　　I don't know what to do. I can't lie. Why am I fighting for a promise? Yah, I didn't promise anything. What if everyone knows I'm just lying? I'm sure I'll be expelled from this school.

　　"Think about it carefully. It's still a long time for you.The election will start from Grade-7. You still have time to think" .....

　　I was already in the classroom. Few of my classmates came, including Class Pres and Class V-P. What if I agree? I'm sure they won't gossip about me anymore.

　　Only when everyone finds out, what will happen to me? Well, I don't know if I have to raise my rank before the end of the first quarter.

　　Our Philosophy teacher entered,Teacher Magenta Kerhi .

　　"Good morning students, we will let you know who will participate in the whole school election. The one -year vacant position after the transfer of the incumbent president will be contested by: -Honeylyn Brigary, rank s and Katania Alfonso, rank A.The vice president, on the other hand, is to be contested betweeen -Gray Ash'to, rank s and Ashzarre Ahrimaya, rank s .The secretary position will be contested by -Karl Astral, rank s and Jerelca Steffania, rank e "maam's statement makes my jaw dropped. That Karl is deceitful. Rank E is the opponent. I'm sure I'll lose. This isn't fair. I thought it was just in the classroom.

　　"Sorry maam but Ms. Steffania will run as secretary in the classroom" complained Class Pres. What can enter the brains of those who put me in that position? Stupid. "But this is what Ashzarre Ahrimaya's group decided." Maam replied.

　　Being controlled is making my life harder than expected.This school is such a pain. "I'll be the one to talk to him. Later maam" I said because I'm sure Karl will beat me.
