"You?!" Ryan hissed, looking annoyed at Greta. He still clearly remembered the face of the annoying woman he met yesterday at the airport.
Greta tried hard to look normal, she even tried to smile at Ryan who obviously wouldn't smile back.
"Okay guys, so today we're going to cook Beef Wellington, as we know cooking Beef Wellington requires special skills, because we have to make sure that the steak in the puff pastry is cooked well, and we also have to make sure the Pastry that we make is cooked perfectly," Chef Ryan Lewis begins his cooking demo.
"So today I will be accompanied by, what is your name?" he asked Greta curtly.
"Greta, Greta Specter," Greta replied in a low voice she was able to be intimidated by the arrogant man standing tall beside her.
The demo event went smoothly, Greta helped Ryan a little, but she stood mostly awkwardly because Ryan blatantly ignored her.
After the demo was over Greta immediately returned to her chair, where Amy was still sitting on the chair next to her.
"I saw something strange earlier, did chef Ryan say 'you' to you as if you've met before, or was it just me?" chirped Amy with thinking eyes.
Greta waved her hand,
''Don't talk about that arrogant Chef, talking about him just drives me crazy!'' Greta said annoyed. She took her bag and walked out of the classroom quickly making Amy look at her in confusion.
While rushing to the toilet, a student who was carrying pastry practice materials accidentally dropped a banana peel which Greta accidentally stepped on. She immediately slipped and almost fell to the floor, luckily someone caught her.
Greta opened her eyes and was even more surprised when she saw Ryan Lewis looking down over her. Ryan, who was passing by, was on a reflex to save her without knowing it was Greta or someone else.
"You!" snapped Greta.
With one quick movement, Ryan let go of his hand making Greta fell with a loud thud to the floor. "What the hell are you doing? Did you just throw me on the floor?!" snapped Greta so irritated she felt like crying.
"I didn't mean to," Ryan said with a hint of guilt. But without apologizing he immediately walked away leaving Greta who was staring at his back with anger burning in her chest.
With difficulty, Greta got up from the floor and stood up straight. As she forced herself to walk she felt a pain in her spine that connected to her right leg. There must have been a mistake when she landed on the floor. It's all happened because of that cocky Ryan Lewis!
With slightly limp steps Greta walked out of the campus. Usually, she would only walk for about twenty minutes to get to her apartment. But because of the pain, she chose to walk to the side of the road and look for a taxi. She didn't realize that someone had been watching her from inside the car.
Greta occasionally grimaced as she felt a pulse behind her back. She turned her head to the street hoping for a taxi to appear soon because the sky was dark and it was going to rain soon.
But what stopped in front of her was not a taxi, but a metallic black SUV.
"Come in, I'll take you home," suddenly a voice appeared along with the window slowly opening.
Greta was suddenly surprised when she saw that Ryan Lewis was behind the steering wheel.
"You!" Greta hissed in annoyance, then she turned her face away curtly.
"Hurry up! Do you want me to take you or not? You seem to be having a bit of trouble walking?" Ryan Lewis said without taking his glasses off.
Greta snorted,
"So funny! Go away I don't need your ride! What a coward! How can a man drop a beautiful woman like me to the floor just like that! Disgusting!" Greta grumbled still not wanting to get into Ryan's car.
"Okay if that's what you want," Ryan said, he closed the window then stepped on the gas pedal slowly leaving Greta who started to panic open her cellphone to order a taxi online. But unfortunately, his cellphone was completely dead because last night she forgot to charge the battery.
As if a little bad luck wasn't enough, it started raining in big drops, leaving Greta half wet.
Amid the rain that was slowly started to become heavy, an SUV pulled back and stopped right in front of her.
"Hurry up! You have no choice now, the temperature will drop any minute and you're not even wearing a coat!" Ryan said, forcing Greta to enter his car.
Having no other reason, Greta finally agreed to get in the car. She sat next to Ryan with mixed feelings.
The car drove through the empty street. They just stared at each other for a while until Ryan finally opened his mouth.
"I'm sorry about earlier, I didn't mean to drop you off on the floor. Do you want me to take you to physiotherapy?" he asked in a flat tone.
Greta wanted to refuse, but the throbbing in her tailbone left her with no choice.
"Okay, take me to physiotherapy. I accept your offer because you are indeed guilty of making my tailbone hurt!" she hissed annoyed. But Ryan didn't answer.
Greta looked around the car, which looked very neat and fragrant. By looking at the contents of the car, it seemed that Ryan Lewis was a very neat and detailed person.
The car stopped in front of a physiotherapy clinic. With great difficulty, Greta got out of the car. She walked with one hand holding her buttocks. With every single step, the throbbing in her tailbone grew louder.
Greta turned to look at Ryan who was walking leisurely next to her. "If something bad happens to me, you have to take responsibility!" Greta cursed and then frowned again, feeling the pain that was spreading.
Ryan didn't budge, secretly he felt sorry for her that she was difficult to walk. Instead of going into the clinic and grabbing a wheelchair, he stood in front of Greta blocking her way.
"What are you doing?" snapped Greta confused seeing Ryan standing in front of her.
Without answering, Ryan lowered his body, offering his back for Greta to climb on. Greta glared at him in surprise.
"Hurry up before I change my mind!" Ryan snapped, a little sore from lowering his body for too long. Greta bit her lip uncertainly. Should she jump up? But what about her pride?
