The beauty of a woman has always been considered as a weapon, an attack, a trap which almost every single man becomes a victim of.
No matter if the man has feelings, no matter if he's already in love, though with someone else. No matter if he has excessive hatred towards the woman that makes him commit sins. As long as she is a woman, she will definitely take over the men, take over her man and manhandle her man.
And if she is an ex, a mistress and covered with unheard, unknown mysteries, she becomes even more bold, sexy, powerful and dangerous. A danger which every single man wants to run far, far away. A threatening danger which Dominic Kim wants to run far, far away and away.
“Yet, we are still here, together.” A tenderly thin voice vocalized the said statement. It sounded sweet like cherries and strong like the strongest red wine. “Together, alone… At my home.”
“Just shut the hell up, Jaelyn.” Another voice, though manly this time, added into the scene.
The lady chuckles without any humor, more like mockingly as she says, “Oh, right. My bad, Dominic. It's not my home. It's our home.”
“I am not here for your pointless bullshit, Jaelyn. Let's get straight to the business which is this defect that is ruining every staff and client's privacy. Which is invading our company's privacy.” Dominic exclaims in annoyance while throwing the defected cell phone on the table's surface harshly that it could make one sane human flinch. However, neither Jaelyn was sane, nor close to what was known as a humble human being.
Instead, she had an expressionless poker face. She literally did not seem merely interested in the device or the defect. “Ohh…” Was the only response of her regarding the main business. “And, what about our privacy, Dominic? What about us?” She adds interrogatively and this time she seemed very much interested. And this was of course nowhere related to the business.
The words released by the woman were enraging Dominic from the inside and he so wanted to release them out as well but he knew, he knew that it's exactly what Jaelyn was tending to do. That it was exactly her filthy little mission. “There is nothing like ours and especially there is no us. We have departed way back long and now it's just you with your sugar daddy and me with my lovely wife whom I am so in love with and I will love till the end of my last breath!” The man almost screamed the last sentence with extreme emotion.
Jaelyn nonchalantly nods her head, as if agreeing to what the hustled man was saying yet really not caring about a single word he just spoke. “Maybe till your last breath, but not mine, Dominic.” She purrs and the latter just shakes his head in utter disapproval. “Anyways, Terence was of course not my sugar daddy but of course he was not the one whom I was in love with, despite being my husband so yeah, your claim is not entirely invalid but neither is it entirely accurate.” She adds and the man in front seemed so ready to blow but she cuts him off.
“Anyways, would you like to have something? Snacks, shakes or drinks?” Asks the woman as she stands from the couch and makes her way to the mini bar in the hall.
“No.” The one word answer left Dominic's mouth but the tone definitely apprised that he didn't want a drink. Or basically anything offered by Jaelyn.
But Jaelyn was just more than keen to offer him things. So, so many things. “Please, you are my guest Dominic. It's my allegiance to treat you well. It's my obligation to please you.”
“You're pathetic.”
“Oh I remember! You used to love red wine. No?”
“No.” Dominic repeats his blatant answer.
But again, “Oh don't you lie, Dominic.” Jaelyn chimes sparklingly as she springs the wine bottle from the shelf and goes back to the table where Dominic was sitting. She settles two wine glasses and starts filling them soothingly. “I still remember how you used to sip on red wine before sucking on my red lips.”
A loud thud came on the table's surface, making the drink flow over the glass. “Just stop with your disgusting fuckery!”
“You weren't disgusted when you used to fuck me.”
“I more than regret every bit of it.” Dominic screeches as if it was venom to spill.
“But I know that deep down, you miss it. You miss me more than anything. Even more than that typical wife of yours.”
“You are crossing the line, Jaelyn.”
“I would love… If you cross it too.” The lady whispers huskily as she lifts her wine glass but instead of sipping on it, she breaks the glass and shatters it into pieces. The act puts a horrified look on Dominic's face. Though it didn't stay still for so long when Jaelyn takes one of the pieces to her dress' strap and cuts it off, making her milky white shoulder expose. And ohh… She even cut off her bra strap making her cleavage show even and she more than loved the stunned expression on the man's face.
And Dominic was himself surprised by his own act. He hated Jaelyn, he hated her more than any other thing in the world. Yes, there was a time, a time where he loved her. Loved her to a level which couldn't be even measured. She was his first love. And a kind of love which no other could ever be till now. Not even his beloved wife.
And another surprising fact was that not many people, or maybe not any other people were aware of the chemistry between Dominic and Jaelyn. The mystery they had, from days, months, years.
Maybe only a few people did who were probably related to their past. But just like their past, many of their allies and many other things just flushed away. Even Jaelyn and Dominic had faded away from each other's lives but somehow, fate played it differently with them. And it played dirty. Filthily dirty.
“Well, let's get to the business. About the defect in the devices…” The woman speaks, taking the man out of his thoughts. She chuckles at the man's act as she continues. “It will be resolved soon. You don't need to worry about it.” She assured and Dominic frowns in confusion at the vague answer.
