Amidst the whole drama, another unfolds when we took heed of a young lady running in.

"Methane, what happened?". We curiously got up from the chair and veered closer.

"Ma'am....the.. company..fire..at..the.. warehouse...".

I looked on trying to understand the words she says, it made no sense but when she got a chance to get herself together, it was told that the warehouse in which they kept supplies caught fire and also took the lives of two of the workers who were caught in the fire.

Elena took a step backward in shock, she almost landed on the floor but when noticed I pulled her up with the hands she strangled years back.

After a while, we both got to the site and saw the warehouse as been brunt down and everything inside it.

Elena walked further scoring her eye around, quietly I stood and watched, finally gaining methane's attention.

"Who are you by the way?" She asked after recalling I was the same person who bumped into her.

Before I could introduce myself, Elena let out from behind, she says " his name is Salem Baltimore, the new managing director in charge of the finances of the company, and thankfully he's here because I need his help!".

It felt good seeing her singing my praises, minus the fact that it was met to me In my job description, it was also my father's company, and as well, it is my solemn duty not to let anything happen to the legacy Mr. Liam Khan left for me.

Elena gave me the go-ahead and sends methane to also help me out in doing my job.

She shoots a fake smile and honors her boss's request, such a loyal worker, isn't she?.

The whole day ran by quite quickly, I returned home and the moment I took a step forward, a hand pulls me back and throws a push at me, luckily I had quick reflexes I bent down as it flung over my head.

I had two options, it was either I pushed his soul out of his body or walk away as a gentleman should, but in all David had so much to say, I almost took the first option.

"What the hell is going on here?"

Riya rushed like David was getting slaughtered by me and veered him away from my presence.

Urgh! Ever since I took my step-in, everyone seems to try getting on my nerves, mostly Riya, she has a way of bringing the worst out of me. (Annoying).

An hour later, I read through the financial statement of the company, it seems like a certain amount of my was missing because the numbers don't add up at all.

"May I come in".

I lifted my gaze and saw Elena standing outside my room, " yes ma'am" I said as she walked closer to me, she says and I quote, " thank you so much for helping me out, I know I am asking much of you but please this company means a lot to me, it was my late father's, but after my husband tried to steal from me, he left the company in disarray".

And there she was, blaming others for her crime, I should I know, wicked witch can never change, a witch will always be one, and my mom is the queen mother in the witches Kingdom if there is any.

I had no choice but to play in her game, somehow later, it will be my turn.

"It's okay ma'am, I understand, Riya told me everything, how have you been doing ma'am".

Self-pity was the main aim of the annoying way of getting my fake sympathy,(witch).

She poured out her heart to me, remaining to confess her undying love to me, but that wasn't my main concern, I needed to find out something important from her.

So I said," erm, ma'am is there any chance that a certain amount of money might be missing from the company?".

She ran deep in thought trying to gather up the whole truth, "no son, I don't think so because ever since our account resigned from his post, Stan my sister's husband have been the one handling me,

Is it possible that stan might be responsible for the missing money and besides if I have gotten the chance to get to know him, he might as well been called uncle?

"Okay, ma'am, I'll go talk with him tonight!". I said as we both left his room.

We moved closer and walks in to see he was surprised in a hurry to go leave.

"Oh good morning Elena, what brings you to my room?". He asked falling his eyes to me.

Elene have me the go-ahead and I told on the real reason behind our sudden visit.

He frowns for a while before weaving his words back to me, I quote, "okay, I do know about anything related to the missing money, and besides I wasn't the only one who controlled it, Tina did as well,  my wife's sister, do you remember Elena?".

Stan shifted the suspicion to her,  and I knew if we go on to ask, she might direct us to the next person, something is up.

Afterward, we left his room, Stan poked his head outside and caught us ambling in the opposite direction.

"How am I going to find out that truth? It felt like everyone around wears deviousness in their faces, I had to think of something unless I might end up running in mazes.

Well, luck seems to be on my side, when I noticed a camera planted in my room, I pulled out a chair and climbed on to confirm my suspicion.

I never knew there was a camera home or maybe Elena planted it there, to check up on me, she never seems to surprise me.

"If I was Liam Khan, where would I hide the CCTV footage from, I had to find it out and check out the footage to see who's telling the truth.

Quickly I rushed out of my room in search of it, my feet moved closer to the storage room, strangely something dragged me inside,  that's where I saw the CCTV footage of everywhere and what everyone was doing, playing right in front of me.

Out of being careful, I pushed the door closed, sat down on a stool kept there, and carefully watched through the footage.

Stan paced like he killed a person in the room, I sewed my eyes after and caught Riya misbehaving in her room, I caught her dancing to k.pop music, gosh, she was such a terrible dancer no wonder she locks herself in the room.

An hour passed nothing seems to gain my attention but everything changed when a lady veered in and to my surprise, methane was the person.

"Hello, uncle Stan, why did you send for me?" She says veering her back.

Something felt fishy,  I enlarged the image so I could hear their conversation.

"Methane, I am in deep trouble, Elena found out about the missing money from the company, all thanks to the new worker she employed".

Methane was in no way pleased by my coming, she let out in a creepy demeanor.

"It's okay uncle, I can handle him, what's his name again, oh yeah! Salam Biltmore, and trust me, he won't be able to find out anything, okay?".

She assured him that if only she knew who's she trying to mess with.
