My Story Army Brat
This story can all so could be a love story be what it may be…. Here’s my story Its about a young boy moving to New Jersey coming from New York after having moved from his friends that he was growing up with after four years of living in Sheep’s Head Bay
I know that’s life , I got to go places most of you will never get to see in your life time .Most of you are saying so what or what are you crying about you got to go around the world with your father. I DO NOT REMBER HOW I LEARDED HOW TO RIDE a bike .I do have some Memories of France Germany, England, Kentucky , Colorado, Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina, Mexico, just to name a few a few. I should be glad right? Nope I did not have a childhood not in the since that a normal person Friends Or should I say a friend from the cradle to the grave I mean I have friends from base to base but not real friends until We moved to Fort Dix. Yep good old fort Dix and Pemberton high School, yea yea … but I’m getting a head of myself this is how w e got there OH yea meet the family. My mother Constance who always was Dressed to kill, My Father, Robert E Taylor , who was a killer only because of the Vietnam war, My younger Sister Tanya and Brother Robert. I was thinking that my father had came home after the war to take his family out of the ghetto to a better life.
One thing about being a Army Brat was that we did not know about racism until we came back to the states. But I’m getting away from the story. So one day in Brooklyn the next in New Jersey. Only to find out that it was a rescue on my fathers part, getting my mother out of the but he city so she would not go to jail. Yea she was down with the real Frank Matthews, Yea they made a movie about him but they give the guy Frank White a play because he snitch on his whole crew. The real Frank Posted a unheard of amount of bail, payed it and walked off un heard from till most of his so called friend this day, this was 1973 I think or four not to sure it happed so long ago, yea but I was a kid trapped in his own house not allowed to even go in the yard to play because of kidnappers yep that’s how hard my mother played. She never give anybody up unlike his so called friends that rolled on him all but two, that’s another story.
